Best breakfast place in Amsterdam? You can't book a table here and it took us two attempts (Monday and Wednesday) to get a table. It was well worth the wait. Everything was spectacular. We had the special Brioche Turkey Burger, Banana nut break French Toast and the Navajo Eggs. All brilliant. The Navajo Eggs were a particular standout. The BBQ pulled Pork was really succulent, balanced perfectly by the mango salsa, toast was delicious and topped off with the spicy mayo and egg yolk... Devine. To top it all off the staff were lovely too. 🙂 You have to try this place. Well worth the wait and a strong contender for best Breakfast in Dam.

Service was really good, waitress was nice and quick with our order, food and asking if we wanted anything else. Environment was a nice use of the space, comfortable and homey. Good selection of dishes, especially for tourists. Food was excellent, prepared well and had really good presentation. Be weary of wait times, it's quite crowded and during the day it's best to go online and reserve a table.

We had blueberry pancakes and carrot cake. What to say they were simply amazing!! So so good! We want on a Wednesday afternoon and we managed to get a table easily but apparently it gets super busy over weekends, so you may need to make a reservation. Coffee were good too. Would be back

Awesome breakfast place. Creative and delicious dishes made by using fresh and high quality ingredients (you can see most of them). All the eggs and other were perfectly cooked, well seasoned. Portions are huge, arrive hungry. Prepare for a queue, we arrived before they open and still had a small line. Staff is nice and friendly. Coffee was great.

Beautiful time well spent here for brunch. I absolutely love this place, from the food, ambience, and all the staff. Kiwi brekkie was huge! But the highlight of my visit was the French toast. I couldn’t explain it but the sauce was phenomenal, the toasts were soft and flavourful. Totally love in the first taste for sure. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good job!

This brunch place is so hyped - they don’t take reservations. You can only come up and sign up in the waiting list. But luckily enough, you can go wander around once you’ve done that. They will message you when your turn has come and your place will be kept for 10 minutes. We waited for about 40 min on a Sunday late morning. We ordered a Kiwi Brekkie and a 5-stacker American pancakes. They were both top notched! Very big portion and beautifully presented. The place was really busy though. They do care about turnover rate quite much I think.

This is a brilliant place for a Brunch, highly recommended. We had to join a virtual queue to get in as it was super busy, but simple to join the queue on their website. We had to wait about 40-50 minutes to get in and I can say the wait was so worth it. The service was excellent, very friendly and efficient. The food and drinks came fast enough even tho they were really busy and everything was super tasty. Their coffee is also excellent. I would recommend checking the virtual queue wait time on their website before heading out to save you standing outside for a while.

Really good place for breakfast if you’re looking to go all out. As an avid breakfast burrito lover, I was really satisfied with theirs. The pancakes were also good, close to American breakfast. The drinks are also really nice, I tried the alcoholic chocolate milkshake and to my surprise it tasted really good. Recommend it if you’re looking for a boozy brunch.

2nd time visiting this place when coming to Amsterdam on holiday - just as lovely as it was 4 years ago! The staff are all wonderful and super friendly. We visited on a Thursday morning and we’re lucky enough to immediately find a table, although I would recommend booking especially on weekends. The food is delicious and they have plenty of tasty options - half of the menu is veggie based which was great to see! The coffee is also fantastic. Great way to start your day in Amsterdam!

My favorite brunch place at Amsterdam! I have been there twice, and they never let me down. The food is very fresh and tasty. there are plenty of vegetarian options as well. The waiting list can be very long, note that you can join the waiting list online on your way there.

Just perfect! What a wonderful little find this place was on a recent day trip to Amsterdam! A friend and I looked on Yelp to find a good breakfast place near her hotel. We agreed on a place and when we arrived there around 09:00 the sign on the window stated that they open at 10:00. Unwilling to wait, we quickly Yelped for another place to have breakfast and discovered Bakers&Roasters, and it was only a few short blocks from our original place. We paused outside for a moment to be sure we were at the right place (restaurant name is not easy to see on the unassuming but cheerful exterior) when a friendly server opened the door and invited us in! We were seated in the full dining room on a cozy corner and were promptly given menus and an offer of drinks. Our server came in a timely fashion for our food orders. This guy was GREAT! Originally from Dublin, he was so delightful and super attentive. Our meals came quickly and we were both so impressed with it all: quantity, quality, taste, and presentation! Neither of us could finish our meals but our server was happy to wrap it up for us to take away. While we didn’t partake in them the desserts/sweets/bakery items looked amazing, too!

This place is very popular and there’s a long wait time. However, once you get in, it is just amazing food and service by the staff. Very efficiently our orders were taken and brought to us without any mistakes. There were 3 of us and each of us loved our food. Staff was very polite, friendly, interactive and efficient.

We came here 15 minutes before official closing and asked if we can still get something to eat. The friendly staff seated us without any hesitation and provided us with some recommendations for food. We chose the pancakes with banana, blueberries and maple syrup. They tested very good and were very fluffy. We were able to sit there for about an hour and still no one was putting any pressure on us to leave.

I've been here a few times already. The food is ready good. Last time I had Navajo eggs and their delicious mocha. I recommend arriving early and entering in the waiting list through their website as soon as you arrive cause it can be super busy sometimes. I was supposed to wait for 50min but the staff was super friendly and efficient and they got a place for us right away. I recommend giving it a try :)

Arrived here just after it opened and there was no queue luckily but as we were leaving the queue was huge! I understand why as this place is the perfect breakfast place to visit when you’re in Amsterdam! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and the food is unbelievable! There is a great variety on the menu perfect for everyone and definitely worth the money. Would 100% recommend

A nice, modern breakfast place! They are quite busy so would recommend booking in advance. Staff were very helpful and put us on a waiting list as we just walked in so we only had to wait 30 minutes. As it was very busy the service was a bit slow so definitely don't recommend it if you're looking for a quick bite. Food was delicious and portions were massive, so worth the wait! Also they do these amazing alcoholic milkshakes which are to die for!

Best breakfast in my life. Super fresh and tasty. I recommend to make the reservation before coming. Really busy place, but one hour waiting was worth it!

We ate incredibly delicious. the breakfast is very good and fresh. the staff was nice and attentive. in times of corona it has to be mentioned that the tables were cleaned and disinfected. criticism: the music was very, very loud. It was difficult to talk to one another.

Must go brunch spot in Amsterdam! Service and food were both 10/10. We did wait a bit for our table but the online queue is a very effective method for the waiting time! We ordered the florentine eggs and the eggs Benedict and then the blueberry pancakes! These were probably the most soft and perfectly sweet pancakes I’ve eaten! Really recommend!

First time eating here and I personally didn't mind the queuing system. It went by quite fast. Once inside it was really crowded, I think it's mostly tourists though. Barely heard any Dutch. You practically sit next to other tables, which is fine but you can definitely overhear their conversation. Service was okay, they did check on us a couple of times and refilled our bottle of water. Which is also very nice considering almost no restaurants do that here. We didn't feel like the service was rushing us out even during peak hours. Food was also nice and well seasoned.

We discovered this place as my partner really wanted scrambled eggs for breakfast, cue me looking up the best breakfast/brunch places nearby and found this gem. When we arrived there was already a queue to get in, which is a surefire way of telling if a place is particularly good, after a 20 minute wait we got in and seated. I had the banana milkshake with the chorizo burrito. The milkshake was not made with real banana but tasted excellent, and was really refreshing. The burrito was incredible, every bite was mouth wateringly delicious! The price is good too for the amount of food you get and how filling it is!

The waiters are nice, the place is cosy and the music is great. The food is also delicious, there's a variety of choices (as well as veggie options).

My favourite thing about this restaurant is the vibes and most importantly the staff, they were so welcoming and so friendly! The coffee was above delicious = delicious. I ordered the egg royale, its a toast with smoked salmon and Benedict egg, personally I think it’s a little bit dry, I would’ve preferred it with perhaps an avocado toping and a little bit more sauce on it. But it was still delicious. Then i ordered a slice of peanut butter choc cake, it was just not for me, but my friends liked it so depends on your personal preference.

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning and as in all big cities at this time...all the tables are occupied, but they have a very thoughtful waiting system. Enter the digital queue and it is immediately clear how long you have to wait. No need to stand in a long live line. The service staff is very kind and helpful. The selection of dishes is wide, but I must warn you that the portions are above average and in the end I was full. Pancakes are a must try. Fluffy, melt in your mouth type. Yum!

The food and service are always spot on - delicious, full of flavor, and not served with an attitude. It is a pleasure to dine here and keeps you thinking about your next meal and looking forward for what's to come!

I tried their veggie breakie last time I went and it was amazing. However, I got pancakes (3 stacks) the second time and the last pancake was raw in the middle. But overall, it’s a good place!

So good we had to go twice during our trip! The staff is top-notch, friendly, and helpful. ** Make sure to join the waiting list if there is a line. Simply scan the QR code in front of the restaurant. ** * you can take a short walk around the area while you wait :) The coffee is so amazing, and beautiful. Each cappuccino we ordered was perfectly beautiful. On our first visit, including the Jalapeño Cheddar Corn Cakes & Bacon + The Eggs Florentine. I think the corn cakes could be one of my favorite brunch items, ever. Wow!

  • 3/5 Alice H. 2 years ago on Google
I would give 3.5 stars as I didn’t get a chance to try the cakes yet. Also because my friend’s B&R special wasn’t that good according to her. We’re surprised by the crowds though, though mostly are expats living in the NL. Not too sure what the hype is about to be honest.

Nice team 🤩 and delicious food! 🤤 All the staff are smiling and take care of you all the way! Get ready for the food because your stomach will be delighted! 💥🌈 Already full before the pancakes but impossible to leave without having tasted it! 🙃 We had brunch on a Monday lunchtime for 2 people, no reservation and didn't wait NB: no photo for the pancakes 🥞 already swallowed 🙊

So good I went twice whilst on my 5 day trip to Amsterdam. The first time I went I had the B&R special, which had the perfect mix of sweet and savoury. My scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and the pancakes were fluffy and tasty. On the second time I had the breakfast burrito. It was tasty and all the flavours in it complimented each other nicely. I would definitely go back a third time if I ever come back to Amsterdam.

Great eggs and bacon. Pancakes were phenomenal and the eggs Benny were a hit. They have good cocktails and a wide variety of tea and coffee as well as milkshakes. Great for a late breakfast or brunch.

Had the opportunity to visit Bakers & Roasters and then had to join the waiting list of 15 other parties. Waited for 40 minutes, fortunately, well-spent. Enjoyed the service, the food, coffees, and hospitality of the waitress as well as the chefs (kind enough to let me took a picture of him showing his passion in cooking. A solid 9.5/10 from me as it's awesome experience and enjoyed my lunch very much (just had to wait for a while to enjoy it, as for the rest, just awesome!)

  • 5/5 Laura M. 2 years ago on Google
This is a great place for breakfast. I had the Benny eggs with extra bacon and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of bacon. Very good portion sized overall and plenty of gluten free options. Would highly recommend.

We were there this Sunday and got in the waiting line online, which is super practical, when we arrive our table was ready. Our server Kevin was very nice and made our stay really fun 🙂of course this is not the cheapest brunch spot in Amsterdam, but the food was so delicious and the coffee and mimosas were also super nice, so it is expensive but definitely worth it!!

  • 5/5 Lori A. 2 years ago on Google
One of the best places for breakfasts or brunches in Amsterdam! There’s usually a waiting list but they have a website telling you how many peoples were waiting before you and send you a message 10 minutes before your turn. Great experience, excellent service!

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price.
