4/5 Melissa Z. 3 years ago on Google
It
was
our
second
experience
at
a
plant
based
restaurant.
We
found
this
one
as
a
search
result
on
Google
and
as
soon
as
I
found
out
it
was
a
Japanese
and
Caribbean
fusion
restaurant,
I
simply
booked
a
table.
We
arrived
at
peak
time.
The
place
is
oddly
decorated,
not
to
my
taste,
small
and
a
little
cramped.
It
looks
a
little
shabby,
but
that
after
you
try
their
food,
it
doesn't
matter.
The
host
was
swamped
and
a
little
overwhelmed,
the
place
was
packed
with
only
1
table
(our
booked
table)
available.
We
sat
down
and
had
to
wait
a
good
15
minutes
by
the
time
there
was
time
to
tend
us.
Me
being
impatient,
I
was
close
to
loose
it.
But
luckily
we
received
a
warm
and
sincere
apology
from
our
young
host
and
that
was
enough
for
me
to
chill.
I
was
not
familiar
with
any
of
the
dishes,
so
between
the
help
of
Google
(where
would
I
be
without
it?)
and
the
menu,
I
follow
my
guts
(literally,
I
was
famished)
and
ordered
a
crispy
tempé
donburi
something...
Can't
remember
the
full
name,
in
fact
when
they
brought
it
out,
it
took
me
a
while
to
realise
that
it
was
my
dinner.
It
was
a
delightful
dish
of
crispy
tempeh
(the
tempeh
was
coated
in
breadcrumb),
served
on
top
of
some
tasty
Japanese
brown
rice,
salad
and
a
selection
of
raw
crispy
vegetables.
Seasoned
with
what
I
believe
to
be
vegan
mayonaise,
sriracha
sauce
and
something
else.
It
was
absolutely
fantastic.
Light,
fluffy,
crispy,
savoury,
spicy,
creamy.
I
could
have
eaten
more,
had
my
tummy
allowed
it.
The
prices
are
reasonable
and
be
prepared
to
go
sober.
No
booze
is
served
there!
Definitely
a
keeper!
