šŸ‘šŸ‘ This is a great choice for a quick lunch in Amsterdam. They have a large variety of sandwich options. We got a ham option and it was very good. The place is really small with not a lot of seating in the restaurant. We took our sandwiches to go and ate them in a park. I would recommend this place for... In existence for over half a century, t Kuyltje stands testimony to the speciality sandwiches so loved by the Dutch. With only 4 and a half by 5 metres of floor space, this must be one of Amsterdam's smallest sandwich shops, but it ranks among the very best. It's current owner is a former butcher, as reflected by the superb cuts of meat, as well as fish and cheese. The huge selection on offer is positively bewildering in such a small space, with its white tiled walls and marbled counter. It is a favourite breakfast and lunch haunt of busy executives and staff from the area's numerous offices, who compete for table space to enjoy their food while reading the daily news. Prior to ordering your selected filling, you are offered the choice of freshly baked rolls which can be either hard or soft, brown or white and with or without butter. There are classic Dutch favourites such as Tataar with onions, Half Om, Filet-Americain, warm smoked sausage, Pastrami and Zeeuws-Spek, various young and old Dutch cheeses and many different variations of bacon and roast beef combinations. There's no need for confusion as the friendly owner and his wife are more than happy to give a detailed explanation.

I have to admit I've never been inside. Always have to go there when I go to the gym. It looks like an old-fashioned butcher from the past, I like that.

A small and cozy bakery in the famous nine streets area. Bread is ok, the smoked ribeye is a bit too salty. The owner is very friendly Reasonable price for the location A good choice for a quick lunch on the way

Nice small family run deli. Big assortment of sandwiches like the pastrami, old cheese, mustard and pickles.. also you can try Dutch specialties like filet americain.

We popped by here for a quick sandwich and were so surprised by the quality of the meats and the friendliest shop keeper. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite, especially the pastrami :)

I cycled by on a day off after I saw this tip on a list of the best sandwich shops in Amsterdam. As small as the place is, the taste of the pastrami sandwich that left my mouth watering is just as great. Ate outside, almost took my bike, only to buy a second sandwich before I was on my way again.

During my short stay here this time I was only able to sample two broodje places, but I think this one is my favorite. Busy, locals coming in and out constantly. GREAT broodje, I loved the savory mix of mustard and mayo that really kicked my pastrami and cheese up a notch.

What a good sandwich! Make almost all the toppings yourself and you can taste it. If you are looking for a traditional sandwich shop, this is it.

šŸ‘šŸ‘ The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
