It has all the movie stars, singers, foot ball players, polticians and artists to experience. It also has amazing experience of making your hand was status experience with additional cost. Book the tickets in advance. It is crowded and you may not find entry on sopt. A good sovineer shop is there as well. It also provides a bar code to take photos, videos and you can get them printed in albums, key chains and get them digitally for extra cost. Its amazing experience overall.

Hi, everyone! It was a first time I ever visited such a museum. We have some waxworks in Tashkent’s Magic City, but here all models are awesome and you’ll really enjoy it. Also the museum offers you to take a pictures for you at several spots throughout the stages. But you’ll eventually have to pay for admission to download them. So my advise is to take a friend and have all pictures and videos by yourself. Here are a few photos from the museum, but there are much more waxworks like Rock Johnson, Madonna and other characters. So make up your mind and take a chance to visit such a mesmerizing place! Good luck!

Visited this place as a part of our new year celebrations 2012! The only Indian personality in the Amsterdam museum was Mahatma Gandhi. It hosts many eminent world personalities like Obama, JohnFKennedy, Lady gaga, Ronaldhino, Lance Armstrong and many others.

Very good tourist attraction. Some of the wax models were a bit suspect of their lookalikes but definitely worth a look around if you're visiting.

(Translated by Google) Undoubtedly one of the mandatory visits for those traveling through Amsterdam! Great experience! However, there could be some more famous faces. I recommend the visit from 5pm (off peak ticket) because at this time the museum is more empty and you can better enjoy everything it has to offer!

Good place to visit when coming to Amsterdam. However, the entry is not free. Located in Dam Square, it is also a beautiful building among the other ones and the birds. You might have to wait before entry especially with the covid measures.

Visited this place 2 years ago. This was my first ever visit to a wax museum so was amazed to see the life-like statues of many popular celebrities and marvel superheroes. Here you can pass time easily as there are many exhibits to explore. I would recommend this place only if you have ample time in your Amsterdam trip and also if wax museums fascinate you. Good place to get kids here. Overall, a nice experience.

Good place to visit when you have some spare time, however it wouldn’t be my first choice if you have just a weekend in Amsterdam. As for this place it is worth a try when you are familiar with the celebrities that are there and at least saw their performances or photos online. As for me the most interesting thing was the famous round window with the great view at the city. Book your tickets in advance and better come early to avoid crowd as the rooms there are not too spacious. Overall it was an okay experience

It's a very nice place with friendly staff. It's a bit over priced for the number of statues they have. I recommend going there in the early morning times when it's less crowded and the ticket prices are a bit cheaper as well.

Madame tussaud is a museum that needs to be visited in amsterdam. First of all there are interactive things to do that are simply so much fun and also there is the big round window that looks over the square. Not to mention you meet all your favorite celebrities and mainly taylor swift 😍 i do recommend for anyone there to visit it

(Translated by Google) Madame Tussauds (1761-1850) - a famous person around the world. Maria Tussaud owed her ability to create stunningly realistic wax figures to Dr. Philippe Curtis, whose mother Maria worked as a housekeeper. Curtis taught the future Madame Tussauds wax art, and in 1777 she managed to create the first figure of wax - Voltaire. In 1802, Maria moved to London, where she later opened her first permanent exhibition. Since then, ten more branches have been opened, and one of them has become Amsterdam, one of the most famous in the world. In 1997, a great idea appeared to create a museum of wax figures in Amsterdam. It was supposed to be similar to the London Museum, and be interesting to tourists. It took three years to implement the idea, and on January 12, 2000, the audience, who were lucky enough to attend the opening of the museum, was presented with an exhibition that included twenty figures. These figures formed the basis of the museum, located in the heart of the city, on the famous Dam Square. Today the museum's exposition includes more than forty figures, and their number is steadily growing. This monument of the Netherlands can hardly be called a museum - because there are many different effects. It is a combination of compositions, installations, sound and light effects. The Madame Tussauds is more like a show - really, when and where else will you be lucky enough to shake Barack Obama's hand or personally appreciate the most famous and expensive part of Jennifer Lopez? Work time: - Monday to Friday - 10:00 to 20:00 - Saturday-Sunday - 09:30 to 20:00 Ticket price: € 24.50 for adults or € 20.50 for children (up to 15 years). On the day of birth, upon presentation of supporting documents, the ticket price is € 12.50 (for both adults and children).

Last visit to Madame Tussaud was in London when i was a kid... now Amsterdam location... and in those two decades things sure evolved. They really put you in the center here and immerse you in the experience. Right at the start you already get a celebrity vibe. All rooms are very well adjusted for the wax statues with a good vibe both in music and decor. A real bonus is all the interactive elements. And lastly, ovviously, the statues are stunningly realistic

Such a wonderful experience! The wax figures are so realistic and showcased perfectly - great for photo taking which I took a ton! They don't have lockers or a place to store your belongings so definitely recommend to visit this place before you do any shopping in the strips. Hoping they add new wax figures before my next visit!

Nice place but it has its drawbacks. Too many people are let in at once and there are problems even to go from figure to figure, let alone take some nice photo as a souvenir. Worth a look but a bit disappointed. A big plus and many thanks to the kind and helpful staff. Greetings to the nice cashier from the souvenir shop. A very talkative and nice person.

Nice experience. A must visit attraction when you are in Amsterdam. Wax figures look very real. Visited on Thursday afternoon and it was not very crowded at that time. They have figures of famous celebrities , Royal family, star wars and marvels. Spend a good 2 hours inside the museum. There was a good ride inside which was also fabulous. Try to buy tickets in advance that will avoid any hassle there.

To be honest, I didn't expect anything special, but I was wrong. I really liked the museum: 1. The exhibits are made with high quality, 2. You can touch all the art, 3. there are a lot of photos of locations. It left a very nice vibe. I recommend it🔥

I just loved this place.. good for a 2 hour leisure ...better buy tickets online and not in counter as it is cheap in online by 5 Euros. Don't try to buy the hand wax model of ur own that is available for 10 euros...it didn't last long for 2 days ... All the pics u click u can take it for 20 euro as digital.. that's a good option...don't buy just a single photo which costs you 15 Euro... Have a good time guys... Cheers

The overall show is worth while, the crew is very polite and helpful. Just make sure to bring online purchased tickets or buy via card, for security of health reasons due to the Covid-19. After all it is wise and reccomended to protect the employees of the business and their families during these hard times. All you have to do is follow the path and enjoy the tour plus the spectacular light show and cool sound. The models are very accurate and the staff clothing is really hilarious. Enjoy and share your experience if you care.

(Translated by Google) Nice visit, emblematic character, and others a little less, too bad they miss someone more important, visit a little expensive I find 25euros, It would be worth more 20euros for me. The photos taken by the staff are paying, think about it, it avoids posing and slowing down your visit for nothing, because at the end of the visit you are told that they are paying, great for children otherwise they will love to be walk around here, but be careful not to touch the statues, even if it is super tempting. Despite the price and the number of characters, I really recommend this visit, you will leave with a smile 😊 (Original) Sympathique visite, de personnage emblématique, et d'autres un peu moins, dommage qu'ils manquent quelqu'un plus importants, visite un peu cher je trouve 25euros, Ca vaudrait plus 20euros pour moi. (Translated by Google) Very nice and clean museum! The staff was very nice to us and helpful, it's definitely bigger than it looks from the outside, so it's definitely worth a visit. Tickets purchased in advance online are cheaper; we were also able to easily order them via smartphone. Definitely worth a visit! (Original) Sehr schönes und sauberes Museum! A great experience if you are visiting first time. I had seen Madame Tussauds London, which is far better than AMS. Nevertheless you will enjoy the visit with family, friends. one of THE main attraction of AMSTERDAM. Enjoy

Nice place to visit, it wasn’t only the statues, but also the reactions of the visitors was really different and match contrasting . It’s very interesting to see how the visitors dealing with the statues in person. 😄 It was joyful.

They are not showing all figures in their collection or the collection is small. We could see Freddie Mercury for 2 seconds and then the lights were off. Maybe they lack space...

  • 4/5 Gert G. 2 years ago on Google
I was sceptical because ... They're just wax doll's I thought but was very pleasantly surprised. The detail and realism was great and it gives you a better grasp how tall/small (or skinny...?) Some superstars are. Not sure if everything is made in the real proportions 😁😉🤭. Nevertheless a good family activity! PS: do something about George Clooney, for me and ... my wife not a great copy 😕🤫

  • 5/5 Akash K. 2 years ago on Google
It is a must visit wax museum. The celebrities look so real and you feel that they about to talk next. The wax statues are detailed and in exact proportion as the celebrities are in their real.life. the museum.is well guided and I think there wasn't much crowding inside the complex. So one can see everything while maintaining social distance

Didn't plan to visit but was in the Dam Square with time on my hands, so why not? Glad I did visit. I love the interactive feel of the museum. It's way better than just standing around taking photos of wax figures. Enjoy the Van Gogh interactive painting, and the studio sing-a-long karoke booth was amazing - though I can't carry a tune. Very well done and worth the entry price. Also love that my interactive results were emailed to me.

Very nice venue, impressive how every scene is presented, not only the way figures but also the way they are displayed in their (partly interactive) environments. Special thanks to Portugal bourne Emelia at the wax dipping stand, where you can make a way cast of your hands. She is a student and was very good with our two sons and made an experimental print with two hands in a high-five position. See picture.

Very interactive museum! We really had a good time there! Such a good wax work in there!!!! It looked like real people!!!! Highly recommend :) The only thing i think they should improve its offer of lockers! We really had problems with carrying everything inside and no places to put our stuffs...

  • 5/5 Melek C. 2 years ago on Google
I loved it so much! I took around 100 pictures and videos... oops... but honestly i had alot of fun. there were fun interactive activities, like a catwalk, music studio, dutch bar(with recorded karaoke) and more and at the end you can get the recording files sent to your email. also a great variety of superstars, from famous actors, singers and sports players to famous painters and world leaders! some figures actually looked identical like my personal favorite loki! i would recommend going with someone to share the experience. i could see it getting busy but luckily i had no waiting time. i only had positive memories to take back home :) i was there for about 1 and a half hour. definitely worth the 20 something euros :)

Famous enough, won't insist upon it. A very nice place with interesting stages for all enthusiasts. Tickets are a bit cheaper (around 7€/adult) if you order them at least a day before your visit.

  • 4/5 Tuba K. 2 years ago on Google
Some of the sculptures I wasn't interested. It was more of pop singers. I could not see any rock singers. It seems that it has some popular music structure. But overall it was a good experience

  • 2/5 Tom B. 2 years ago on Google
Would not advise anyone to go to Madame Tussauds, it's just not representative of Dutch or Amsterdam culture. Not interesting for kids either, apart from the Marvel part. Huge part of the sports section was closed, which was not mentioned anywhere beforehand, not to mention that the interactive experience at Rico Verhoeven wasn't working. In addition, the two experiences at NikkieTutorials were not working/breakable. Not going back.

  • 4/5 Iulia M. 2 years ago on Google
Nice, but not very impressive. Some of them were not 100% as in reality. Not so crowded during March. 25 EUR per person. Took 1.5h with f1 ride (5 eur)

  • 4/5 Jakub C. 1 year ago on Google
Great place full of familiar faces but unfortunately very small. Our tour took about one hour and it was hard to find more things to do. Maybe cause there was no people in the queue? Still for that price it should be much longer nonetheless worth visiting if you are a fan. But is one time activity not worth to go back

  • 5/5 Harneet K. 1 year ago on Google
If you have never done this - this is an experience in itself Theses statues are allmost like real, for some I had to see them 2-3 times to ensure it was not real. We booked the tickets online a day before and reached before time. It's recommended to reach 5 minutes earlier. The picture bundle is 20 euros with digital copies + 4 prints. You could choose to have it, if you want. The tour finished quite quickly to be honest, I wish it was a bit more.

We had so much fun in Madame Tussauds with the all the celebrities. It's astonishing how realistic they look and a bit creepy! Great fun to take photos with different poses and you will be surprised at the actual height of some of the celebrities as they also look bigger on screen!

What a great day at Madame Tussaud's in Amsterdam. We Loved every moment. Staff are the best. Super friendly and helpful. You can even get a nice glass of Heineken at the bar there! Put MT- Amsterdam on your must do list! X

25€ for adults. Not worth the price. The services by the staffs to help in lifting the baby strollers are amazing. Hence, i cannot blame their elevator facilities 🤣

  • 4/5 Xander C. 1 year ago on Google
Very cool and an immersive experience. Just pricey for the short time spent. Also ensure you take as many photos as possible on your ticket so you can download them for free and not pay for stuff at the end.

  • 4/5 Amjaad A. 1 year ago on Google
We had so much fun. However some people cut lines and it is so disrespectful as staff are ignoring it. Also don’t wear anything green.. doing so may result in issues when your photos are initially processed. Unfortunately we didn’t know that and all our pictures are ruined and transparent 🥲

Loved the vibe the best i could see in Amsterdam with family..... Really enjoyable place..... Nice to hangout over there... Plus the pictures were awesome with loads of celebrities over there.... From every field... Even some eating thing is there...

Well themed presentation for each idol. You feel you are in a new world for the next hour. Also they give some memories as snap and video over email. I enjoyed it a lot.

Not all the figures are looking realistic however was very surprised how interactive is the museum. Good place to have fun! Was not crowded at all (went on Friday around 2pm). Check the exposition, almost everywhere you can be part of it: take a dress of Marilyn Monroe and stand next to her, similar with Charlie Chaplin, type your name next to Virgil van Dijk, etc.

I had a lot of fun. Like they're real. It takes at least an hour to tour. You can get your hand waxed as a souvenir. Available on site. I recommend this place.

This place was great, enjoyed seeing my first wax museum, I was told there would be some rap legends there but failed to see any. But it was still great for all the famous people who were there.

A short pleasure. The wax museum and all the shown personalities are nice to see. We took 30 minutes and have now some nice pictures, however pricewise quite expensive, when travelling with a family. One of the various museums in Amsterdam is for me preferable.

I loved it, though I was not familiar with all the celebrities or cartoon characters it was very fun and I really enjoyed it. Gives us a chance to take pics with some extra properties provided by the team. Always better to book tickets online to avoid queue.

Fully enjoyed the MT experience! The entrance went quick and nicely, seen as we had already gotten our tickets beforehand. Upon entering we were greeted by kind staff and then we saw all the models, which looked great! Overal great service and a fun experience. Surely recommend!

I visited the museum on Saturday with my family. It was a really good and enjoyable experience. However, the biggest issue was the absence of a wardrobe. This is a place where people come to see celebrities and take lots of photos, so it was annoying for us to carry all our clothes by hand. Additionally, it was hot inside. I bet that the museum administration is aware of the problem, but there seems to be indifference and unwillingness to address it. So for us the whole wonderful experience was a bit spoiled by the lack of wardrobe 😞

The lifelike wax figures, ranging from celebrities to historical personalities, are impressive. It's not a must-see in my opinion, but the photos taken are a nice keepsake. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lively.
