What
a
wonderful
place
Amsterdam
is
and
the
complete
opposite
can
be
said
for
this
hotel.
We
had
starting
travelling
at
1am,
spent
most
of
the
day
in
the
city
and
were
looking
forward
to
just
getting
to
bed.
Upon
arrival
(7pm)
the
receptionist
let
us
know
that
there
was
an
issue
with
receiving
bedding
so
our
room
was
ready
but
the
bed
was
unmade.
We
had
to
go
down
twice
to
request
for
it
to
be
made,
which
was
finally
done
at
9.30pm.
The
extra
'housekeeping'
to
hurry
getting
the
rooms
ready
after
the
late
bedding
order
consisted
of
one
man
sweating
profusely
to
try
and
change
the
bedsheets
of
every
room
in
the
hotel.
On
top
of
this,
the
bedding
we
did
get
had
multiple
red
(blood?)
stains
on
it.
We
gave
up
hope
of
getting
fresh
bedding
that
night,
but
requested
it
to
be
changed
when
the
room
was
cleaned
in
the
morning.
The
room
was
not
cleaned
and
the
sheets
were
not
changed.
When
we
returned
in
the
evening
and
requested
new
sheets
(again)
the
receptionist
was
unable
to
provide
us
with
any.
We
were
at
a
point
were
if
XO
had
even
given
us
fresh,
unstained
sheets
to
put
on
the
bed
we
would
have
happily
made
them
ourselves.
The
staff
were
polite
and
apologetic
and
offered
breakfast
for
one
of
the
mornings
of
our
3
night
stay,
but
the
cleanliness
and
upkeep
of
the
room
were
not
up
to
the
standard
we
paid
for,
with
multiple
stains,
dust,
fingerprints
from
previous
guests,
uncleaned
sides,
Silverfish
bugs
in
the
bathroom.
