Inntel Hotels Amsterdam is a gem of a hotel situated in the heart of the city, in close proximity to all the major attractions. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this hotel is a perfect choice for a comfortable and convenient stay. The hotel seems to be recently opened or renovated, as everything appeared fresh and new during my stay. Despite the rooms not being very spacious, they are well-appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and impeccably maintained. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning and tidying up the room each day, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free stay. The reception staff were friendly, efficient, and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. I appreciated their professionalism and willingness to accommodate my needs during my stay. All in all, I highly recommend Inntel Hotels Amsterdam for anyone looking for a quality hotel experience in the heart of the city. It's the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and affordability.

I was hesitant to want to keep my booking with this hotel after reading some of the reviews about loud people or uncomfortable beds. I ended up having a wonderful stay at the Inntel Hotel Amsterdam Center. The rooms are on the smaller side, AC is European AC, the bathroom does not have a true door so you must really like your partner to share this room. It is just a sliding glass door. Bed was comfy, so grateful for a refrigerator in the room. The view was on the inside, so no view of the city, but by the elevator there is a fabulous view of the city. Never had breakfast there, bar was closed during duration of stay. When I asked the front desk via email before coming for a early check in due to arriving an hour before check in, Melissa van Zonneveld suggested we buy the night before if we wanted to check in early. Obviously not wanting to buy a night for an hour of access after traveling 10+ hours, we were so happy to find the guys at the front desk were so accommodating and sweet. They let us up with no issues. The best part of this hotel is the location. You are a close walk to everything. Would stay again.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in a Spa room. The location is perfect - 5-10 min away from basically everything. The room was clean and spacious. The whirlpool bath was really worth the money. There is also a smart TV which is very convenient if you are coming from another country or you want to play some music. The bathroom amenities are good but the lighting is not optimal. There is also a nice small gym. There is a vending machine on the second floor so there is no need to look for a shop for a midnight snack. The breakfast was OK - not the best variety but sufficient. The one drawback that was disappointing came from the cleaning staff - the second time when they changed the sheets we noticed a very unpleasant smell and asked them to change them again the next day but the cleaning lady we spoke to said that if they are not dirty, they won’t change them. I asked again and she said OK but then we noticed they didn’t change them anyway. I understand that the hotel is conscious about climate and sustainability which is admirable but I think there should be exceptions for cases like this.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 night. Booked the best room in the hotel. As described on the website “ The Monumental Suite is unique in its kind. The penthouse with its rustic and authentic look conveys the Amsterdam feeling completely “ . Firstly the room we got was on the 3rd floor of this 5 floor hotel. Secondly as per the website “ this room has a real eye-catcher in the ridge of the room, the antique pulley of the old canal house “ our room most certainly did not have this. When we originally checked in the reception staff were talking among themselves as if there was an issue with our room but didn’t say anything. The gentleman who was checking us in kept saying it was the “ junior suite “ not the monumental suite “ when I questioned him he said it was just another name for it. When I asked to speak to the manager that I got the wrong room she was absolutely appealingly rude. She was condescending, arrogant and disrespectful. She was in no way helpful or offered us anything in the way of an apology. I really hope anyone booking here reads this and changes their mind because if you have an issue it won’t be resolved. We asked for a refund and we were told to contact our travel agent we booked through. We booked via the hotel website. We were treated disgusting and for the money we paid I expect the a higher manger to get in touch to offer a refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNTIL THS MATTER IS RESOLVED!!

BE CAREFUL, HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING A DIFFERENT HOTEL. We had some cash and other things stolen by the staff. Hotel manager doesn’t do anything about it! Tried to hold us off until we were departing Amsterdam but eventually said they can’t do anything about it. We filed a police report but fly out tomorrow so really no accountability!

Wonderful 4-star hotel right in the middle of the bustling shopping district. 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal, everything else in the city is also super accessible by tram or walking. The hotel is located on a busy street with lots of eating options nearby, can get a bit crowded and rowdy though especially at night. Rooms are spacious and tidy. The breakfast buffet is quite sumptuous and luxurious. They also have a wellness corner with sauna and a steam room which we quite enjoyed. Check in and check out was quite smooth and the staff are courteous. Would definitely stay there again when in Amsterdam.

Nice hotel with close proximity to Central Station & the shopping districts around the area. About 10-20mins walk to attractions around town. Nice room with good Air-conditioning and amenities, with a nice breakfast with a decent spread (Cold Cuts, Cheeses, Pastries, Bacon, Eggs, Fruits & etc). However, Wifi around the hotel has a little issue and is a little slow, other than that, will stay again

Very nice Hotel and super nice staff. I would recommend to new couples to see what door the bathroom has.. ours was just a slide door and you could hear everything going in there...

Stayed here over New Year's Eve for 3 nights. Hotel staff weren't particularly friendly but we was allowed to check in an hour or so early which was nice. The main attraction to this hotel was the location - couldn't get better! Room was clean and modern. The bathroom is okay - the shower is not seperated from the bathroom which meant the floor was constantly wet which isn't the best layout in my opinion. There is no full length mirror in the room or bathroom which is unusual. The only mirror available is chest height and upwards in the wet bathroom - isn't ideal but not a big deal - just something to note, if you want to look at your outfit before going out, you cant! I'd sugget bringing a mirror if you are wanting to do makeup/hair etc in the room. The bar was shut the full time of our stay - would have been nice to have a drink in the hotel. We paid 10 euros to check out later - nice option to have. Overall, pleasant stay and I would return due to the location

Broken shower in spa-room, not as pet-friendly as marketed! The hotel is holding itself out as pet-friendly. However, it is not allowed to 1) bring dogs into the breakfast room and 2) to leave the dog alone in the room. As this does not really go well together if you have booked your stay including breakfast, we asked whether it is possible to arrange for a table outside of the breakfast room. It is not possible! Hard to argue that this is a pet-friendly setup... We booked the most expensive room, a spa-room, including a sauna and a big bathtub for two nights. However, the rainfall-shower did not work at all and the alternative shower head could not be adjusted in height because the holding device has been broken. We informed the staff about this situation that does not goes well with a spa-room. Same result as above, they did not do anything about it. We had to ask a second time to be informed at all about the fact that they do not plan to do anything about it. Poor level of service for the price we paid.

A nice hotel in a good location, very friendly employees, 5 minute walk from Centraal Station, excellent breakfast. But for the love of all that is holy, please get rid of the motion detectors for the bathroom lights. If I didn't want to get blasted with bright lights when I got up in the middle of the night to use the toilet, I had to pull the key card from the slot for electric, which resulted in not being able to charge a phone or use the climate control.

Horrible hotel - stay far away from this place. The management is dishonest. There are a lot of better hotels to stay at in Amsterdam to enjoy your stay. If i could give this hotel a zero rating instead of one star I would. STAY FAR AWAY from this place

Expensive hotel. Friendly staff. Noisy rooms (fans, heating). Confusing layout to find your room. WAY too small breakfast restaurant - prepare to stand in a long queue to get in, and then feel fearful losing your spot again when you go to the buffet.

⛔️ NOT WORTH THE MONEY ⛔️ ❌Clean but smell egg . ❌Staff were rude. ❌Additional fees upon arrival. ❌Additional fees in the second day or you have to leave. ❌Privacy is non-existent: cleaning opens the door and enters ✅The only good thing is the location . I booked and paid in advance through AGODA .

Wow for the price and location this place is amazing. The staff also are wonderful. Amanda was top notch every interaction. We chose to do the wellness room and it was bomb! We did saunas (both dry and steam) plus cold showers in between. So nice. And it was well managed via reservation and you had the space to yourself for 1 hr. We brought our dog who was very welcomed with treats! Room was great, bed was super comfy and everything we needed. Only issue for me was the frosted glass door to the bathroom. I’m not a fan of that. I like privacy. At least it was a door. I’ve seen worse. Overall would happily stay here again.

We now went twice to Inntel Hotel Amsterdam. Both times we had the suite. The hotel looks really modern. The whole staff is really friendly and the rooms are clean. I just have a couple little things I would love to get fixed. 1. The sauna has to get insulated better. There is a small space on the side ad well as on the bottom, for this reason the sauna takes quite a while to heat up and the hot are goes out really fast. 2. Same goes for the toilet which could be insulated better to prevent"noises". 3. The whirlpool is awesome but for some reason it's really hard to stop or start the whirlpool function. Still would recommend the hotel! It's just the cherry on top

Highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect! Anyone visiting should consider this hotel. The jacuzzi in the room was also a great feature! Overall it was a great experience with friendly staff.

Loved this hotel. Great location - right in the center of everything but somehow on a quiet street. Staff was very accommodating, breakfast buffet was REMARKABLY satisfying. Bonus points for having King size beds!

Great ratio quality price. We found a deal for this hotel and it was amazing. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Best thing about the hotel is location. Huge advantage to be in the city center with easy access to the hotel. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety. And on top of everything staff was extremely nice with our little 1,5 year old baby girl (she even received a small gift during breakfast one day). I would definitely come back.

One of the worst experience, room was lovely but not clean, had used ash tray. I was given 30 minutes extra without charge to check out but as I was in the queue to get served by the receptionist I got late 2-3 minutes maximum and as explained to them and as the guy saw me standing in the queue he charged me around £100 for being late 2-3 minutes but overall he charged me for being late 33minutes but luckily my wife had the receptionist background voice of him saying 30 minutes extra without charge. The receptionist was so rude and had me and my wife devastated and shattered into pieces Manager was racist as she did want to even hear me and also said make sure your type of people don’t come back, With proof that was given, rudely spoken, many people just watched as getting bullied upon but were on our side but still charged me Please don’t visit these racist people, who judge you by your looks, make you feel so uncomfortable. I visited this place about 2 months ago and I still remember, I come back after 2 months just remembering how bad the experience was and in the middle of the night about 4 am I write this review

The rooms are OK and look like a hostel room converted into a hotel but the LOCATION is what cannot be beaten. It is so well located that every attraction and tour of the city is about 7-30 mins walk. The tramp station is right in front of the hotel which takes you around that city and makes things more convenient.

Brilliant hotel for the price. Staff were friendly and hotel clean and modern. Close to train station and square. The rooms were quiet and the gym and wellness suite were immaculate!

Can't wish for a better location. Very impressed with how clean and well arranged the room was (wellness room with sauna). Honestly, not sure why some people complain about the breakfast, especially given the current circumstances around Covid. Will definitely visit again!

I've been staying here since 2009 when it was a Golden Tulip, before becoming Inntel. Probably stayed well over 50 times from single nights to all week stays. Mostly, very fortunate through work & more recently pleasure / personal. I've stayed in the standard rooms & also been lucky enough to be upgraded in the plush rooms. The hotel is central to everything going on & a few minutes walk to Central Station, Damrak, Palace, etc., but in a small side street so quiet & away from the main beat. Inntel are continually investing & revamping the rooms & decor with modern good quality furnishings & fittings. It shows. The buffet breakfast is very good with lots of variety and choice. Its good value for a solid start to the day. The staff are genuinely brilliant, very helpful & it's lovely to still see familiar & friendly faces over the years. So the retention, low turnover, positivity & wellbeing of the staff is a credit to the hotel & notable! I'm not a fan of the big commercial copy paste hotel chains devoid of character and although the Inntel Amsterdam Centre is sizeable, it has individuality & character, which with the staff make it feel homely & welcoming. Which is exactly what you want with you travel frequently. Dank u wel for all your years of consistent hospitality & exemplary service.

I stayed here on a recent visit, great proximity to all things in Central, which was perfect. Unfortunately aspects of the hotel were a let down, TV not working properly, broken remote. I requested a later check out on my last day, only to be called twice about checking out in the morning and then having two members of staff entering the room, despite confirmation of a later checkout. I mentioned this to the receptionist however was told there was nothing he could do about it.

The minor issue only for the room. Shower place was narrow, no glasses for you (replace by plastic cup). Other things were superb. Breakfast buffet was amazing, the Hotel Team were very kind and warm, location was amazingly safe and sound (police station just 30 steps from hotel). Surely will stay agai if revisit Amsterdaam.

Friendly staff who leave you alone. Clean rooms. Walls are a little thin for the price. Beds were not comfortable at all so it's down to a three. But not a bad stay overall.

  • 4/5 Michelle S. 6 months ago on Google
Room great. I was disappointed with tea and coffee in the room. There is a fridge, so milk could have been provided. Pump soap dispensers only so need your own toiletries. Do an early breakfast as nothing was left or replaced at the late sitting which seems unfair as they ask you to choose a sitting. Excellent location to get to everywhere. What let it down was all the rubbish piled up upside.

  • 5/5 Noor W. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent location next to the Central station, canal cruises, retail shopping and restaurants (Damrak street). The hotel is clean, has well sized rooms, very good breakfast and all fresh. Booked city double room and was enough for us, probably just missing a long mirror but otherwise all good. Will definitely return to this hotel for our next trip to Amsterdam.

  • 3/5 Joel G. 6 months ago on Google
The best things about this hotel are location near the main train station and an excellent buffet breakfast. I feel a bit cheated though, as I reserved a suite with sauna and hot tub and it was not a suite, only a smallish room. There wasn't even a traditional bathroom, the wash basin was in the bed area. There was an excellent stall shower, an OK sauna and a really nice hot tub with plenty of towels. On the negative side, there were no facial tissues and a glass door on the small toilet room that illuminated the bedroom area even when closed. Not good when one gets up in the middle of the night and the other wants to sleep.

This was an amazing hotel for the price. Service was great. Room was great and location was central to everything and so close to the metro right outside. Would stay here again

  • 2/5 A G. 5 months ago on Google
The amenities are very poor. Cheap paper cups in room, no coffee machines, no hair conditioner and tiny, tiny gym. Shower drain was clogged. Probably the least nice 4 star hotel I've stayed at. Great location though, hence why it gets 2 stars.

  • 5/5 Joshua L. 5 months ago on Google
I moved to this hotel after a not so great experience at a cheaper hotel. The location is perfect. 2 blocks from the red light district, surrounded by restaurants and bars, and right next to the train lines. Central Station is maybe a 5 min walk. The rooms were clean and spacious, the sauna and gym were a nice touch and I loved being able to have breakfast right here when needed. Housekeeping was warm and friendly as well. My only complaint was the gym which had a poor variety of machines, the screen on the weight machine didn't even work (whatever it was for). The free weights were very light and not enough for even a moderate gym person like myself. Instead I had to get creative with the weight machine.

Great hotel to stay at in Amsterdam. It is located between the Dam Square and the central station which is a walking distance to the most of Amsterdam attractions. A mini fridge and AC are available in every room. Clean and cozy. Costs 162€ per night for a City Twin room (super sale offer price) Highly recommended

Amazing Hotel, Great hospitality & the staff was awesome. The Rooms was massive especially the ones with a jacuzzi / sauna inside (Recommend). You’re not allowed to smoke inside your room but the hotel allows you to leave any hour of the day what is great. You’re also right in the centre of Amsterdam within walking distance of a lot of museums, transport hubs, coffee shops, food & more.

Very nice hotel. Very clean with friendly staff. Really good communication before the stay began. Very helpful as I arrived in Amsterdam a few hours before check in and they offered use of there luggage room to help me out.

We had the most amazing stay! Would highly recommend and we would go back again. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was spotless. The only con if even was we stayed in the wellness suite and there is no windows or view. But the jacuzzi and sauna are stunning. Very central would highly recommend

I had a really great stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were updated and chic- just as pictured on the website. They were also extremely clean, which was great. The hotel is located right in the heart of centraal area, so it's within walking distance to the main train station and all of the city's attractions. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

My husband and I stayed here for the Tulip Festival in April 2022. The location is great and walkable to many tourist attractions. We drove to Amsterdam and there is a convenient parking garage right across the street from the hotel. The rooms are clean and the bed is spacious. Nice bathroom. We have another trip in January and have booked this hotel again. Amsterdam is expensive when it comes to hotels. We have stayed in cheaper places but this is by far the nicest accommodation for your money in the area. We did not book a room with a bathtub.
