We
stayed
for
3
nights
in
a
patio
suite
here
and
overall
had
a
really
nice
stay.
It's
walkable
within
about
20mins
from
the
central
station
and
whilst
it's
close
to
many
of
the
main
visitor
attractions,
it's
in
a
slightly
quieter
location
which
gives
it
a
relaxed
feel.
We
walked
to
places
like
the
Rijksmuseum
and
maritime
museum.
We
were
given
champagne
on
arrival
and
the
staff
were
friendly
and
professional
throughout
our
stay.
The
suite
itself
was
very
nice
and
pretty
spacious.
We
had
an
outside
patio
area
but
used
this
very
little.
Firstly
it
was
a
little
rainy
during
our
stay,
but
also
the
outside
area
was
small
and
didn't
feel
particularly
relaxing
when
we
could
smell
guests
in
the
next
room
smoking
on
their
patio.
It
was
useful
to
have
a
little
kitchen
area
and
fridge
and
it
was
all
very
clean.
There
is
a
supermarket
five
minutes
walk
away
to
buy
milk
and
breakfast
things.
There
were
a
few
points
for
improvement.
This
is
an
expensive
luxury
hotel
and
I
would've
expected
some
sort
of
welcome
biscuit/cake/fruit
in
the
room
on
arrival
rather
than
just
what
was
in
the
mini-bar.
Secondly,
filtered
water
was
provided
in
a
bottle
on
the
first
night
but
a
little
card
was
left
stating
that
any
further
"Luxury
water"
refills
were
charged
at
€4.95.
This
is
an
absolute
basic
I'd
expect
for
free
at
a
hotel
of
this
price
and
quality
and
was
frankly
just
a
bit
strange
to
see!
The
only
other
point
was
that
the
communal
areas
were
sometimes
a
bit
too
peaceful
-
if
you
are
looking
for
a
more
lively/vibrant
bar
area
then
this
perhaps
isn't
the
best
choice.
More
of
a
peaceful
and
calm
atmosphere.
