I
regret
to
say
that
my
recent
stay
at
the
Andaz
Amsterdam
fell
far
short
of
my
expectations,
and
I
feel
it
is
important
to
share
my
experience
for
the
benefit
of
other
travelers.
While
the
hotel's
location
is
undoubtedly
excellent
and
it
has
a
unique
ambiance,
the
issues
I
encountered
during
my
stay
left
me
deeply
disappointed.
Firstly,
the
rooms
barely
had
functional
air
conditioning,
which
was
particularly
uncomfortable
during
my
stay.
Despite
being
informed
that
everything
in
the
fridge
was
"free,"
I
found
only
a
couple
of
bottles
of
water
and
a
single
coke,
which
was
frankly
quite
embarrassing.
My
dining
experience
at
the
hotel
was
equally
disheartening.
As
a
guest,
I
expected
to
have
the
option
to
dine
in
the
dining
room.
To
my
surprise,
I
was
denied
access.
When
I
attempted
to
order
food
and
eat
in
the
lobby,
I
was
told
that
this
wasn't
allowed
either.
Instead,
I
was
forced
to
order
exclusively
from
the
hotel's
limited
menu
at
9
PM.
Furthermore,
despite
the
hotel
being
nearly
empty
at
that
hour,
I
was
instructed
to
eat
at
the
bar
area,
which
made
little
sense
and
felt
unnecessarily
rigid.
Considering
the
price
I
paid
for
my
stay,
I
found
these
limitations
and
the
lack
of
cooperation
in
accommodating
basic
requests
highly
unsatisfactory.
Unfortunately,
I
cannot
recommend
this
accommodation
to
fellow
travelers,
especially
those
who
value
a
comfortable
stay
and
tourist-friendly
service.
Additionally,
the
fact
that
the
air
conditioning
was
ineffective
in
all
the
rooms
during
my
stay
was
a
significant
drawback.
For
these
reasons,
I
would
advise
others
to
explore
alternative
options
when
visiting
Amsterdam.
