Intersail hostel is located near the Nemo museum, where is easily available to reach by taking public transportation. The host is very hospitable, and always be willing to help. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. In the public dining area, there are abundant board games which are free to borrow. You can have a lot of fun with friends or family over there.

This was a great little hostel on the water, cabins are pretty small, but when you're away on holiday, you're not there to sit in or sleep. You out traveling and exploring, especially Amsterdam, a sight seeing, art viewing, museum going holiday. And the breakfast is a great start to the day included.

Super nice owners, the location is perfect, and the boat has a great terrace. Clean showers and toilets. However the rooms are tiny tiny tiny. In the 4 person rooms you cannot sit up in the lower bed. You have to organize logistics if more than one person is moving because there is little space between the beds. The window is tiny so the moisture adds up if you keep a towel in the room. It's a cool experience for a day or two, but would be too inconvenient for me for a longer stay. (2 person rooms might be better, I don't know.)

let start with the essential ! Tommy was one of the greatest host you can expect to get in Amsterdam ! helpfull, explaining quietly everything so there is no bad surprise on the boat ! he was also very rich in knowledge about almost everything !!! amazing experience knowing that the 4 last day was heavy rain and that each time we need to quit the boat, was an epic experience ! but knowing that you come back to this amazing sharing space, with fridge with the local and the foreign beer, vine and other at un unbeatable price will definitly be the + that goes with a poker night or monopoly ! this experience will never had taken place in an hotel or Rbnb. of cours Hostel are attractive for the fair price, but also for the community you will meet ! we were 4, we were happy boi and we loved it! about the place, as mention left and right, the room are not the place your'e going to spend the day, but for napping and sleeping, more than enough ! thank's again Tommy for your time, your recommendations, and helping me fixing my shoe ! hope to come back and see you soon !

The most unique hostel experience I’ve ever had! We were three friends staying in a 4-bed room, which ended up being perfect for us. Of course, its a small cabin, but we loved the novelty of staying on a boat. Very centrally located and honestly one of the most affordable accommodations in Amsterdam! Highly, highly recommend

Lovely little hostel tucked away in a quiet area. The lady who managed the hostel was very friendly and helpful.

This boat is a unique place in Amsterdam to try a different and great experience to enjoy the city. The rooms are smalls but very comfortable and cleans, the boat doesn't move at all so there's no problem for sleeping, and we weren't cold during the night. The hosts are very kind and accomodables and help to install a great ambiance in the boat. Particular mention for the great quality of the homemade breakfast. The emplacement is very practical, just a ten minutes walk from center, and it's not difficult to find. Excellent address that i'd recommend for anyone who wants to spend a few days in Amsterdam.

Stayed here while having a two day conference in Amsterdam. This was such a good place to stay. Very informal, friendly people and most of all: so much more fun to stay than a regular hotel.

This was a really cool experience in a crazy place. I enjoy the small cozy atmosphere of the boat. Cheap rates, good free breakfast and in a good location. If going for a budget trip and don’t mind a little walking, this is the place for you

Amazing place! Very cosy atmosphere. Breakfast is included in a price. You can take use towels as well for free. Owner is a very smiling and nice person as all the stuff on a board, always ready to help you. We checked in late at night (11+pm). In this case you'll get a code of the locker on a boat and keys of you room inside in a main room, with a note. (We didn't even notice them first, so look around to find them) Two showers for all the 10 rooms, clean and with hot water. (There is a sink in a room), two toilets, washing machines. There are also lots of board games and books. I highly recommend this place!

Had my doubts when a friend booked this for us but it was fantastic. Tommy was an amazing host, the boat didn't move at all, we weren't cold despite it being winter and they really went all out with breakfast. I can't recommend highly enough. FIVE STARS!

Perfect and very kind staff, good breakfast. We were provided with instructions for self check-in because of our late arrival. Everything is clean, there's a hot water even in each room. So for a boat the service is awesome! I recommend! 4 stars only because there's too arrow rooms but evident for a boat)

The hostel was a unique way of staying in Amsterdam. It was located in the middle of Amsterdam which made it easy to get around and no public transport were needed. The rooms were small but there was a very cozy common room to hang out in the evenings with a lot of board games and a self-serve bar where you could buy sodas, beers, coffe and snacks. The host was very helpful and showed some good restaurants (we got some delicious chinese food) and stores based on our interests. When we first met the host he was also wearing a t-shirt from my favorite anime, so I knew it would be a good stay.

I had a wonderful time here! Lovely boat, very nice people who are here to help at all times, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. Personally I loved the cozy bunkbeds, but make sure it's what you are looking for! The rooms are compact, but there's lots of common area space and even chairs and tables on deck for good weather. You will probably meet and get to know all the other travellers staying in, and there are a lot of games and books on bord for bad weather days. I got some good recommendations also from the staff for places to go! Will definitely come back!
