Hotel Omega definitely isn't perfect - there's some details that can be overlooked like a curtain that doesn't fully close or a toilet paper holder that can't hold toilet paper. However, it's run by a lovely family that's incredibly hospitable, the service is A1, and it has a lot of charm with its colorful and playful interiors. The location is also fantastic: just far enough from the city center that it's nice and quiet but also close enough that it's about 15 minutes by tram and you can get anywhere you need to be with relative ease. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Hotel Omega for anyone considering a trip to Amsterdam. It's a fantastic value for the cost.

We stayed in a triple room for 5 nights. Our room overlooked the church. This had no impact on us at all.(a previous review was rude and scathing) The hotel was clean and well presented. The room was cleaned every day and new towels provided. All of the staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice. It was situated in a quiet street with some great restaurants and eateries very near. 5 minute walk to Museumplein and the tram network. We would be very happy to stay at Hotel Omega on our next visit to Amsterdam.

It is just an average hotel. We got it booked by our agent during the Europe trip. The rooms are small and were cozy as we visited during the winters. The staff is cooperative and will help you. The breakfast they serve is upto the mark. The advantage of booking this hotel is that it is in the center of the city and you'll have access to almost all the parts of the city.

Such a nice place with good service. And the rooms! Rooms are really warm, clean and spacious. I'm pretty sure I never slept on so comfortable bed. And before you even ask, don't worry, there are no bed bugs here. The location is also great. Quiet neighbourhood. If you like walking, like I do, everything is within a reach by foot. Even a supermarket. Old town is close, but still far away enough so it doesn't bother. Also the trams are really close if you don't feel like walking.

The hotel can be reasonably priced and the rooms are typical Dutch. Don't try and compare them to Premier Inn because they don't, but ours was comfortable and cleaned with fresh towels every day. The breakfast was typical Dutch as well, but it was not as well serviced as other Amsterdam hotels I have stayed in. Still a good place to stay.

We've had our sheets and towels changed everyday. It's modest and practical, the hairdryer in our room didn't work and they supplied a replacement promptly. Basic breakfast and outdoor yard with seating, accessible 24 hours.

We have just booked out of Hotel Omega this morning after a two-night stay, during which time we found every aspect of the hotel satisfactory. The staff were so friendly and helpful and even supplied us with a kettle when I asked her. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the sheet were changed daily. The beds and pillows were so comfy as well. The breakfast was also adequate for our needs. The buses and trams were only around the corner, and there was also lovely restaurants closely. We will definitely be returning to Hotel Omega as it far exceeded our expectations and we honestly couldn't fault a thing there. Breda -- Ireland

Good value for money, room was really small compared to what I am used too, but what it lacks in size makes up in location. Very close to Museumplein-3min walk. The room was clean and warm, but old furniture, reminded me of student dorms back home in Eastern Europe. Very nice breakfast, no restaurant though, except for Keyzer, across the street. Big downside for me was lack of parking. If you get lucky, you can find a spot around the hotel, but no guarantee. Girls at the reception were very nice and friendly.

Not the best hotel, quite dirty and no kettle or drink making equipment in the room, breakfast is mediocre, window has been nailed shut and our friends room has a balcony but the door wont close, their chairs are ripped and there's damp/mould on the walls and stains on the curtains. Also not very central although that's on part our fault for not checking it was closer to local attractions.

Rooms were basic Breakfast was basic Window Would not shut. So was cold! And very noisy! The church bells were amusing at 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 -10 through the night and the morning! Did ask for a room change as got 2 single beds and the room was not big enough to put together! There was no bar! Toaster machine takes 15 mins for it to be lightly brOwn! And they have no beans! But that’s bout it !

😐 It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night. Also noisy because of the "cigarette smokers". There are no rules and regulations - or if t...
