Check
in
was
absolutely
frustrating.
This
was
an
on
the
spot,
last
resort
booking,
as
our
original
hotel
cancelled
our
reservation,
and
weren't
notified
until
we
arrived.
The
check
in
for
this
hotel
is
in
a
different
building,
across
the
river
at
the
Hotel
Iris.
So
if
you're
using
google
maps
to
navigate,
enter
Hotel
Iris,
this
took
us
a
while
to
sort
out
as
when
we
arrived
at
Hotel
Floris.
There's
a
buzzer/intercom
at
the
door
with
a
piss
poor
map
with
no
instructions
or
clarity
that
check
is
at
a
different
location.
Every
time
we
buzzed
for
assistance
we
could
barely
make
out
what
she
was
saying
as
the
volume
was
really
low.
After
figuring
out
the
check
in
was
at
the
Hotel
Iris,
we
walked
over
with
our
back
packs
checked
in,
acquired
our
keys
and
headed
back
to
Hotel
Floris.
We
were
so
relieved
we
finally
got
a
room
to
put
our
bags
down
and
rest
our
heads,
then
we
realize
the
rooms
are
not
in
any
logical
order.
Apparently,
the
building
houses
rooms
for
3
different
hotels;
Hotel
Floris,
Hotel
Iris
and
Hotel
Marx.
So
we
walked
up
and
down
the
rickety,
steep,
and
narrow
stairs
until
we
found
our
assigned
room,
without
any
warning
or
instruction
from
reception.
Needless
to
say,
the
room
was
small
but
clean
and
modern.
The
bed
was
in
the
middle
of
the
room
which
it
made
harder
to
move
around.
Windows
are
big
and
they
open
which
was
nice
but
the
view
was
nothing
spectacular.
The
location
is
ok,
a
bit
away
from
the
hot
spots.
We
took
a
tram
to
get
to
the
square.
There's
a
Lidl
(supermarket)directly
in
front
of
the
hotel,
but
the
room
doesn't
offer
a
fridge
or
kettle,
so
it
was
quite
useless.
The
area
is
more
residential,
so
it's
less
busy.
I
can't
comment
on
the
staff,
as
the
only
interaction
we
had
was
with
reception
who
was
polite
but
not
helpful.
Internet
was
solid,
bed
was
comfy,
showers
were
hot
with
good
pressure.
Would
I
stay
here
again?
For
the
amount
we
paid
and
the
hassle
we
went
through,
i'll
consider
other
alternatives.
