Be careful. Avoid. They will try to scam you or confuse you to weasel you out of more money. Had a very strange and uncomfortable experience with the elderly bar lady. We ordered two drinks and pringles then paid upfront. We were handed the full order. When we were done and getting ready to leave, she asked us if we wanted to settle our bill? We said we had already paid and showed her the receipt which we still had, but she kept insisting and repeating that we definitely didn’t pay, even claiming that the receipt we showed her belonged to previous customers. What made her shut up was showing her the charge from our bank clearly stating the time and place (Hot or Not). That’s when she changed her tune, and explained that she meant we didn’t pay for the pringles only. (even though she was making a fuss about us not paying for a single thing just a moment ago) I asked her how we were supposed to know it wasn’t added to the order which was all placed at the same time. She unapologetically just said “No, it wasn’t added.” With such a cocky attitude. I kept asking her why she didn’t charge us for the pringles when she clearly gave us all 3 items after paying. What happened was obviously a failed scam. She left out the pringles on purpose knowing we wouldn’t check the bill and tried to hustle us out of more money. If we didn’t have the detailed bank charge she would’ve probably made a scene and called the cops. Which is a situation no visitor and paying customer wants to endure on their vacation or trip.

Had a fun time at this bar. The Nicaraguan guy behind the bar seemed to be enjoying himself as much as we were 😁. He let us take over the jukebox for a while. Good vibes from everyone here.

We popped in to use the restroom as one of my mates needed to go we waited outside for 10 min , we got concerned and entered to see are mate cornered by the bouncer and waitress screaming focing him to buy a drink as he used restrooms, we immediately got confronted to pay for him using the restroom. We were close to calling police but we didn't want it to ruin are night. Dont give these people a cent!!

Pro: Nice stuff, cute place, you can smoke inside, but only without tobacco! Contra: the music is very loud, you can hardly talk. Drinks are very expensive and there is not much choice. Don't even order Heineken, they dont have it.

Best place for music in Amsterdam great first night something unfortunately happened with my jumper don't think any bad intentions hopefully I get back in I remember saying couple that place was better than other place beside so hope get in next time

Extremelly bad service, the place was not full and yet the waitress was hurring us to choose our drinks and pay for them right after like she was trying to get rid of me and my two friends. She also used a very rude tone to say that if we already entered the place, we were obligated to consume one drink each person at least even though one of us didn't feel like drinking.

Easily one of the chilled out quiet with good music bars in Amsterdam city centre the staff Behind the Counter was very nice and extremely helpful. What I loved about this bar was the fact that smoking cannabis was allowed inside the premises and the staff was always happy to keep warm in as much as the smoke out. Smoking Tobacco Is Not Allowed. I will most definitely come back to this bar the next time I'm in Amsterdam. Really looking forward to it

This place is amazing and the bartenders are all fabulous. The people-watching from this place is THE BEST and the fact that you can drink and smoke in the same location is a huge plus. While I wish there were more seats that looked out onto the street, I cant "ding them" for being geographically challenged. This place is great and the people who run it are all wonderful (caveat: I did see one instance where one of the bartenders did get rude with a customer, but in her defense, the customer was ignorant, drunk, or stupid - not sure which - and the bartender was a LOT more compassionate and patient than I would have been). Get there early and get a window seat - it is WORTH IT!

Small and cosy ... drinks bit expensive but good chilled place where you can smoke and have a drink although they don't sell weed you can smoke your own and drink good cocktails

Such a nice cosy place to stop for a drink even a smoke, the lady was really lovley will deffo visit next time I'm back in Amsterdam!

Great night last night ,, Great talking with bar manager , had shots with her , she was so friendly , good manner and had a great fun . Place has great atmosphere, music is cool . Very very central to everything . Would love to go back . Many thanks for making our night lovely and special .❤️

Stopped off for one last drink and a smoke before heading back to the UK. Fantastic staff. Comfortable atmosphere.

First time I came here bar-tender said the Liverpool game would start soon but in the end it was a “technical problem “ so I had to find quickly another bar . Second time I came there to watch the game it was the same bar tender and I asked for white se sweet or sweet but she said they don’t have it . I asked if I want to taste before I order the staff they have but she said no . You can only buy . In the end it was the shi wine I ever had . She saw that I didn’t drink it and asked if I want smth else ? And when I said no she said I CAN NOT SIT THERE BECAUSE TO SEE THE GAME I MUST BUY AT LEAST 2 DRINKS . By the way that glass cost me 8 euro .So she forced me out . This is the last place you should go to see the games . Liverpool won that day , 3- 0 . Bar tenders name was Olga . And she is fat .

Don’t come here. The staff is horrible. The waitress mistreated me and my friends because 2 of us didn’t want do have any drinks. She was very rude and yelled at us to “LEAVE IMMEDIATELY” because only one person was drinking beer.

Fun barr with crazy and fun staff !! Oscar and Sarah were amazing !! They make our night in a big party! Love the vibe and good music !! Me and my boyfriend we going back there for sure!!

If you want to drink something and enjoy a smoke, you should definitely try this place. Nice atmosphere, and cool bartenders.

Check prices before you buy. My mistake, but never thought Smirnoffs and a few Jamesons and beers would lead to a £200. Count your drinks too, not sure if the bartender took advantage of the fact we were drinking there long and not paying attention to prices or drinks ordered. Charged 13 shots, I would have been plastered. Avoid avoid avoid.

Nice music nice place but. I ordered 6 desperados and they have a special offer you get 5 for 4. The guy told me it is not possible because I ordered 6. I need to order 5 to get the ofer… defuq?

Bar is small and very expensive. In a short period being there barman was acting as a salesman to sell some shots, picking customers drinks as if they were finished or to sip some. Felt awkward as hell.

This place is number one in Amsterdam! Great deal, 10 shots of some promo alcohol only 20€. Great and fast staff also, specialy girl from Hungary! Il come back for sure 10+

Little high prices but to be expected in tourist areas. Bartender who was originally from Hungary but living in Amsterdam was extremely friendly, she seemed to really enjoy her job and interacting with customers

Excellent place to grab a bite, drink a beer or just have a smoke. Prices aren't the cheapest, if you are going alone, but in a big group you can get more for cheaper. Staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. Food was quite good also, portions are regular sized, but enough for one person. Definitely a place to check out when in Amsterdam.

This place is great! Affordable and friendly- except the lady who won’t let you use the toilet without 50c! Beware haha. Other than that, positive experience and would return.

If I could give more stars ,I would. The best bar ever, the best view. The best bartender Oksana, I love you. I am coming back to Amsterdam for sure and this bar is one of the reasons.
