Nice local pub with local people and expats. Especially nice when jaoie is working! Enjoy, its a little gem with the right people working on the right spot

Great pub, with a great and extended list of local Amsterdam craft beers. Some outdoor seating, but I love it inside: excellent music choices. It doesn't have a kitchen, but you can order some cold bites.

Lifesaving cheese after midnight. Great beers on tap from some great local (micro) brews. Easy pub on the corner as well as a taproom. Very enjoyable, great people. Exceptional bartender. Thanks for having us.

Such a great small bar. One of the few I've been to which has a local vibe but is still very welcoming. The beer is great (get the Saison Dupont and a couple of glasses), and sometimes they come round with surprise snacks for you.

Amazing local bar. Wide variety of beers to choose from, both bottled and tap. Polite and fast waiters, cozy atmosphere and good overall experience, will surely return!

The person working there was very educated and friendly, like the place and the atmosphere. Afternoon time is the best, the area is full of bar's and restaurants with good people close to the center but away from that caos that the Amsterdam center can be.

This is my local pub and my god, nothing could compete with it. The staff, owners and the crowd that comes here - it's truly a special place. Of course they have a great selection of beers, as well as board games and even lots of Lonelyplanet books! Super cosy and warm 🥰

Small place that gets crowded easily. Focused on specialised beers, most of them quite strong in taste. Serves a great gin-tonic, with a very decent price. But get some food nearby before you start drinking, they don't serve food and what they serve is all quite strong.

Joost should have 6 stars, it is that good. Local beers, often brewed with a few miles of the bar. Great selection, that changes a lot and most certainly with the seasons. Knowledgeable, friendly and humorous crew. Great places to sit outside and enjoy busy Amsterdam oost. It's a small place, so it gets crowded easy.

Such a great place with the friendliest bartender. I’m so happy we dropped by this place. Great beers (only local breweries, thumbs up) and awesome combinations of gin tonics. Indie, folk and rock and a friendly atmosphere, combined with the drinks makes this an easy full rating!
