Pigs & Punch

Restaurant Bar Cocktail bar

👍👍 We had a lovely meal at Pigs & Punch. The scallops were very nice as a starter and the pig out sharing tray was fantastic. The ribs are the best I ever had. They also make really nice artisan cocktails that are well worth a try. Already looking forward to our next visit. People often mention good, ribs, cocktails,

The staff are absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and open, they made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The food was good and the portions of the sides were large. There are many cocktails to choose from and mine came in a very creative glass. The interior was very atmospheric and I liked the music.

For starters I wonder if I should be embarrassed as an American in this American themed restaurant & bar out of all Amsterdam options. However is totally worth it; the atmosphere is cool and cozy with brick, fire places, large bar and plenty of seating. Primary food options are pork and my colleagues enjoyed very much. I had the miso salmon which was perfectly cooked and the sauce was light yet flavorful. The cocktail options seemed a bit sweat and over the top for my preference but they made a mean Manhattan and my friends enjoyed the rum & coconut milk drink ‘oriental rum punch’... actually quite offensive name now that I know it. Recommend the space for drinks alone or with bites.

Located at one of the most hip places in Amsterdam, Pigs & Punch is a trendy place for food lovers. The open kitchen helps you see how they prepare most of the items on the menu, not to mention the nicely decorated sitting area for customers. Food is good, especially if you are into pig's meat and roasted stuff. But one of most interesting collections on menu are the cocktails of course, and they have very interesting ones. Don't forget to try it if you happen to dine here.

The staff are really friendly and attentive. The food is a good proportion size, the cocktails are really well made. I'd probably not order dessert again though

Just brilliant, headed in on my own, restaurant was full but no problem. Shown downstairs to the cellar bar where there was a great atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. Amazing rib eye and fries with a recommendation of a local beer. Very happy with my choice.

Amazing ribs and punch. The restaurant lives up to its name to deliver unforgettable, tender ribs with a curious selection of fruit punches.

The portions was good. The ribs were a little too dry though. The bubble duck drink was no good, probably only good for eyes

I was so lucky, dine in without reservation. The food was great. Ribs was tender and juicy. And I love the BBQ sauce so much. It was not heavy that’s why I could finished my dish.

Three stars only because the ribs were delicious. Service-wise sadly the waitress that’s been taking care of us wasn’t even doing the basics (Do we have enough plates? Enough cutlery? Do we have the menu to order? Are our plates taken before the main arrives?). She was very disorganized. Unsure If I’ll ever go back for this reason.

Dropped by for friday dinner. The meat was not impressive, I expected it to be more moist since meat seems to be their main focus. The food was also overpriced for what they were offering. You have to pay extra for sauce €2.50 and french fries €4.50. For steak I would go elsewhere in Amsterdam there are much finer places like for a piece of good meat. The burger was dry which is not good if you have had good quality meat/burgers to compare with. The salad was smartly plated in a bowl which would give you the illusion that it was a lot, but actually the portions were small for what you pay for. The lights downstairs were way too dimmed, we had a hard time reading the menu and had to use our mobile phones to shed some light. The music downstairs could be turned down a notch or two. We literally had to scream to communicate. The food was a bit slow but the service was fine.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
