After entering, we stood waiting by the bar, for there were no employees in sight. After one did appear, she did her best to ignore us until we approached her. We had a reservation, and she told us to go sit down somewhere, so we did. While we sat, none of the employees paid any attention to us, we were not asked if we wanted a drink or if we wanted something to eat. One of us went to the bar again and asked if we could order, but was just told to go sit back down. Eventually a waitress approached us and asked us whether we wanted to drink something, so we ordered and quickly asked for food too. She left us to get our drinks and brought them back after a bit, but still we got no menus. We had to call a different waiter to us to receive the menus. Once we had our menus, we were again ignored by all waiters and had to call them over just to be served and be seen. It might just be an Amsterdam custom, but we felt very ignored. After finally getting another waiter over, they told us that the only vegetarian dish on their event menu wasn't in stock. We asked if there was a replacement and they went to ask. They did return eventually, but we could not order until we called over yet another waiter. When the food eventually arrived, it was surprisingly good! Though the menu listed 'skin on' fries and we received regular ones, the rest was mostly in order. We had thenspareribs, which were great, the beef burger, also great, and the vegetarian goat's cheese salad, which our vegetarian companion did not appreciate as she didn't know what would be in it beforehand and when she received it, it was full of vegetables she does not like. After picking those out of it she barely had any food left, but we had luckily already ordered an extra side of fries for her. Apart from the salad, the two other dishes had enough food in them and tasted good. However, because of the waiters ignoring us persistently but serving other customers without them having to specifically call for a waiter, our experience wasn't great. We understand that there was an event menu, but listing only 1 vegetarian dish (ravioli) and then not even having it in stock was not great... Dessert options were also limited to one dish, which wasn't even a dish many people would like (white chocolate mouse) as opposed to for example some scoops of vanilla icecream. We wound up getting our ice cream somewhere else after paying and leaving the establishment.

After touring Johann Cryuff Arena, we stopped in for lunch and a few drinks. There were plenty of selections for both food and drinks. Each of our meals came out quickly and were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the entire place is super clean. It’s a great space inside, and they have seating outside in the plaza as well. Next time we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely stop in again.

Don't eat here.. My Beef burger for 20 euros. Was the most tasteless cheap burger I had in my life. Febo does it seriously better. Beer was fine. The staff was OK. But wow.. What a way of making money!

Really bad! Took 30 min to get 2 beers that were paid already through the QR code, plus they served it with hot glass. The only nice person was the one on his first day. The rest just decided to ignore when they were being called.

The food was okay but a high price. 20 euros for a burger that was fine, fries that tasted good and a tasteless salad with pasta and carrot. Drinks and service was okay, but 3.25 voor 150 ml of cola is ridiculous.

I came in for a lunch. The prices are decent, and the food is too. Service is very good, as well as the beer. Nice atmosphere, and the place is clean and uncluttered.

Horrible experience. We were there for about 20 minutes. During that time we asked several waitresses about 6 or 7 times if we could order (because they literally never come to your table otherwise) but none of the waitresses were allowed to take orders. They all said that they would send someone over to take our order, but alas, that never happened. So we left. Never again.

Unfortunately understaffed and insufficient drinks cold. Bartender is always cool. Don’t come in big groups. They only have 4 ijwit cold

Didn't show any menu's and when we asked for them it was "No" Terrible service, terrible atmosphere. Really pricey so I guess that's why they wont show the menu's. Never again, wished I went anywhere else really. Drinks from PLASTIC cups, really cheap serving for such expensive prices. Tables weren't cleaned at all.

Horrible service, mediocre food, ridiculous prices. We went before a concert at the afas. There was a limited event menu of 5 items. Even with such a limited and basic menu it took over 45 minutes to get two very basic cheeseburgers. We spent about an hour and 15 minutes from putting our name in to when we were given the food we (over)paid for. It was a very unpleasant experience when we also were watching the time to make it to our concert in time. Do NOT go here if there is just the event menu! Go to the burger king around the corner. You will get almost the same quality of burger, for cheaper and quicker.

I do not mind paying 20 euros for burger and fries but they have to be good. McDonald's looks and tastes more delicious than this one. Service is good, friendly and fast. Too bad the food is disappointing.

Have some beers, but no food. I ordered chicken skewers and I think they were from the day before, warmed up and full of peanut sauce to hide the taste. The waiters are very fast and friendly, the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars.

Nice and open space. Can do better comes to mind. The service as most Dutch places is just not there. Eat, pay and go. Don’t ask for good smile or speed. Just move along

I really used to like food at this place, they used to have good tasty burgers and sandwitches with my favorite Grolsch beer. I came over after long time and this is 19.95€ burger from event manu I get today… What a dissapoitment! Menu was promising BEEFBURGER With fried bacon, smokey sauce and fries. Instead I get some ugly tastless dried burger without bacon on dry old bun, with ketchup and pieces of veggie, plus this nonsense carrot pasta salat. Only good thing was the fries. First time in my life I returned food. Two stars for beer and Friendly staff You can do better Grolsh Cine Café!

Not prepared for busy times, waiting a very long time to order, get the food, which was lukewarm and waiting again a long time for dessert and the bill. The food was ok but would not recommend it

Nice and chill place to have some drinks, good prices, good music, very friendly staff. The menu is ok.

Music outside is way too loud. Couldn't even talk to people on my table. Doorman told us it was "to attract people". Go figure....

Very slow service, it took them long time to bring the menu & much longer to take the order resulting into closed kitchen! We left hungry, I will never visit here again!

Bad food but most of all terrible service. Untrained, rude, and outright aggressive staff. I would avoid this place like plague. All the other places around this that I went to offered better food, drinks, and service. No reason to waste time and money here.
