Amazing place, can be hard to find, it’s inside the hotel is the trick! All the people working at the bar are extremely kinds and helpfully and it’s a really nice chill atmosphere. My wife enjoyed some great cocktails here; and really liked the mix of available options.

Juan and Ziemowit are like a bit of an Abbott and Costello act behind the funnest bar in Amsterdam. Most importantly, an unbelievable level of care for their cocktails. Level 12 out of 10 here. Pick one from the menu and trust them to take you on the ride after!

When we arrived at the hotel, our jackets were collected and stored in a cloakroom. The staff also called the elevator for us and briefly explained how to get to the bar - very attentive. The first impression of the bar was really good. The design of the furniture and the rooms is very high quality. In addition to a main area where the bar is located, there are two smaller rooms in case you like to enjoy more privacy. The drinks were very good and on point. Many of the drinks had that certain something. For example, the Gold Digger cocktail is not only an outstanding drink, but also stands out visually with its glittering and moving gold in the drink. The mixologist was very well trained and always had an eye on all the guests. He was able to tell a short story about many of the cocktails, which significantly enhanced the cocktail experience. As soon as the cocktail was almost empty, he came over and brought the menu. Small snacks were refilled several times. This bar really is very high quality and the mixologists work at the highest level. I can therefore say that it is one of the best cocktail bars I have ever visited what made it really hard for us to leave. The cocktail menu is also regularly updated, which invites you to come back. We will definitely do so when we are in Amsterdam again and can recommend this bar to every cocktail fan and people that like to enjoy drinks in an upscale atmosphere.

I had been Dora the explora for 2 days and I just needed an espresso martini. My gosh did I feel comfortable and at home where I could catch my breathe. The prices were great I feel for the service and level of comfort. It was needed and when I go back to Amsterdam, this will be my first stop. On the third floor of this boutique hotel off the Dam square, you will find a perfect spot to relax and be treated to uniquely crafted cocktails I had an Aviation,, which was tasty and then a Basil Smash that was perfectly balanced.. If Juan is not there, don't worry, as all are similarly trained. I will be back.

We had a cocktail that was like teleporting to Thailand, really brought out memories and transported us to a whole different place, so different to the usual 'oh that cocktail tastes nice'. Decor and ambience is not my style - seems like it's designed for ostentatious rich people who like bling and an air of 'exclusivity'. 🙄 Bar staff are charming and friendly and attentive but not pushy; honestly, the barman was the most memorable and best aspect of my visit. I was not staying in the hotel, just went for a wander and a look, since I saw it recommended for cocktails in Difford's Guide. I will try to copy and modify the cocktail I had at home, but will keep looking for a bar I like to be in.
