I discovered Pind Punjabi on Instagram due to the fame of his viral giant naan so I had to try it when I went to Amsterdam last week. Space is elegant, not the average indian restaurant, waiters are so nice and helped us choose the best dishes for our taste. And most important: food was amazing!! We have just received our food and it’s absolutely horrible. We ordered two portions of Cha sieuw, normally delicious BBQ style meat with red/pink spice, but we received boiled, overcooked and tasteless meat that smells like dog food, just awful. I would never recommend this “restaurant” to anyone else and I’m sorry I wasted my money. The “Fried Rice” is boiled rice with some added prei and some random other stuff. This entire meal ended up in the trash and we will find another solution for the dinner. I’m very much in favor of supporting local restaurants and often order in but I feel that this was absolutely disgusting food and I can’t believe any chef would send it to a customer.

We loved this restaurant. It's a bit out of the centre but absolutely worth to go there. Already the boss is a great and interesting personality. And the food is delicious, spicy if you want and well prepared. You have to try it yourself!

This restaurant serves delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal so much so that we came back again within a week!. I wish they would open a franchise in Vancouver, Canada. Will def' be coming back again on my next trip to A'dam!! :-)

I will start with the friendly service. When I entered I got a warm welcome from the staff. The menu is very diverse and offers options for all dietary needs and hungers. The food is amazing and taste like Auntie or Granny were prepping the special meals for us. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

We were a group of 4 that went for a dine-in. We had 3 starters and 4 main course dishes along with some drinks. I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. It was indeed authentic Punjabi food. Prices were somewhat reasonable I say but the service was prompt even though the place was quite busy and the food was gorgeous. 5 stars all the way!

Food was amazing. Authentic punjabi food. I liked Samosa very much and also mango lassi. You should definitely visit here if you like punjabi food.

Amazing amazing Indian food with even better hospitality! I mean we are quite blown away not only by the delicious North Indian cuisine they serve but also by the warm and swift service at the restaurant! Their Hara bhara kebabs are better than the ones we've had in India ever. Apart from that we had mouth watering tandoori Mushrooms that comes on a sizzling plate, great Dal soup! In the mains we had Sabz Deewani Handi which was 10/10, Dal makhani was mild and nice. Must try is the butter garlic Naan. Must visit Indian restaurant in Amsterdam!

I have been tried many place in the UK but this is above all in taste and service. We ordered chicken 65 and Veg Manchurian in starter and it tasted promptly delicious. Kadhai Paneer, kulcha Nana and Biryani in main course. 100% a place to come back to try more of their amazing menu. A very good value of money. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PS: Poppadom and chutneys are complementary. Also I don't have much food pics to share as dishes were so tempting, couldn't wait to have pic.

Pind Punjab is an amazing Indian restaurant , all you Desi guys out there craving Indian food in Amsterdam , this is the place to go. 5 stars for the customer service and the quality of food.

I was born and grew up in Delhi, which is where butter chicken was invented. I share that because I have grown up eating butter chicken weekly, and have a good sense for quality. This butter chicken at Pind Punjabi is godawful. I don't know why the ignorant chef thought it was a good idea to douse the chicken with sugar. The reshmi (translates to silk) kebab was chewy and hard. This place must cater to tourists, no self respecting Desi would ever eat here. Tonnes of better butter chicken options in Amsterdam. Save your money, skip this one.

Delicious food! Garlic naan was amazing. Starters were served timely but the dinner was served a bit late.

I ordered Chicken Pakora as starter and Chicken Balti as main course (on suggestion that it is less spicy than the Chicken Madras). This combined with a Keema Naan. Both starter and main course were excellent! I'll come back here and I'll try the Madras Chicken, as I like spicy dishes.

Food was delicious and service also very friendly and fast. Chicken 65 made my mouth burn and the Tandoori Mix was amazing.

Quality little place on the outskirts, walked by a few Indian restaurants all very quiet then you get to Pind and it is full which is always a very good sign. Food was great, mixed grill starters nice selection. Mains were good too, the Madras is very hot - Punjabi Lamb - beautiful! Be prepared to wait as service is a tad slow with the amount of tables to staff ratio but the foods worth the wait

Food and service of the highest quality. Interior that of a classic Indian restaurant, no trendy place. Focus is mainly on the amazing dishes. Level of spices can be custom to your palate. Would definitly recommend.

Visited this place last week with a friend of mine and it was the best food I have had in a while. The service was incredible, the staff were very welcoming and the service was very fast. The food was delicious, I would especially recommend the huge naan bread and the chicken jalfrezi, as well as the samosas and pakoras. The atmosphere was very warm and cosy and over all it was a great evening! Will be returning soon!
