Uber eats review : Food is very good (we ordered the parmigiana) but if, with the "buy one get one for free" offer you simply serve halt of it, it feels like a scam. It's 14e per parmigiana and what I received looked like a starter.

Some pretty tasty pizzas! I’ve had take away and tonight dined in at La Piccola Baracca. The pizzas are quite good. I loved the Mr Pink with the mortadella. The Solarno was spicy and salty (in a good way) with a solid crust. I am definitely going back ti try more pizza. And the eggplant parmigiana looked quite good.

Only pasta, no pizza! Warm water, my ravioli just tasted like butter. Way to expensive!

I like this Italian restaurant, the taste was good and vibe was warm and cozy. I was eating alone and chose a low traffic time 6 PM to dinner. I ordered capesante scottate as the starter and Risotto seafish as the main dish. The bread served first was crispy outside and soft inside, it’s nice but I’d like it to be warmer next time. The starter smells so good with the green pepper and red onions, the scallop cooked well and tasted nice. It’s worth a try if you like seafood. The main dish was amazing, the flavor was so strong with the shrimps, squid, all of them are shrimped into the little juice, quite compact and strong, umami! But it took some time for this dish, if you don’t won’t to wait for more than 15 minutes. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner alone or with friends.

One of the best pizza -contemporanea style- I have ever eaten in Amsterdam. Freshness of the ingredients, passion on kneading the dough and a different menu from standard pizzeria, makes this place a true gem in west. A cosy place 10 min away from Dam square. Highly recommended!

We had made a reservation but the restaurant was quite empty. We got greeted by the host who was very eccentric but friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was alright, there are no decorations on the walls and everything looks quite plain. It took a while for us to get menus or get our order taken. While deciding what to order, another customer who was getting takeaway was haggling with the host about the price of several pizzas. This made it seem unprofessional as even the chef came out to deliberate on the “discount”. The staff was talking loudly in the back throughout the whole night, not helping with the lacking atmosphere. The wild boar ragù was very nice and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The Mr White pizza was also very good! As a dessert we got the tiramisu which was a little lacklustre compared to other homemade tiramisus we’ve had in Amsterdam. Overall, I’d come again for takeaway as the food was good however the dining experience was quite unprofessional.

We were looking for a pizzeria near us. My partner is Italian but I am Spanish, by the look of the pizzas I was not very sure but I'm happy to have listened to him. The place was not crowded when we got there, it is not a fine dine restaurant but it really makes you feel like home. The waitress offered me a blanket because it was a bit chilly outside. She took care of us since the very beginning 🥰 We had a focaccia burrata and a pizza Salerno. Both of them were super tasty 👌🏽 The dough was well done and also well cooked. The amount of ingredients was perfect and you can tell that the pizzaiolo made our food with passion and love. My partner talked with him for a bit and first of all, he can tell he is a truly Italian soul and second that he is gentile e simpatico. In my own experience, the waitress has also the same characteristics and tries her best to treat their costumers like family. 🫶🏽 We finished the dinner with a great feeling and we are of course coming back soon!! Good job guys! ❤️

Amazing pizza and Italian food, they also have gluten free options. I happened to have a problem with an order through Uber Eats and the person from the restaurant was immediately helpful and solved the issue in super short time, while being super kind and friendly. 100% reccomended!

We went to La Piccola Baracca for a Monday dinner. The service was quick and efficient, partially probably because there weren’t many customers at that time. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good, the toilets are fine too. The tables, however, are too high and you feel like you have the plate in your chin almost. Pizza was good, served fresh and hot. Ingredients tasted good. They serve Italian beer and have quite a wide selection of it. I wasn’t necessarily wowed by the taste of the pizza but it wasn’t bad. Proper 4 stars. The pizzas we had were Philip and Burrata - both recommended.

The pizzas were almost crude. The staff argued with each other. I have seen a salami put in the fridge without even being wrapped in film, poor hygiene. Shame because from the photos it looks good but it was a big disappointment. As an Italian, I do not recommend it. I then ordered cannoli but I heard screams from the kitchen “from when is this ricotta? of 8 September ”we therefore decided to cancel the order for cannoli. one of the chefs then shouted that”people don t want to wait” . no, people don't want to be poisoned. we wanted to say something but the atmosphere was already tense from the moment we entered.

Very bad experience at La Piccola. I waited 1h30 for my pizza. After 1 hour wait we were told my pizza was on it way. 10 min later, the pizzaiolo came to us to saying he missed one ingredient (italian brocoli) to make my pizza (why do you wait 1h10 to check your ingredients?) so I changed my order for another pizza. 10 min later my pizza came and it was missing the tomato sauce. I asked the pizzaiolo about it and he replied that he didn't have tomato sauce (with zero apology). I started to be upset saying that this was unacceptable and instead of apologizing he made the situation worse by taking the situation personally and yelled at me, repeating he doesn't have tomato sauce and there's nothing else he can do. He even said I could come to his kitchen to check his fridge (why is it my problem if he's unable to organize his purchases?). I've never been treated in a such disrespectful way at a restaurant in Amsterdam by an oversized ego cook. The owner Andrea is very sweet but she shouldn't let her terrible employee talk to customers anymore (or let him cook at all).

Food was absolutely amazing, and service too! Try their pistachio rum cake, omg, that's the best thing I've ever had in my life I swear 😍 We got a shot of melonchelo(hope it's spelled correctly) as a gift as it was my friend's birthday, it was delicious. Definitely visit this lovely place, staff is so nice, and food is great, thank you 💜

Meet the culinary maestro behind the deliciousness – the pizza maker here is a true artisan! Their passion for crafting exceptional pizzas using top-notch ingredients is evident in every slice. A delightful blend of skill and dedication, making this pizzeria a standout choice. The staff's welcoming attitude makes you feel like home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's not just about the incredible pizza; it's about being treated like a friend. Definitely deserving of a 5-star review!

We have been there for dinner, the atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. Staff always smiling and so Italian vibes, we loved that so much. We had pizzas and tbh it was one of the best we had in Amsterdam so far following by delicious dessert. We also had chance to meet the Chef, he explained us the process of the pizza that we had and we loved the passion that he put in that. Lovely place, would definitely come back for more. Thanks again.

Preamble: high expectations due to the incredible reviews especially from the Italians. All in all, it’s been an okay experience. The service was great, very quick, explanation of different foods, and the waiter (perhaps the owner himself?) had an attention to details and was welcoming and fun. The antipasto misto was fantastic, different kind of cold cuts and cheese, good variety for a Dutch restaurant and they were all fresh and authentic. However, the mains, Mr Pink pizza and ricotta truffle ravioli, were nothing special and slightly disappointing. Without any doubts for the same price you can find better quality in the city. Hence 3⭐ as average of the service and dishes.

Popped in on a Sunday evening without reservations and with three hungry kids. Extremely friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us. The three pizzas that the kids ate were delicious and the risotto and tagliatelle specials that we had were also extremely tasty. They also served a great and reasonably priced Montepulciano! Will be going back.

I was quite disappointed by La Piccola Baracca. The pizza was simply not up to scratch: heavy dough that just didn't quite taste right; poor preparation and patchy application of the toppings. This is table stakes for a pizza restaurant! In addition, we found the service somewhat cold and awkward. I won't be returning.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why.
