The french fries are good, but certaintly not the best in Amsterdam as the sign suggest. There's always a long waiting line and they don't keep up with all the orders. If you're a fries lover, you'll enjoy it, but I won't recommend waiting in line for everyone.

The line was quite long but it took not that long to order. Large fries were sold out so the medium was the new 'large'. I loved their fries; however the sauce on top was so thick and all over the fries and I already felt full and salty after finishing 2/3 of the fries. Wish they could give the sauce on a seperate dip.

Delicious fries. We got the large size, it is more than enough for two very hungry people. We choose tartar and Manneken Pis sauces, they were so good. It’s the sauces that make it special, we strongly suggest to try different sauces.

When you first visit Amsterdam, Netherlands and reach by the Amsterdam Central Railway Station. The first popular destination you will notice this French Fries Stall is packed with crowds. They have big advantages being their ideal location near Central Railway Station. In fact, there are some other French Fries brand down the road at the shopping and F&B area. But this brand being the most popular due to easy notice strategy location. Their fries was thick and big and not so long, and their unique part is serving with many interesting sauces to chose from. Not so cheap but definitely worth trying especially if is was your first visit to Amsterdam. Buy one mid or large portion is still good enough to share for two persons. If you really like French fries, you may buy it again down the road on the way to the city shops area, other French fries brand was delicious too. So, try it but not buying too much for first visit. B'cos more chose to come.

Delicious fries - despite being franchised, this was one of the best fries we had in Amsterdam. We got the mayo and curry sauce which we would recommend! Note these are quite filling so we had to share between my wife and I and it kept us full for lunch! Wouldn’t recommend getting one each as it gets quite sickening at the end!

The line might look like it lasts forever but it goes quickly! The fries are great, unpopular opinion - they weren’t vastly different from other good fry places (emphasis on the good). But we didn’t regret waiting! There are so many sauces to choose from so there’s something for everyone! They work for a meal or a snack, depending on your ability to consume food. Overall good place!

Awesome and delicious Belgian fries. Thick cut, fried until extremely crisp outside. 20+ delicious sauces, try the truffle mayo and the peanut. The portions are relatively huge, couldn't finish the big one.

Hallo! A must when in Amsterdam! The frites here and thick and fried to perfection! 20+ sauces to choose! I loved that peanut one! I would even say this location (near the Sex Museum) over the others. So much character eating on the street here, plus the staff I encountered were super Dutch friendly!

The fries were amazing and very fulfilling. We had large fries, so 2 of us shared these fries, still we both were totally full. They have amazing choices of sauces. We tried Manneken Pis sauce and it was yummy. It's a must try for French fries when you are in Amsterdam. There are always long queues at this place but it keeps moving quickly, as their service is really fast.

Not a huge fan of fries, but this place changed my mind! Came back twice for their delicious fries. It's better to go early to avoid the crowds; there's always a long queue. Don't miss out on the Menneken Pis sauce – totally worth the wait!

  • 5/5 Helen B. 1 year ago on Google
Great experience. We went during lunch time so you can imagine how long the queue was. We didn’t wait for long as they have a very good system, four people working (two on the till and two on the side of them distributing the fries per your request). We had a large with cheese and it was so very good! Definitely give this place a visit and try when you’re in Amsterdam.

You want quick? Yes. These are QUICK and very good prices considering how many fries. They’re good. Great? No. Just thicker fries with some vegan Mayo. About 4-5 euros for a small. A small can definitely feed 2 people!

The fries were good but nothing special. The portions are quite reasonable but at the end you might feel heavy because of the amount of fried potatoes. They also offer a great variety of dips which are ordered as an extra. There may have cue but the service is really fast because they are frying potatoes without stopping. I ordered the truffled mayonnaise and then seasoned them with some spices. Personally, I think is better to share the fries and not eating them only as a main meal.

They claim to be the best fries in Holland and they might be right. With over 24 sauces to choose from, they provide an incredibly large amount of food that is enough for two people.(we got the medium). The best sauce in my opinion is the truffle mayo, but the ones with raw onions were also good. Service is fast, but lines can't get quite long around lunchtime. There's nowhere to eat around the shop but one can stroll through the lovely canals while eating them.

I went to this place just because there was huge line in front of it. There is definitely waiting time during peak hours. Minimum price of the fries is around 3.99 plus sauce. There are more than 15 varieties of sauces. There is option of choosing vegan sauce too. The taste was not out of the world but it’s good.

Such a huge line, everyday, at all times… we had to try it. It was raining the day we decided to finally try them here. Nothing special, we had the cheese sauce, nothing special… had to ask for ketchup to be able to eat them. I will not give them just a star, but fries had sucked the oil and I was not impressed….. but had to try them…. Have always figured, if there is a line there is good food…. NOT HERE!! It’s just an experience, ENJOY!!

Super popular Belgium fries shop near Amsterdam Centraal. The fries is super crispy with good taste of potato. Sauces are the soul of this shop, no matter you pick the traditional mayo sauce or anything else like curry.

BEST CHIPS IN DAM!!!! You can taste the flavour of the potatoes! The realest quality everyone talks about this place and there’s always a queue - no wonder why! And you can add a choice of three flavours of sauce! Even without sauce the chips are fab!

The city's finest fries have a few areas for improvement: 1. The long queue often leads to extended wait times; this could potentially be addressed. 2. Fries are not served on plates, which could be changed. 3. They're usually served very hot, requiring some waiting time before they can be enjoyed.

Crispy fresh fries with over than 14 side sauces you ca add. Nothing special about this store though, but it’s very popular and busy in centre Amsterdam. I tried special ketchup one day and it was exceptional. I tried samurai which was a bit spicy but yummy. Overall, worth trying, and I highly recommend this store as I knew that they use vegetable/sunflower oil for frying and not using any oil extracted from animal fat.

I tried this fries. for the first time and it was really good. Better than typical fries. Normal chain restaurants like McDonlads fries doesn’t even come close to this. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. Just the way I like it. The amount of salt could be a bit overwhelming, but you could just shake it off. For the sauce get the one they recommend. I tried with tomato ketchup, it wasn’t that good to me, I don’t like ketchup anyway. Felt too strong. Other sauce complements the fries. Overall good experience.

The fries weren't that special in my opinion. They were quite bland without the sauce. But when coated with the sauce, they tasted really nice. The down side is that the fries got soggy faster. The second day we came back again and had the sauce on the side. We also added the seasonings to our fries. We think this was the best way to enjoy these fries. And, truffle mayo was our favorite sauce.

The most coveted fries in the area. Very long lines, but they know how to work through it really quickly. Tons of sauces to choose from, get whichever makes your heart happy! I tried more traditional Dutch styles, but the combinations are endless.

It is a famous fries place near to Amsterdam central station, i have tried one. The fries are good but not so special, they offer many different sauce so you can try it. i find a bit expensive for such portion, but you can give it a try if it is your fist time you visit the city.

Despite being there when the weather was rainy, cold, windy and miserable, it was worth the wait! Service is fast and friendly and the fries were delicious. We tried the peanut sauce and truffle mayo. A small to split for two was plenty. They were both, individually delicious on those crispy, hot fries but also good together. I’m not usually into places that attract a lot of tourists but it was worth the stop!

Even though there were many people, the service was fast and effective. I enjoyed the crunchiness of the fries. The truffle Mayo sauce was good, but it wasn't the best truffle sauce I've ever tasted.

Definitely a must-try when you visit Amsterdam! Thick cut fries with different varieties of sauce to choose from! I ordered a small size but it was a lot (for me!).

Great quick snack to take along with you while walking around the streets of Amsterdam. We loved the seasoning that was out for customers to add to their cones of fries! We did find the frite sauce to be a bit overrated, but did overall enjoy the fries with mayo. I was a bit turned off by how they have stands to eat and hold your fries out of, but held over a garbage bin which didn’t smell the best. The staff were very friendly and totally sold us on the sauces we chose!

Yummy crunchy fries.. in my opinion.. wasn’t all that.. They charge extra for the sauce… and to my taste they over pour the sauces. Was more like a soup.. had medium size.. small would have been enough to taste. Worth if the line is not so long.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
