I usually avoid places on main tourist streets. Passed by to buy doner and was very happy with it. Today had chicken shashlik. It was amazing. The chicken was soft and juicy. The service was very friendly and attentive. Affordable and delicious.

His mom should be very disappointed in the way the chef turned out in life, EXTREMELY RUDE. Horrible food. No manners. Talks too loud and assumes I have no money by the way he treats me. I’m the one on a holiday in Europe, whereas you’re behind a counter talking smack. If you are sad with your life, don’t take it out on me. You’re the type of person that makes Arab people look bad. Read a book and educate yourself. Learn to respect others. Also, you should join the mafia. Shawarma shops should be manned by friendly Arabs, not shady gangster wannabes like you. You’re not tough, you’re just a bully.

Very nice food here. Very tasty, definitely come here. Good food and drink options, service is quick, cash card payments available! Good seating available too. Chips are amazing as well

Very quick service, the only good thing about this restaurant. If you're in a rush and don't care about the flavors of your food, order from here! The fries are reheated not very tasty. This is the first time I was served a toasted white bread with lentil soup! And no lemons! Overall, not very delicious and not worth the price!

Really bad place to eat. Quite expensive and small portions. I took my food for take away. The staff was very nice but they gave themselves a tip without asking me - I only noticed afterwards when I checked my credit card statement. Definitely do not recommend this place.

The person was very rude. He yelled at us even before sitti at table. Due to being on a hot spot they take advantage of that, they have no manner of speaking. The food is good. But the person taking orders is very racist and rude. I have uploaded the picture of person.

They never heard from costumer is king. Friend buyed food and have to pay 2€ for toilet. Personal is not friendlie to costumer.

One of the worst shawarma I had. It was too salty, no flavour. It’s small place at near to Central. I feel the owner itself was a bit arrogant and not customer friendly. As halal options are less, these guys are surviving but not for long. There are many halal restaurants in the parallel road and other parts of Amsterdam. Not at all recommended.

Very very tasty, big portions as you can see. And if you are hungry (like I was) this is one of the best options you can have, cause they are mega extra fast on serving and you have a rich variaties of food and drinks (including vegetarian dishes...I believe even vegan, if you ask for just falafel or Turkish pizza veggie). I will definitely come back

Was looking for some döner or shawarma for a quick dinner in the city center and stumbled upon this place. For €12, I ordered a shawarma, and it was fantastic. The portion was very generous, and I found it quite acceptable for the price. The chicken was juicy, the sauces were flavorful, and the veggies were very fresh. The place was crowded, and I had to leave quickly because there were so many people queuing. Overall, it was a 4/5 for me.

Good food and tasty. Service is quick. Cash and card payments available. Both dine in and take away is available. The seating area is ok but you will definitely love food. Do try Kapsalon and Wrap.

Staff is friendly and very fast. Only the restaurant is really small so finding a table is a little bit hard. And I think the air conditioning inside is not enough. Still, food was delicious. Thank you.

Thats very old & famous halal food restaurant in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, its located near by Amsterdam central if you are a muslim & wanna eat some arabic cuisine then must visit there & eat delicious food , i would recommend “chicken fillet” which is really delicious

I recently dined at Halal food restaurant in Amsterdam, and it was a delightful experience. Th menu featured a diverse range of flavorful choices, from traditional local cuisine to global influences. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable.

This place was open around 1 AM in the morning, and it wasn’t crowded, so I thought why not try it out. I ordered a durum chicken kebab, the guy at the counter asked if he could mix it with lamb doner and chicken together. I told him that I want chicken only. He proceeded with mixing the chicken and lamb despite me asking for chicken. I only noticed this once I got home, and the taste was off. This isn’t a good representation of middle-eastern culture, the food is usually great. I can not recommend eating here.

Very rude staff. I did not enjoy food at all. The staff was insisting to pay in cash 💶. I gave 200 💶 but he did not have change. Then I offered to pay by card but he said I will pay 1 💶 extra if I pay by card. Anyhow I paid by card and at the end he said he did not charged extra. To summarize “they wanted cash as priority and tried to pressured me to pay in cash the exact amount”. This is very bad behavior towards tourist. By the way the food is Halal but behavior of staff was not good.

It's located in the center nearby Central Station. Must try fried chicken. It's good for the people who cones from India, Pakistan srilanka Nepal. And Arab countries also. You can find chicken beef kabab and shawarma wrap etc

Terrible place to eat. It's was cold, the tables were dirty and there was a hair in our food. We complained but the owner didn't care. So we left and found somewhere better.

Found this Halal place right in the middle of Dam Square! We always had the same one which is doner kebab. So juicy & flavourful. Each table will get their own bottle of sauces so that’s an extra point there. Recommended!

One of the staff member was really kind and sweet. The food was alright. Quantity is quite a lot and filling. Obviously as the name states, it is Halal! ⭐️☺️

Don't go here period. Staff is very very very rude and I had to place my order 3 times before it was noted. They don't speak either Dutch or English. They advertise small medium and large sizes but once you order suddenly small isn't an option anymore and they force you to order medium or large for high prices. You can get 2 sandwiches at other much better places for the same price. No sauce such as garlic or sambal was added which again is a standard at other places. I'm not sure but I think they overcharged me too. The quality of the food is below average. On top of that they also charge you for using their bathroom which I have never seen at any other kebabshop in Amsterdam. Clearly a tourist trap. Avoid at all cost.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Me and my friends had travelled all the way from Australia, and were so excited to be in Amsterdam. We ordered dinner and sat down, plenty of empty tables. After ordering, we waited patiently for our food to come, whilst watching the boss abuse staff and be rude. We were then told we had to eat out the front of the restaurant, with no reason, it was still open for 2 more hours and there were no reservations. The rude boss kicked us out and abused us for no reason. Worst customer service experience of all time. Absolutely disgusted, has left a sour taste on Amsterdam which until then was an amazing place to travel to. Do not go here anyone, worst place ever.

Doner kabab was very hard cooked or maybe cooked twice.. Not recommend. There are better choices around. Don't be fooled by the name Halal. The cashier was rude and took my money 2 euros and dropped in the tip box without my permission or asking.

In 2022 people still don't accept cards. Surprised. I had to walk 3 k.m just because they said to eat first and then we will see how you can pay. There was a middle aged guy full of ego and dissatisfication with life, no welcoming nature, no service oriented attitude, no taste in food, high price. Cleaniness was just fine, not so bad. They get business just because they are in an excellent location near to Station. The one star is for one of the friendly staff present there. I don't think their costumer retention percentage is more than 10%. Many people go here just they have halal food. If there would be another halal food options nearby it may bring a smile on his rude face.

Great value, great taste!! Friendly service. I find the doner wrap especially nice. Let the server know how you like it: spicy or not, lots of salad etc. Will post pictures after my next visit.

Tasty desi food, especially the kebab! The customer service was great too. The prices are slightly higher (12.50 euros for this plate, minus the pita) , but the food does justice to it.

Excellent taste, variety of things. A little bit on higher price. But enjoyed the meal.
