This is "pancake with chocolate" for 8 euro here. Staff was very rude, the bartender looked like he wanted to kill us. I usually dont write any reviews, but this was so bad, i need to warn people

I think they are under new management. Food was good and server was friendly. Prices were good for the area. We were happy :-)

Poor experience in every way. I had what was listed as a "Full English Breakfast" and ended up only eating a small portion of it. The service was rude to start off and when I asked if they had whole wheat toast I was told that they only had one kind of bread. The meal itself was some kind of sausage disks that resembled fried pepperoni, terrible processed cheap deli meat ham, beans, eggs, and inedible tough and dry toast. Considering the kind of good ham you can get cheaply from the supermarket here in Amsterdam, the poor quality of that alone makes it seem this place really doesn't care about trying to provide food that customers would enjoy.

Pancakes are actually good. Service is impatient. Paid about 25EU for two pancakes and two coffees.

Staff was rude! Actually very rude! English breakfast was a cheap processed meat plate. Was in a group of 10 and we all had a bad experience. The waiter or owner who ever he was just looked like he had a grudge with the world. Manning his till instead of making his business a happy place to be. I would avoid just for the simple fact that you wont be happy with the whole experience.

Very unfriendly staff. 8 euros for a crepe on which you have to apply the nutella yourself. I wasn't allowed to use to restroom. Overall bad experience. Don't waste your money! Pancake King is definitely not an appropriate name.

I can't understand the bad reviews here. The service was attentive when the sugar fell over and was spread on the table, someone can immediately wipe the table off for us. Pancakes came quickly and were good. It's nothing special, but you get what it says. In our case that was a sweet and a tart pancake and coffee.

My first food on my August 2018 trip was more a necessity than a choice. I was hungry. And to be fair there was nothing wrong with Pancake King. My toastie was tiny. The mushroom waffle was fine. Tea was...tea. The server was less than friendly. The toilets wer clean. Probably not for tourists. And the next door take away was mobbed. Which would upset any restautrant owner I'm sure. Ask a local. They'll maybe rate higher than me.

Great food!!! Salmon is a little bit too salty to me but still, it tasted good with pancake😊😊😊

Really good pancakes. Made a couple stops here during my trip. My fiance had the Dutch pancakes. Highly recommended those.
