I ordered a hamburger based on its shape, and didn’t check which was its name since I was in hurry. The printer of self order did not work, and it did not give me receipt. When I explained them that there is problem in the printer and i showed my payment in my Dutch bank account, they hesitate to give me my order. They waisted my time a lot to give me my order, I never and never order from this brand. After my order the manager ( an Indian man put new paper in printer ). Is this correct behaviour on the condition that your printer has problem and I am showing my bank transaction with its time that prove I had order this branch of Mac Donald ????? I will send a complaint to McDonald, since your behaviour was fully impolite just for 8 euros!

Food was cold and overpriced. Very slow service,no air conditioning. You have to pay for ketchup 80cents,just bring your own. And also if you need the toilet you also have to pay. Staff very unfriendly and unviting. Not enough seat areas for the location. Only two ordering booth's working. Lacks in customer service. Terrible! Terrible!

There was hair in my fries, and they refused to give me a new fries.

McDonald's isn't the type of place I'd usually visit. I did have an inkling that being in Netherlands, McDonald's would have some kind of vegetarian burger and so it proved. I got a veggie "chicken" burger with sweet potato fries. I enjoyed it and it was good value for money. The only downsides are the toilets are not free (50 cents), and the number of beggars asking for money inside.

They're always talking and not working. Last night, I had 2 cheeseburgers I had ordered, and there's enough night staff, but they were busy talking to themselves that I had to leave before I missed my Tram and so I left after 10 minutes without my cheeseburgers. The manager, who is some Indian guy, saw that I left with nothing but a loss of 4 euros and time. Very bad service 😒

A quick snack and then toilet and employee said I had to paid to go to toilet even though I paid for a meal. When I said to him I have a ticket, he said “ I don’t understand english” . The place was also dirty especially when your surroundings is all clean and a tourist attraction. What a bad example for this brand.

Cold hamburger and we miss a Big Mac. The indian/asian "lady" on the desk vas extremely unpleasant. We paid about 55 €. We missed our sauce that we payed and she refused to give as our mayonnaise or to change with a mistaken chinese sauce. She made us pay our sauce twice. She must leave that job otherwise she makes me 🤮 and lose appetit. Her mentality has no place at the coolest city of Amstedam.

The cashier took a while to take order .salad is frozen n disgusting . overpriced doesnt desseve a peny

Worst staff and experience I ever had in a McDonald's. Multiple members of the staff extremely rude and the manager (night shift June 11) is the worst of the team. On top, they are very slow for a fast-food restaurant. Saw the manager arguing with some customers because of a sundae done with about half of the ice cream... The manager took a scale, weighed the ice cream and said that was above the weight (whitout any indication of what that value is)...

Very small McDonald's with no vegan options! We got no receipt out of the machine after ordering. Thankfully it wasn't full and we just ordered a McFlurry which was ready within a few moments.

Very limited options for the burger meals. Most of the signature Meals not available. Coke they served to me wasn’t having any carbon inside and no ice was there also. Fries were not crispy at all. Only thing I like was chicken nuggets were so fresh and crispy.

Too small for the location and area. The seats are very limited. During our visit, on sunday, we waited too long in our opinion for an happy meal and a medium wrap menu. Most of the staff was discussing with a customer for a sauce and the routine service was affected by this accident

Service was great and food was amazing. First European mcdonald's that i have been to and i am not disappointed. Clean and tidy despite it being busy. The food was great and served fairly quickly. The only downside was it didnt have toilet facilities. But you were welcome to use the ones in their stor around the corner.. overall a great experience!

Real busy. They got our order wrong 4 times. Then the tables were so dirty. And no one was bothered to clean properly.

Absolutely incapable of accustoming to all customers. 2:35 and no capability of dealing with the stress of the rush of multiple orders. Completely rude treatment, never mind next time after I finish my 10 hour bar shift, I’ll go to another branch. Though these days I see no staff member that is capable of dealing with the rush of customers after 1am, just treats everybody completely disrespectfully and rudely because you can’t cope with the rush huh? Bring back the old management. These lot can’t hack it.

Bad experience due to the lack of professionalism and lack of respect of one of the shop assistants. On the other hand, lack of foresight since they ran out of napkins and served the hamburgers without them and when finished it was not possible to take trays and leftover food to the container since it was completely full.

Ordered mc chicken bbq and got the regular one, after taking a bite before realizing they wouldn’t want to exchange my burger to the one I ordered… insinuated like I ate it on purpose before going back to exchange for the right burger which they were supposed to give me, very customer unfriendly

Quick service just like any other Mcdonalds, not so crowded in morning. But it is not so clean. Tables are sticky and dirty. Good for takeaway but dine in is disgusting.

Hardly ever go in McDonalds but this is the best I've ever been in Food hot for a change and very clean.

The service was amazing! I will do 5* for service and welcoming, but the food is so down! We took two Bigmac menus plus chicken - the Bigmac wasn't Bigmac, to be honest, more like Cheeseburger with lettuce. The chicken was good, anyway lovely staff

Sadly closed 10minutes before it should be. I know that last minute Fastfood take away is crap for the staff, but walking for 10 minutes to stand in front of closed doors is even more crap for customers. I stayed hungry

Hi to the kitchen team of this night, my fish and double cheese were amazing. And I am sober, I am just happy with the food. Not all Mac Donald’s are delivering good products.

About 20 min waiting time for 3 Chickenburgers and 1 Cheeseburger. The Cheeseburger appeared to be a Hamburger. Noticed it when we were outside and had no time to go back. It can happen, but should not when you work professionally. We would not go here again

Decent McDonalds by Amsterdam's Dam Square. The service was quite efficient, and the restaurant was relatively clean. I believe this restaurant does not do food delivery, which makes the service much faster.

This location is small and there are no restrooms. It was very crowded. However, I was really impressed with the modern setup and rapid rate of service. You order at an entry kiosk (or you can go to the front register). A large monitor indicates where you are in the queue and when your order is ready. Burger was standard McDonald's but I was also impressed with the size and freshness of the side salad. Crowd was very young.

The food is good as always, but I don't like how they handle the orders, it's very confusing. They move all orders straight away from Preparing to Ready to pick up, without the orders being ready. So people sitting in the back come to the counter to pick up their order, which shows Ready for pick up, but are send back, because it is not at all ready. Would be more customer friendly if they use the signs how they are meant to be.

Pretty decent. Not very much different from what you're used to when going to a McDonald's, but it is pretty nice overall.

The food was amazing, and it was amazingly fast, but the doors were open so it was a bit cold inside. In general, great place!

Nice staff and good service, but they don't have WC. They advise using their other bench nearby.

We are tourist couple, decided to go for comfort food. Went to the nearest McDonald's from our hotel. It's a small outlet along the main road. Would say 60% was sitting space but still there wasn't exactly enough sitting for everybody. The main food board doesn't show everything on the menu, so it can be abit misleading. There's a smaller menu by the cashier. But who doesn't know the main selection on McDonald's menu?

Cold, tasting like cardboard with large fries that aren't anywhere near filled to what they should be. I don't know why I do it to myself just coz I wanted to acquire some food quickly. Safe to say that won't be happening again anytime soon.

This McDonalds had very quick service. After ordering, I quickly received my meal. After eating, a helper cleaned up my trash for me quickly too! Very nice service! It did seem like some employees were maybe on drugs, though.

Food is prepared on the order, so it's always fresh but you may have to wait really long time for your food.

30 minutes waiting for one ice cream! Another time 20 minutes for one cappuccino! Worst McDonald ever!

My first Dutch McDonalds. I enjoyed it, but the Big Mac is a little different and the beef doesn't taste quite as good as in the UK. The staff were a little unfriendly though and we weren't the only customers to notice!

They didn't get our order right, mybe cuz it was a bit late in the day and they run out of some stuff but yea not really impressed cuz it wasn't that good either...

Smaller McDonalds with a limited menu and seating, but was not an issue. Food was made quickly, and collected my order. There is a larger McDonalds with 200+ seating and paid restrooms close by if you're looking to sit down. For some reason, I was given McDonalds Gift wrapping paper with my meal! Unsure if this was part of some promotion for it being close to Christmas, but it was a welcome surprise! Would like to know, I was a visitor to Amsterdam!
