This place is amazing, hidden on a little street near the Red Light District. Loved the service, the beer is really a Duch treat with various types of beer made in house. Great music, great atmosphere. Definitely is a go to place in the city center of Amsterdam

This place is amazing!! The beers are fantastic! It's a very nice place to have a good beer in the town centre in Amsterdam! The atmosphere is great... Beautiful people... Very cozy place!! All beers that I tasted was a full explosion of flavours! Price is good as well. Staff are very friendly. Food is great... If you want to have a good beer.. that's the place.

I had a few minutes to spare before catching a train from Amsterdam centraal to the airport, so stopped off here due to it's great location. The service, atmosphere and beer were good. A range of about 9 beers were available on tap when I visited.

Amazing brewery with local crafted beer, delicious food (I strongly recommend the bitterballens). And… they have a beautiful cause. See the picture that explains it. For me, this brewery is a MUST.

We were looking for somewhere to have a quick drink and snacks, when we found this place near our hotel. The staff is very diverse and everyone was very nice. Lots of options for beer and food. Price is coherent and the portions are huge. The only con is probably that there are lots of american clients that shout and make a lot of noise.

One of the best breweries i have ever visited. Excellent beers. Food was a pleasant surprise, Bitterballen and Kaassoufflé from heaven. I discovered this place last day of my trip at Amsterdam but it will be the first thing to visit when i come again.

The micro brewery “Brouwerij de Prael” was one of the major highlights on our trip. For €12 we got a set of four pre-defined beers for a beer testing incl. nuts and water and very friendly service. The place had a really nice atmosphere and accommodated both young people, elder people and families. The place serves other foods than just snacks, which was a surprise to me. The absolute best thing about this place, is the fact that the company takes on a great social responsibility. The employees working there are excellent at their job, but might previously have faced difficulties in finding their place in the workforce. Very nice that they are can work there and not something that we had expected before we went to the brewery. The place can be tricky to find as it is placed down a narrow alleyway. Look for the bright white illuminated sign and you won’t miss it.

This hidden gem is a MUST visit for anyone who loves beer — especially local beer. The staff was friendly when we arrived, recommended to order their 4-beer flight (which they get to choose for you), and they have a dozen of more board games to play with friends. Did I mention the beer tastes amazing?! Finally, the place is frequented by locals rather than tourists so the atmosphere is more of a relaxed one. Definitely recommend you visit this Microbrewery in the heart of Amsterdam

Nothing in common with De Prael in Den Haag. The only similar thing is the good bier. The atmosphere here is not quite nice, the prices are way higher (most probably because is in the center of Amsterdam)

Very cool place, well decorated. Beers were tasty, although a friend of ours paid for our beers too on his way out, without telling us, and when we've asked for the bill the didn't mention anything, so we paid 18€ twice.

In my review it is about the chicken wings... guys... one of the worst I have ever had in my life. They were... boiled...not fried ! Omg just a single recall of the taste and I want to vomit immiedately. Sorry but please remove them from the menu!. Beer is cool and tasting highly recommended. 😋

The menu is great and reasonably priced. The beer tasting offers 4 different beers. We liked all of them ☺️.

I visited twice during a visit to Amsterdam, once for just drinks and once for food as well. The beer list is very good with craft beers brewed on site. The food options are also excellent, hearty and gold quality. The bar is spacious and surprisingly light and airy. There are some stairs to navigate for most seats and the toilets. For a combination of good craft beer and good food to go with it, I'd definitely recommend

Large selection including Dutch varieties like Lentebok. Marzen is solid, Rauchbier was well balanced but the Kinky Koos Spiced Saison stood out with just a hint of basil. Weissbiergunder was surprisingly good, never even heard of a wheat beer fermented with grape juice. The snackplatter added to our enjoyment.

A big choose of the beer. It’s worth to visit if you are a huge fan of the craft beer. The place is in a good location which is the closest microbrewery to the Central Station.

We found this place by mistake given the fact that is on an alley hidden from the Main Street, but do not let that fool you. The staff is really friendly, they hire people from different backgrounds and all have a story to tell, the beer is amazing and locally crafted and they were nice enough to cook for us even if the kitchen was closed. So if you’re in Amsterdam you must pass by and be sure to leave a nice tip, it is worth it.

I don't like giving negative reviews, but here goes. Made a reservation for lunch, got there and the pub was practically empty. The woman at the door kinda laughed at me when I said I had a reservation, and then took the 4 of us to the worst possible table in the place, it literally hanged over a steep staircase and was on the main passage (I repeat - the place was nearly empty). The waiter came 3 times to confirm our order and then still forgot a side dish. The food was ok at best. The stew was tasty but it came with fries which is the most ridiculous combination ever (my mistake for not spoting it on the menu). Stew should come with mashed potatoes or rice or dumplings that can absorb the sauce. To top it off, I got a fork to eat it with, no spoon! The meat ball sandwich was mediocre and the sausage is a kid's portion, there should be two, not one. The atmosphere was subdued. At least the beer was good.

The place is big and have nice vibes, ideal for groups. The staff is friendly and proactive. They have a nice variety of drinks and food. There is a slight waiting time around 20 minutes. The portion sizes are different. For example, the dish with rice was smaller than some other plates, but the quality is good. The food tastes good, but not the best. However, it's a really good place for the price!

Comfort place, old style British Pub with choice of craft beer from tap. Interesting place and in fact I revisited the shop two times during the trip to try out all option of beer available. Funny and recommended.

Very nice location and delicious self-made beer! The place was very crowded early Friday evening. So I recommend to go there quite early, even when you are a group of four persons without reservation. I also recommend to try the tasting of four different kinds of beer. They will come with a glass of water and some snacks!👌🏻

Good beer, good pub food but really slow service. I had to go from the restaurant to the bar to get someone to serve us. Plus one waiter was particularly arrogant for some reason. Still, we had a good night.

Wonderful place, very positive vibes! The staff is incredibly friendly, the beer is amazing and dining is very good too. We spent a great evening there and would come again without hesitation. N.B: You can have a very nice beer tasting (4 sorts of beers + water + peanuts) for 12 euro. Moreover, the waiters give you small shots of beer when you are not sure what to order. Really great experience!

Highly recommend! Amazing micro brewery with a large number of site brewed beers on tap. The beers were each distinctive in taste and excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and the tastes we ordered were delicious!

This is huge place and is a really nice restaurant by the way. There you can find some of the standard beer style but also some of the complex from this micro- brewery. It’s busy must of the time so I recommend to arrive early or try to get a reservation.

Cozy brewery but our experience wasn't that great. We were received by a very friendly waiter who sat us down at the bar. However, the waiter that served us behind the bar was a bit rude like he didn't want to attend us because we weren't locals. As people that are into craft beers, we felt they were ok but not great. We ordered bitterballen and we liked the dish. All in all, because of the unfriendly waiter and the average beers, I wouldn't recommend the place.

Cute little brewery in the city center of Amsterdam. Beer was very good. Bill was 12€ tipped up 13€ but the Bartender gave in 15€ that's why it's 4/5 stars

One of my favourite places in Amsterdam for sure. Staff is amazingly friendly and very particular, there is a super long list of beers to taste and it’s easy to feel like home after few minutes.

We had an event in the separate space of the Prael. It was a great experience! The food was great, beers were tasty (I can recommend the IPA!) (and the fact that they were produced on the spot and in a social way makes it very authentic) and the service was very friendly. We did a tour through the brewery, which I can really recommend! It's amazing to see how De Prael connects and supports the less fortunate in Amsterdam. Keep up the good work, I will for sure come back!

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
