Great place. Amazing views. I had a drink and ordered a second lemonade for my late wife Julie...I sat by the windows and watched the ferries.. imagining her being with me.. worth the price.. I took my rented Bike across the free ferry too . Very convenient.

A cool bar at the top, great views of Amsterdam, good story about the history of the island and the highest swing in Europe at the top. Its a cool place to go even if you don't go on the swing, we did it which was terrifying but enjoyed it at the same time. The light show on the elevator is an interesting extra, didn't try the food though. One of the must do things in Amsterdam.

One of the best experiences you can enjoy in the city. Being suspended in the air for 1 minute was great. I went in winter there were no queues, and I went directly to the swing. They give you a QR code that then gives you access to a video and photos that they take of you while you are swinging. Videos and photos must be paid to download them. The views from the roof are beautiful. Not suitable for people with fear of heights.

The view is quite nice. The price is decent for the experience that I get. Bought the ticket for going up the lookout, Heineken experience and the boat trip. Recommended buying tickets prior to going. You can take pictures for free and download it later. The elevator is an interesting journey

Unforgettable experience that definitely worth a try! I would recommend to book your tickets online to avoid crowd. I’ve bought the swing ride + rooftop view + 2 drinks and as for me it’s the best combination. The swing gave you some adrenaline then you walked around the rooftop to take amazing pictures of the panoramic view then your finial stop at the bar where you can calm down and enjoy your drinks. Loved it! 🔥🔥🔥

Nice place to visit if you have the time. The building is not very tall, but since Amsterdam is so flat and the buildings are small, you can see very very far! The swing is nice, but they only let you ride for like 10 seconds, which is awful.

I went in disbelief. I said, "18 euros just to go up to the viewpoint + 7 more to go to the swing...". Let me correct myself: I loved it. Even the elevator was an experience. Everything is in place so that you can enjoy an event, something you will always remember. If you are new here and want to know what's about, you will get free digital pics of everything you do. Scan a QR code, and there you are. Now, go to the swing. It's just a two or three-minute experience. Still, you will see the city from above with a unique perspective.

Went there to kill some time before dinner and it was nice. It was complimentary as we purchased i Amsterdam card - free ferry connection from central station and it was fun seeing the locals crossing the river in their bikes :) It was pretty packed the day we went - they had a photo booth at the middle of queue; right before we took the lift up. It was free for download and it’s a nice thought!

Awesome tower having the Adam’s swing and 360 degrees view at the top with such good breeze. Must be visited if you are in Amsterdam. Would recommend to rent the bike while crossing the both sides with ferry, good experience as well.

Amazing experience, see all of Amsterdam from a high point. Grab a drink, enjoy the scenery and the wonderful view.. You can try the breathtaking swing from up above, embrace the freedom and thrilling sensation. The tower has viewing telescopes which pinpoint at different historical places and give information about the places you observe. It truly is a must do when visiting this amazing city.

Excellent experience. Views are sensational. We went around 4.30 and saw the sunset. Free ferry from Central Amsterdam made it easy. We did the swing too, amazing!

Fun experience! Visiting A’dam Lookout is a great thing to do if you’re visiting Amsterdam. First of all you’ll have a great view of the city. Then you can also have a nice meal inside. Drinks are served inside and on the top deck. Then of course you have the swing. If you’re a thrill seeking person, go for it! The price for visit is worth it. Pros: - Fair price - Good food - Two bars - Good view - You can stay for how long you want - Swing (Europe’s highest) Cons: - Other side of the water - More for tourists rather than locals

This was so much cooler than we expected it to be! First off, you should buy a ticket ahead of time. The line to get in can be long so skip that and pre buy your ticket. The elevator ride up is very cool with a club light show and music. The doors open and then you're in an amazing club with views you won't believe. The service in the lounge is great and it's so fun to watch everyone taking pictures against the sky line. We went up the the rooftop and there was so many cool areas to take pictures and then the swing! This is a must do in Amsterdam, unless you are afraid of heights. If you are skip this one. For us, it was awesome!!

We purchased tickets online. It is reasonably priced and there was no time slot so we went in the evening. First, We had dinner at the restaurant upstairs, no reservation, no wait, food and view were amazing. There is an optional photo shoot before going upstairs to the lookout. Line moved very quickly. The swing is faster and higher than I thought it would be but it was awesome. They don’t take pictures or video on the swing in the evening and I wanted to purchase the pictures so I wish I would have known that. Thankfully my kid got a photo for us. All in all we had a great time and would do it again!

Had great views of the city even though the weather was terrible. The swing over the edge was thrilling to say the least. The VR experience I could have done without but lessened learned for next time. Had a good time here for a couple hours. I will definitely recommend to friends that they come take a swing over the edge

Great lookout with an awesome view of the city. They have a virtual reality option and a swing out over the edge of the building that we did not do. The views were good enough for us. There was a casual pub, a bar, and a nice restaurant. There was a free ferry that took us across the canal from Central station.

Unique place to be at. Wonderful views of Amsterdam, especially Centraal from height. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they explain you all details before buying the tickets. Separate tickets to get to top of building and for sitting on the swing. Both are worth it. There's a small bar on the top as well as a small souvenir shop at the start. Lift ride to the rooftop with light & sound effects is an added bonus!!

Swing was much slower than expected but has great views. Loved that they took pictures before you go up the lift. I recommend not wearing green as they take it against a green screen. The lift ride was smooth. Great views up top. No need to use the lockers as they come at a cost and the swing has a box for personal items.

Amazing place . You get free pictures when you get in . They have a big green screen and the pictures turned out good . The swing is thrilling it’s really high . Also people who work their take pictures of you . The best out of this experience was the light show in the elevator which is supper fast

It is a must-go when you visit Amsterdam. I bought a ticket to visit plus one for the swing for €19.50. It is worth the price, believe me. There are many options for the ticket that you can choose. The service is well-organized. The staffs are extremely friendly. You can view Amsterdam and take some great pictures there. ❗ They only accept card payments and there was no Wifi when I visited. P/s: The swing is highly recommended by me.

We had so much fun at A’dam Lookout! It’s the perfect place to go see sunset in Amsterdam. Just be aware that after that time there are no official photos taken in the swing but you ask anyone on the line to take photos! The views are breathtaking!! And even the bar has great views inside. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend this experience and make sure to book the swing experience too!!!

Great place to visit to see panoramic vies of the city. Very windy on the day we went so stayed on the inside. Atmosphere was nice but food did not look that good. Lift up and down a real sound and light show which adds to the experience

This is definitely something to book in advance to ensure you get the time and date you want. The staff are all very friendly and make the experience fun. The elevator up to the top floor is even exciting. On the top floor there are bean bags all round the building so you can relax and look out over the city. There is a small bar to buy drinks, slightly expensive but it’s up to you if you want alcohol. There is a queue to get on the swing, even with your booked time slot. Around 25ish people are in each slot. The swing ride lasts 2-3 minutes but it is so worth it for the views and experience. You don’t need to use the lockers to store your things as there are boxes to put things in while you are on the swing. Staff take photos and you are given a QR code to access these and buy them if you want. There are also fun photo opportunities on this floor if you don’t book the swing, so it’s all worth it

Fantastic experience & something I’d advise anyone to do if your in Amsterdam! We took a 2 minute journey across from the Central station to get here and it was very easy to find! All of the staff were friendly and gave you instructions on what to do. The roof terrace is lovely, there is a bar with great views and lots of fun photo points too. The swing itself was great, I would of liked for it to last a bit longer than 2 minutes however a great experience overall.

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed... Positive: the elevator ride is an experience with the light show and there is a cinema room that gives you a video about the tower and its history, what's in the tower, the ideas etc Also, there's a separate elevator for people who are vulnerable to epilepsy etc. Less positive: once you're up, it's not easy to find your way where you're supposed to go. The different music (cinema room, hallway, bar, deck, etc) clashed and made a lot of people nervous. We didn't buy the swing because weather was awful but other people who spoke to us said it wasn't as thrilling as they make it out to be and it goes slow. The view is nice but I guess I was expecting it to be 'more'? 20 levels isn't that high to be fair, so that's on me for not doing proper research. It's quite expensive for what it is. I can imagine that the experience is a lot nicer during summer times as I think they're are seating spaces outside on deck as well then? The bar was very crowded, drinks were pricey (I got two drinks included in my ticket: house wine, beer or soft drinks). There are limited seats in the bar and not all the staff was friendly (behind the bar was unpolite, but there was a woman going around and she was actually very nice). The crew letting you in and escorting you in the elevator wasn't that friendly, just rambled something and seemed to want to rush everyone to get them in/out asap. I've heard and read so many different opinions now, if you think you would enjoy it, just go. If you've been to Lookouts and swings in other countries then maybe just leave it.

Great view over the city, certainly very windy. We also tried the swings - pretty funny, € 5 for about 3 min. They make pictures of you, but of course you have to pay a lot for it. As a whole it is worth to go there.

A must visit when in central. You get a 360 degree view of Amsterdam and the view of Amstel river flow. Their lift with light effects, VR experience and the swing are super cool experiences that you can cherish. The views from the top are spectacular during sunset.

Amazing ride on the swing! We also got great pictures for about 25 euros. We waited for over an hour then waited some more on the line. The ride is only for 2 minutes but it’s kinda scary but good scary lol. It’s kinda pricy but it’s something you do once in a lifetime. Employees are organized & helpful. You get directions and be served on time. While waiting we enjoyed our drink. Non-alcohol drinks available at the bar. Great experience.

Pro tip - buy your tickets as you will save 1-2 Euro and also get the drinks package as well :-) The elevator ride is super funky Colorful - and the view is amazing! You can ride the swing - didn’t do it but there is also a part in the Bar, where you can look down :-) Highly recommend this and you should check it out!

Amazing experience! You have to do this when you are in Amsterdam! The Lookout itself was amazing, there was so much you could do up there and the view over Amsterdam was breathtaking. You can sit outside and enjoy some drinks at the outdoor bar or you can eat and drink something at the restaurant inside. Of course, we also tried the swing. Don't be afraid, it's not as frightening as it looks. The VR rollercoaster was also a wonderful experience. In the basement, there is also a VR gaming center.

We saw the swing when we were on a boat tour and immediately booked on. You had to pay to go to the lookout and then pay an additional fee for a ticket for the Over the Edge swing. It seemed a bit pricey however it was fab! The views were incredible and the swing itself was great fun. We were given tokens to get a free drink each in the cafe and could use this on any drink! Obviously you couldn’t take photos on the swing but staff did this for you and there was an option to purchase however many you wanted at the end of the trip. There was no pressure to buy but we did get one of us on the swing (just to prove we’d been brave enough to have a go!!). Got the free ferry from the Central station and then it was just a short walk to the tower. Well worth a visit!

  • 5/5 CCG G. 6 months ago on Google
So much fun! Definitely book in advance so ensure you have a timed entry. Once there, the attendant will take a few pictures of you on the swing and then they will give you a photo card where you can download photos of you launching into the air for free. I liked that detail. There are a few bars on the rooftop so after your adrenaline rush, you can unwind with a beer or cocktail! A great time!

This is really an adventurous amazing place for extreme sports lovers. One should reach at the top and try that swing. Due to limited time we just visited outside and we had to catch train . This is must do thing if you are a sports lover. And not afraid of heights.

Panoramic view of the city. Best part is the swing which is the highest swing to witness and feel the adrenaline.

  • 4/5 Binxu748er 2 years ago on Google
Offers great view over Amsterdam from the inside and the outside platform. Price may be a little high but fair enough. One can also jump into a swing that swings you over the edge of the building, for a little extra money. The telescopes can be used for free.

A great place for any age. The views are outstanding. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend trying the swing 👌 I was so scared my heart was beating out of my chest.
