Amazing location in one of the best and most beautiful areas of Amsterdam. Rooms are absolutely lovely and have a nice balcony, even the small rooms are so quaint and have space to walk around and have an amazing view outside. The staff is so so nice, especially the brothers, they are really kind and very helpful.

Our small child had a birthday while staying at the hotel. She happily announced this to the front desk. After a great day out, we returned to a bundle of chocolates and snacks in our room in honor of our five-year-old child’s birthday. Classy.

Nice family run hotel with amazing staff who impressed from the minute the booking was made. Clear instructions were given for directions to the hotel, and queries were responded to promptly. The hotel is in a great location, near museums and boutique shops. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly too.

Amazing stay for a long weekend. Extremely well positioned, very comfortable and clean. Everyone so friendly and a great choice at breakfast including gluten free bread. Will stay here again when we go back. Thank you!

Beautiful, Cozy, Boutique hotel in a lovely and quiet part of town. Warm reception from desk. It started to rain and Rick gave me an umbrella

I came to Amsterdam for my birthday and staying here really added to the happy and wonderful experience I had. This hotel was beautiful and quaint, the room was warm and comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff were also so kind to give me a birthday treat too. Highly recommend and a great find, especially because the location is so ideal.

do stay here. it’s in a quiet place but close to central. i am so impressed already by the service and i’ve been here a few hours! the room is spacious, the staff are incredibly attentive.this is unique to amsterdam and has qualities that most hotels here do not. update: i ended up getting quite sick with food poisoning and they helped me immensely. the maid made me tea and cleaned my bathroom spotless. the receptionist is helping me get my ordered food up to my room without me having to leave. wonderful help after my 4 night stay, here are all pros and cons i can think of. -good breakfast, with pancakes included which i have found to be a rarity at 3 star hotels. -very helpful reception. especially a particular young woman. i don’t know her name but i believe she wears glasses. -helped me when i was sick with room service -good shower pressure and temperature -good sized rooms if you select comfort room (and bathrooms very spacious) -interestingly designed rooms too, a lot of character -nice teas including herbal tea and coffee saches provided -comfortable bed -they leave croissants next to the water after breakfast! -quiet area, wasn’t kept up by noise -close to centre some cons -the lamps on the sides of the bed were quite dim. -i possibly got bitten. i don’t think it was bed bugs but possible mosquitos since they don’t have AC, and had windows open at night.

We stayed at Hotel Aalders in April. We had a beautiful and clean room overlooking the garden. The receptionists were helpful with local recommendations for shops and restaurants that were not touristy. Hotel Aalders made our stay extra comfortable!

Stayed only 1 night in the small room and was a good experience. The location is fantastic, room clean, staff friendly. Decided to have the breakfast there only and didn't regret. The options were enough for any taste, of course, who doesn't expect to have million of options. John was very friendly and didn't even ask to leave when we cross the timeline of breakfast. We also could left safetely our bagpacks and enjoy the city till evening. Definitely can recommend it.

Excellent hotel! The best option for your trip to Amsterdam. Very close to the museums and the bus from and to the airport. Excellent breakfast with eggs, cheeses, some vegetables, fruits, and more. Confortable rooms :)

Small-classic hotel in Amsterdam, and definitely recommendable! #1 Great location near to museums, central, park, and some other local hip-places as well. Also, street around the hotel seems safe :) #2 Small, but well managed and clean! Room is clean. I can say that the facilities in this hotel are under control and well managed. #3 Friendly staff. The lady at the reception for the daytime is born to be hotelier. Super nice and willing to help me to know about the city! If you are a solo-traveler who is a bit afraid of new place, I would like to recommend this place. It was nice staying in a traditional Amsterdam house style hotel :)

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. They offered a lot of good advice for our stay. The hotel had a very nice location, where all the major attractions were within walkable distance. It was also very easy to reach from the airport. Just use line 397 which leaves almost every 10 minutes. The room at the hotel was tiny. Especially the toilet where, coincidentally, the shower had a nice size (+ good water pressure). It would have been nice to have some more storage space, but given the size of the room, this was not possible. Also the bed was a 3/4, which was a bit too small. Breakfast did not change over the 5 days we stayed there. The hotel offered a very classic and standard breakfast: cereals, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice, and pancakes. It was OK for our stay, but began to get boring by the end. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay there in the future when I return to Amsterdam.

Staff were great, very helpful at check-in with tips of must do & see nearby, maps provided etc. Location is excellent within easy walking 🚶‍♀️ distance to many attractions. Breakfast was very good & again Breakfast staff very helpful & friendly. Bonus was the information given to catch Bus 397 direct to Schipol Airport for only $6.50 Euro. Cheap & quick with dedicated bus lanes. Only downer for me was the bed was far too firm, but others may like that, for me it meant virtually no sleep.

Beyond brilliant birthday stay!! This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Just off a quiet street in the museum district, lovely and peaceful. The staff were simply amazing we were greeted with warmth and genuine smiles which were there from start to finish. We stayed in the double deluxe room just wow!!! I loved everything🤩🤩🎉🎉 Super comfy bed, great sized bathroom products. The cleaning staff at this place need a huge thanks because we were there for 4 days and everyday we came back to our room it was spotless and fresh. The staff and friendly feel of this place was truly special. I cannot believe this place is not a 5 star ⭐️ My mum stayed in a single which was lovely too.

We loved our stay here, perfect for our 2 night stay, located right in the museum square, our welcome on arrival at reception and for the whole trip was so warm and friendly, we were made feel at home right away and got a great description of the city!! We arrived super early but we're allowed check in as our room was ready and we're even upgraded to a bigger room, the room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was the perfect location to explore from and right around the corner from a tram to the centre of the city! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend! Thank you Hotel Aalders! 😁

From the warm welcome we received on arrival, to the spotless room with ample space for our family, to the excellent location, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Aalders. A very short walk to the tram and the 397 bus stop to/from Schiphol Airport. Great hotel!

Very Friendly Staff, Amazing Location. Beautiful Building. Incredibly Clean. Only Negative Is Its Quite Noisey in The Mornings Due To The Hotel Being Quite Small/Old/Thin Walls. Would 100% Stay Again, Was Ideal For A Single Traveller Over a Weekend.

This hotel was perfect for our trip! Great location by all the museums and a quick walk or tram ride to nine streets and lots of dining. Very walkable to everywhere we wanted to see. Clean rooms and very friendly staff.

Hotel is located on a quiet street. Excellent for price and value. I give this a 5 star since I put a premium on quietness of the room. No AC hum and even with windows open there is minimal street noise as my room opens to a courtyard. Staff very helpful and personable. Showers great with toiletries. I can’t comment on breakfast. Location good for museum access.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Amazingly special ambiance. Defect views from window. Delightful breakfast. Yea, not the biggest room in the world. But how much time do you really want to spend in the room when in Amsterdam? It’s perfect. Thank you to kind and helpful staff.

😐 It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night. Also noisy because of the "cigarette smokers". There are no rules and regulations - or if t...
