This is an amazing hotel! For couples and family. It is located in a very quiet street but yet beautiful by the cannal and 3 min walk from Dam Square. The rooms are very big, super clean! You have a safe in the room, kettle, coffee, tea and lots of storage room. The staff are super nice and welcoming! We celebrate a birthday while staying and they helped us a lot with cakes and balloons. They packed our last breakfast for the flight. Overall - amazing place, highly recommended!!

I did not stay at the hotel but stopped in for a single-origin coffee. The cakes looked spectacular plus were homemade so I indulged in a carrot cake. My entire experience was outstanding. Excellent service, gorgeous shop, delicious smooth coffee and the cake was phenomenal- not too sweet, just perfect. I would definitely stay here next time so that I have this perfect cafe available at any time ๐Ÿ’œ

Our stay was HORRIBLE : the mattresses were full of bed bugs, my family and I got bitten all over, the room was so dirty. The staff kept denying, they are liars and thieves. RUN AWAY FROM THAT PLACE.

I recently stayed at 't hotel for 5 nights with my husband and cannot recommend it enough! The hotel is small but in the perfect location on a quiet canal street. We were never more than a 20 minute walk from where we wanted to go, and if we were, we rented bikes that the hotel offered a discount on. The hotel staff was also fantastic! One night of our stay we didn't have a dinner plan so we asked for help and Victor at the front desk called all the restaurants for us so he could speak Dutch and find out if a table was available. We really appreciated it. If I make a trip back to Amsterdam, I will absolutely be staying here again!

Very nice smooth and fruity cold brew, the gluten-free chocolate cake is absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and cozy ambiance.

The 't Hotel was beautiful. Our canal view room was just as pictured on the website. I gave it an 4 overall stars because of a few things. The stairs were extremely steep and would be hard for elderly, persons with certain handicaps, or large luggage. The shower in our room did not drain well and neither did the sink. We apparently set off the fire alarm our first night because we took too hot of showers. Hotel staff came to our room at 10:30pm and knocked saying we had set off the alarm and asked if we were smoking. Neither my husband nor I smoke cigarettes or anything recreational. We also never even heard the alarm so if there were a true fire, it worries me we wouldn't have heard the alarm. The staff said they could tell the alarm was set off in our room because of the light indicator on the alarm panel. We opened the windows and didn't have any other issues with that. The front desk is only manned between 8am and 9pm so if you need to leave early or arrive later than 9pm, make sure to tell hotel staff before your arrival. We had an early train out and hadn't told them we needed to leave early. We left the room keys (which are actual door keys, not a card) in the room and had no way to lock it when we left. Thankfully I reached the staff at 8am just before getting on the train and they were totally fine with the way we departed.

Very nice hotel, I enjoyed my stay here with my sister. It is very well located (not far from all tourists attractions, we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel). Staff is very friendly, and breakfast are very good. We enjoyed the decoration of the place, in a cocooning atmosphere and very peaceful. Thank you to all the team!

The room (blue color interior) I was given faces the courtyard so it was quiet and good for sleeping. The heat is through radiator and it turned off early morning while sleeping so got a bit cold. The bathroom is modern. The hotel space is pretty tight but that's just because of the building which I was told is skinny all around Amsterdam. The stairs are steep so you have to be extra careful lugging large size belongings. The staff was AMAZING. So helpful and nice. Never a hint of showing that they found me a bother when I chatted with them multiple times. That is a key difference between good and bad customer service.

Very disappointing customer service. Please be careful - ONLY book through booking.com. This hotel is totally inflexible on bookings despite Covid restrictions. Hid behind policy and suggested they were going bankrupt. They had our money and we even offered to pay to transfer the booking so makes no sense. DO NOT BOOK DIRECT

We only visited the cafe/lunchroom. Service is excellent. Just be willing to be patient (cause theyโ€™re also a hotel, you might have to share the staff). Coffees and teas are wonderful and the pastries are delicious. Highly recommended.

The coffee is amazing! We found the cafe by accident (we didnโ€™t stay at the hotel) but came back several times for coffee. By far the best coffee we had in Amsterdam in a nice quiet location with super friendly staff.

We stayed at 't hotel for 4 days. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They helped us with recommendations and public transport guidance. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee is the best we had in the entire trip. Rooms are well equipped and satisfyingly designed. The location is perfect. Close to central Amsterdam(Not to be confused with Amsterdam Centraal, the central station which is a 15 min walk from the hotel), in a quiet side street. This amazing hotel, combined with the very fair price is an easy recommendation. You're lucky if they have available rooms as it is a very small hotel.

Excellent hotel. Would stay again! My only comment would be regarding the staircase. The building is very old and the staircase is rather precarious by modern standards. So be extremely careful while navigating the staircase !

I was booked during COVID and had to cancell. All the other hotels refunde my money or chancellery the reservation. But this hotel acknowledged that they would take care of it but never return my calls or emailed me.

๐Ÿ˜ It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night.
