Not luxurious, but very comfortable, accommodating and run by friendly, kind owners. Shared bathrooms and kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and secure, quiet surroundings. Its a budget stay, but doesn’t feel like a backpacking stop.

Better than we expected! Hosts were welcoming and explained everything we should know in great details! The room design has high attention to details which makes the places unique, cozy and really like at home. Even snacks are the next level if comparing to any average b&b/hotel. The bed was comfortable though I prefer firmer ones it was a good sleep. If comparing to hotels if the same price level — Anna houseboat wins with no doubts

One of the best place to stay in Amsterdam. Excellent position: Just 10 minutes to the Central Station by walking. Close to the red light Clean, comfortable, cosy and very clean. It makes you feel like home. Hope to get back soon X

On the site they declared that no animals are allowed but they have two cats, the room is really small, almost claustrophobic, in the boat there is a bad small due to the product they use are there's no fresh air. The boat is shared and there are others people stuff and groceries around. The location is not one of the best, the service is just apparently kind, my mom had an allergic reaction to their cat and we couldn't stay there, they gave us a map of the city and made us pay.

disclaimer: i may be biased, and forgetful, writing this years later from my first trip to Europe and only one to Netherlands so far, while re-encountering my wife after 5 months apart (too long) ... but... this was amazing! easy to find, walking distance from main train station, right in the heart of ams. awesome host, very cozy space, all just perfect.

It’s absolutely beautiful on the boat, it’s much bigger than the pictures show, ideally located near to central station. The owner has spent a lot of time to get the boat looking as lovely as she does. We would definitely stay again.

The Anna Houseboat was a wonderful place to stay. My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 days and couldn't have been happier. Our host was very helpful, going as far as to walk us through a map of the city. He provided a simple yet sufficient complimentary breakfast as well as a concessions for late nights when you don't want to wander back in to town. The TV in the room is also set up to a computer allowing you free access to Netflix and other Streaming devices. The boat itself was comfortable and well kept as well as being located right outside the City Centre. I would highly recommend the Anna Houseboat for any and all looking for a unique place to rest between adventures in Amsterdam.

Last week my Girlfriend and I stayed at Anna houseboat and it was the best decision we could have made. Alexandra was stepping in for Thijs and Dawn and made us feel extremely welcome. The boat is well located with a nice view from the roof-balcony to eat, chat and relax on. There was everything on board we could have wanted and more. We recommend this place as a more familiar and atmospheric alternative to any hostel or Airbnb. Thank you for a great time, we hope to come back soon!

Owned and managed by a couple who live in the boathouse too. This means it's clean with a lot of the little touches which make it welcoming and homey or romantic (depending on your perspective) whilst respecting your privacy. Wide range of breakfast ingredients and condiments also included

Wonderful houseboat with two cabins and lovely staff. Their bikes a 5€ a day so you can be anywhere in the center within 10 minutes. Loved it :)

👍 I am giving a four star as they ran out of waffles. Otherwise it would have been a 5! This place has a dark, wooden, maximalist interior which suits the cafe perfectly. Surround by barrels and a barrage of beer choices, I came for the brunch as it was recommend on Google. Service was friendly and a...
