If you want to get assaulted by the door guys then this is the place for you! Been here many times, there seems to always be fights either between patrons or between the door guys and customers. Avoid this place if you're over the age of 21, or if drunk aggressive people is not your thing. Typical douche bar in Amsterdam with bells and lights and whistles, terrible music, drunken idioots looking to pick a fight, and big egos. Much better places to go in the city.

This small cafe and club is great for a night out in Amsterdam. It is very busy here, so arrive on time. The music they play here is a mix of R&B and hip-hop house. The only downside was that my new jacket was put on afterwards. Security helped me with a vain search for my jacket. Later they called a taxi for me.

Never go there. Food was sucks and the all of the staff members are racists. They should be ashamed of themselves. Their personality is the worst in the world.

I recommend everyone to avoid this bar. Guests are expressly not welcome there. Even as a paying guest, you are not allowed to use the toilet unless you pay for it again. 0.50 euros, that's outrageous for paying guests, but that alone wouldn't be a reason to complain. Keyword wasted life. If it weren't for the fact that the amount can only be paid in cash. If you want to pay by card - as is common everywhere in Amsterdam - you have to pay a hefty 3 euros. You then have unlimited access. Wow! It's just stupid if you want to leave the store shortly afterwards and don't have any cash - because you don't need it anywhere in Amsterdam. The employee doesn't care, she doesn't let the guest through and violently throws him out when he tries to relieve himself. You can do it - but you can also just avoid this shop.

I can't believe someone got kicked out right in front of my eyes just because they spilled a drink on him.... Crazy, I left right away to stay out of trouble :/

Very obvious discrimination from the door men, all white people were allowed to enter without questions, and i was asked to pay 10€ for entry. I did not believe at first its racisim untill i read the other comments here.

Me and my friends visited this cool cafe on a weekday and the experience was amazing, vibe was nice, good music to dance, happy crowd so overall it was good.

Unbelievable service. Kicked us out because we didn’t have 50 cents for the toilet. Worst service ever. Very aggressive doorkeepers who were pushing and smashing us for no reason!

A really bad place we made the queue and they asked as for a tip since we were Spanish and not Duch

bouncer realised we were 2 boys not Dutch and asked for a tip of at least 10€ but everyone else just could go in for free

The very best thing about this place is th fact it closes later than most other bars and clubs. The prices are decent and you get what you pay for. The unfortunate thing is however that I had some bad experiences with the staff; their policy is no water after a certain hour when I was asking as a polite paying customer, had to pay 10 euros extra to get my bagage back (my bag was empty so I couldn't name anything that was inside it, and I couldn't remember in which pocket my gloves where in my jacket)

Unfortunately, due to Corona, you can't dance there at the moment and the drinks are, like in all of Amsterdam, overpriced, otherwise the atmosphere is quite nice. The service was very friendly and bought us a round!

Front guys can be unfriendly but in general people that go there are nice, open-minded and in for a party. It can get quite busy on Saturdays, so then you won't easily get in anymore

The men behind the bar are definitely worth staring at. Drinks are good and if you tip the bar well, you will have wonderful service all night. The Place is a crazy, fun, disco-dance party. Flashing lights, great dj, fun atmosphere. My sister and I had a blast! Hangover the next day sucked though. Haha.

If you are not dutch, you have to pay entrance fee, other people get in for free, racists.

It was already busy in the 90s. You had to keep coats with you. One day the staff was nice, the next day not. Also very different music of course! But when there were too long lines outside and people were getting ahead of me, I was done with it. Security has always been strict there! Still had fun! Certainly!!!

For me not worth going here. Bubbles similar. At Rembrand the staff and energy is better. Security is fine, but they need to not blindly believe women. It’s dumb women can lie without repercussions.

We were denied saying that the private parties were going inside. Every white person allowed without any questions. So much for being the great western country, racists still work at these clubs. Avoid them go to some other Latin ones nearby.

the bouncers were just annoying with the two of them, making fun of everyone and being very very rude. The bar man was very slow and inconsiderate, while it helping others but ignoring the rest. The bar was also full with people under 18 years old. not recommended!

Accidentally lost the ticket for the cloakroom. Instead of being able to resolve it properly, I am yelled at and thrown out of the case. Too busy and can barely move.
