🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Amazing club in Amsterdam and one of my favourites. The club it self offers several parties, own ones and from other labels. Service is always top, good club atmosphere and sound is really good in all floors. Drinks are quick and Amsterdam - typical pricy.

I came all the way from Belgium for the Stephan Bodzin gig and overall it was a nice 1st time experience visiting 'The Marktkantine'. This is a well managed club, there was strict Covid Pass control at the entrance (which I highly support) and a strip-search. The atmosphere in the club felt very safe due to all the applied safety measures. I especially liked the different levels in the venue so you can either enjoy a gig closely from the pit or have a more relaxed stand on the balcony. Impressive soundsystem and sparse but efficiently used light gear. The only downside of the Stephan Bodzin gig was the overwhelming amount of decibels produced and noticeable distortion at times. i would surely not recommend standing in the pit or even further back without ear protection. Aside from this small negative, a highly recommendable club (see short impression video Stephan Bodzin gig).

I have visited this club for the first time 2 years ago. Now it has become a routine of ours. Whenever in Amsterdam, we go to de marktkantine. Music is so good you could stay there forever.

Very good DJ's but poorly organized. We did always adjust to the Corona rules but danced on the spot our stool was and got literally shouted at for that. Also no way to go for a cigarette atm. Also got ensured that we got a table for 6 when checking in but 5 minutes later the 3 missing friends were not allowed in anymore because the tickets were sold to others. They did let other people enter afterwards, maybe friends of the manager etc...

There are no words to describe how great that club was. Unfortunately when i got there I was on antibiotics... But I've never been to a club sober and still enjoy myself to the max and stay until the end. The DJ was amazing and the music touched my soul. The light show gets more and more complex and better, as the night progresses. The club supports up to 1500 people. Huge dance floor and right around the DJ. Balcony all around. Bars on each level. The friendliest staff. Now for tips: you can only pay by card, you can ask for tap water and it's free and the the bathroom is mixed gender, so, be prepared for that. Enjoy !!

This venue is amazing. They have two stages, a chill-out spot where the music in much lower and where they also serve food! They have a lovely smoking area with tables and enough room to seat a lot of people. There are lockers for 2euros and lots of bathrooms. Very good place for a party.

This place has a lot of bars that you can buy your drink from so it is very convenient. There is a lounge that you can take a break from the party in there. But it can get really busy! I think the tickets were sold were more than the capacity of the place. It was very warm and crowded. I could enjoy more if there were less people.

I always meet amazing souls there and have the sickest time. The bathrooms are unisex and free. There are always some sweets at the exit to take. The smoking area is outside and there is always a vibe. On busy nights there is a sitting are with couches, cool rugs and trippy lights where you can go relax and it is really something to experience. Drinks are average priced - a beer is €3 and a vodka and redbull €10. VEGANS BEWARE THE BEER ON TAP IS BUDWEISER. The dance floor is big and there is always enough space to dance to the best DJ’s. The only negative about De Marktkantine is that it ends at 05:00 and not 07:00 :( Remember to always be friendly and positive here and everywhere you go!
