👍👍 Super tasty food and friendly staffs. Strongly recommend the soup (vegetarian one I guess), tastes special and unforgettable, the ingredients are also fresh and with mixed nuts. Super tasty food and friendly staffs. Strongly recommend the soup (vegetarian one I guess), tastes special and unforgettable, the ingredients are also fresh and with mixed nuts. The location is also nice, a lot of shops nearby. It’s a good option if you wanna explore the city and go shopping! Nice restaurant in town!

Nice restaurant directly at one of the Grachten with a nice view. Was quiet despite the location. Good choice of drinks and side dishes but limited choice for main dishes. Food quality and amount was pretty good, but it is rather expensive. Nice service.

Cafe next to one of the canals. We went there for lunch and to sit outside (you can also sit inside). They have blankets on the chairs so you don't freeze too much in Winter. We had a coffee, a coke and two sandwiches, all of which were okay. Service was friendly and quick.

We had coffee and then decided on the spot to have an early dinner as well. One dish was good, the other one rather mediocre. When we arrived we liked the place but when we left it was taken over by young loud groups.

Was informed by the staff that ownership had just changed, which made a bit of sense. Ordered the angus burger and received a cold vegan (beyond meat maybe?) patty, cheese that wasn’t melted, on a stale bun. My wife ordered an eggplant dish that was simply undercooked zucchini, parmasean, and mayonnaise. Speaking with staff wasn’t possible, as no servers were present, and when they were, we were ignored. Definitely disappointing and would not recommend.

We visited this cafe on Dec 26 with my kids, we were seated for about 10 mins and nobody approached us and while we were seated and while we were waiting for a waiter, another family came in ( Dutch) and they were taken care in less than a minute. It was a very unpleasant experience when finally a girl approached us even as we said we speak English she answered in Dutch so we decided it was better to leave as we didn’t feel welcome. The three people working there that day looked young and couldn’t be bothered. They should have a sign outside saying “ for Dutch people only” I don’t recommend this place to tourists at all!! Plus the menu options were not really outstanding.

Place was fine, but the staff tried to scam us into tipping them 10 euros without any prior agreement or notice. Just makes you question the integrity of the place.

We visited here a couple of times on our visit to Amsterdam. It's an elegant bar, with a touch of nostalgia for a bygone era. Staff are super friendly and attentive when called upon. The food is tasty with a little extra quirkiness. Highly recommend

The outdoor seating was great, it was near the canal. The hot chocolate tasted delicious. The location is great and easy to reach as it is in the centre of the city.

I really wanted to love the food but…I don’t know how they ruined half the dish? So it was called American Breakfast but it wasn’t American at all. It was literally a full English breakfast. They just added 1/2 pancake. Then they ruined the beans. Overcooked them into a mush and added something that made them bitter. The eggs were amazing! Sausages were good too. The mushrooms were dry. All in all not a great dish. And it’s easy to make. I dunno how they damaged it so.

Service was very slow (over 40 minutes of wait for our food), and the staff wasn't very friendly. I felt like the woman kept talking to me as if I was a kid. The quality of the food doesn't match the price unfortunately. Won't even let you order tap water. Lot's of better places you can go to! We were sitting on the terrace next to the canal, which was the only positive part of this experience.

Updated: I got a food poisoning, avoid this place. Steak was hard, service was slow, the dish was lazy in general, and the red wine was sour. On the bright side, the crowd was great, and espresso martinis were ok.

Great location right on canal Keizersgracht in centrum neighborhood of Amsterdam. The staff are nice and helpful however the food was unimpressive.

The terrace is nice, but the burger was not so good. The only thing that saved it was that it came with sweet potato fries by default

It was my first food stop in Amsterdam and it didn't dissapoint. The staff were lovely, location was great, food was good and they offered some Dutch food, unlike the rest of restaurants. The price was ok, same as everywhere else. I had croquettes with an amazing sause and we also ordered a burger and sweet potato chips which were all good. I would probably go back there.

It's a beautiful spot, and speaking as someone who used to come here 20 years ago delighted to see it still going! Great place to grab a drink by the canal, lunch was a bit hit and miss though... Octopus poke bowl very tasty but pretty minuscule in terms of tentacles!

For great food, an amazing view and an incredible service- come here! Once possible, we were seated at the beautiful window with the breathtaking view and any additional wish we had for our order was done beyond expectations, with care and a smile. Brilliant staff and manager- we will come again!

Had a late breakfast, and everything was just great! Even the ability to sit outside in March, together with some elder locals was doable bco infrared heating. Excellent!

Only had a Belgian beer with a few snacks on the terrace on a rainy evening. Nothing specific to say. Staff looked fine

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
