We booked the front row couch seats last minute and had a blast. Some of the best comedy entertainment we’ve experienced. So much fun would recommend!!

I had heard about Boom Chicago growing up in the US and it absolutely lives up to its incredible reputation! I have attended several shows with friends over the years and the cast never fails to make us laugh. Everyone loves it! Since moving to Amsterdam it has also served as such a wonderful slice of home. Highly recommend for any fans of comedy, and any American expats who are looking for some familiar entertainment.

Went for the comedy festival and had an amazing time. These people are legit. Such great improv. It was amazing to see Seth Meyers and Amber Ruffin live. What an amazing theater to have in Europe. Highly recommended.

For English comedy in Amsterdam this is the place to go! We saw a show in the main theatre which was beautiful and had table service. Funny cast, super friendly staff, would recommend. Lots of Americans working there!

Boom Chicago is a comedy powerhouse, celebrating 30 years in Amsterdam. Their strengths are comedy improvisation and especially musical improvisation. You may have heard of Boom Chicago from some of their famous alumni like Seth Meyers, Jordan Peele, the stars of 'Ted Lasso.' Well, this new bunch of talent might be next on your tv screens.

Great night guaranteed! Attended Shot of Improv show, which takes place on the second floor of the venue. Cozy atmosphere and super witty & funny improvisations. Really enjoyed our time! Definitely coming back again:)

Boom Chicago is a brilliant place for comedy shows. Especially due to the number of English comedy shows. We went during their comedy week and had an amazing time. The staff are lovely. Hilarious comics. Also a great place for some drinks!

Boom Chicago is a fantastic comedy group and a great way to spend an evening in Amsterdam. The cast of Boom bring a variety of talents, from singing to rapping (all improv), and they will sure to make you laugh! Expat, touristic or local, you will be sure to enjoy a show. Great show, wonderful comedians! Perfect evening, and splendid counterpoint to a day on the canals, shopping and museums.

Pep and Greg hilariously analyzed Dutch and US politics, turns out even politics can be funny! First time in the theater on the top floor, really cozy with great vibes. You can take your drink from the bar downstairs to the theater, there are small tables in between the chairs. In the bigger theater downstairs you can even order drinks inside, signaling by turning the light on the table. Also the venue with the bar is great by itself, with relaxing chairs and great cocktails, so coming in early is definitely recommended!

Great place for small events. We had organized stand-up comedy event with Zakir Khan and it was fun. Food options should be added but rest its all good. Crew is very cooperative and helpful. Back stage has great space for green room and other basic facilities.

The venue as far as staff, service, seating, audio quality are superb! The improv performance was a little cringe - I think It’s impossibly difficult to find chemistry between a cast for good improv 🤷🏽‍♂️

I had an absolute blast at Boom Chicago's improv comedy night! The performers were incredibly witty, surprising and creative. The intimate setting added to the fantastic experience. If you're up for a night of laughter, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!

The place is in a very nice and handy location in Amsterdam. You have to arrive about 10-15 min before the show. You can order your drink downstairs and bring it with you during the show. The room is kinda small but it does fit quite a lot of people. There are no pre-assigned seats but I think any seat is fine. The show itself was super funny! It only lasts one hour but it's definitely worth it. We had a very good time!

I went for the Friday night show and despite that I very much enjoyed the performance of the artists, I was also a bit disappointed. The guest comedian was not a great match to the main team and this, I believe, negatively affected the performance and made most parts just, not extraordinary. I have been to boom Chicago performances before and the performance of the main team are always much much more exciting and novel.

It’s a nice place for comedy shows. You can grab drinks beforehand. I find it to be expensive though. I would have also liked if regular seats were more comfortable.

We had the best time at Boom Chicago’s improv show. The cast was incredibly talented, we were laughing from start to finish. The atmosphere of the venue was great as well.

We went for a Comedy show (Steve Hofstetter) and he was great! Really great show, lots of good laughs and it was fun seeing him after wanting to for a while. The reason for 4 & not 5 stars is that we ordered drinks with table service during the show, and they forgot our drinks multiple times; not the biggest deal and they were super nice about it, but it was a bit annoying. The next thing is the seats we're VERY close together, so much so you were arm to arm with the next person. In addition to this, there weren't enough tables for people to share, so 60% is holding their food/drink, while the other 40% are attempting to share the other tables scattered around. Overall it was a great night, and I would come back to the venue again!

Boom Chicago is a comedy auditorium, with good seating capacity of around 240-250 people. I went there for the Comedy Show 'Be a Bassi' by Indian comic Anubhav Singh Bassi. Show was awesome thanks to Bassi charisma. I felt the seating arrangements were little cramped, especially the seats behind. Make sure to reach early and get the better seats, as it's mostly first cum first served, tickets were sold as generic without seat numbers. All in all, a decent place for a lovely evening. A bar is available for snacks and beverages with good options to choose from as well!

I had so much fun! It was a great improv night with lots of connection to the audience! Thank you for all the laughs 😊 Also, make sure to come early, it's full on Christmas-themed in coziest way at the moment and it's really inviting for a drink before the show
