Renessence
is
a
beautiful
and
tranquil
space
that
offers
the
perfect
break
from
Amsterdam's
hustle
and
bustle!
Having
previously
joined
the
infrared
yoga
class,
which
I
loved,
I
was
very
excited
to
try
out
one
of
their
treatments.
I
gifted
my
best
friend
a
duo
treatment
for
her
birthday
last
Saturday
and
the
massages
we
received
from
Nathalie
and
her
colleague
were
truly
exceptional;
they
were
both
skilled,
kind,
and
professional.
However,
despite
the
quality
of
the
treatment
being
great,
our
experience
was
a
little
bit
disappointing
besides
that.
We
arrived
at
2:35
PM,
10
minutes
before
our
scheduled
appointment
time
of
2:45
PM.
We
were
offered
to
have
a
cup
of
tea
in
the
waiting
area
first,
and
were
taken
to
the
treatment
room
at
2:45
PM.
After
quickly
using
the
restroom
and
preparing
for
our
massage,
we
began
at
2:55
PM.
While
it
may
seem
like
a
minor
delay,
it
did
have
an
impact
on
our
overall
experience.
We
booked
a
1-hour
treatment,
but
were
done
45-50
min
later.
Normally,
this
is
not
a
big
deal,
but
it
was
unexpected
and,
considering
the
price
of
the
treatment
(100
euros
per
person),
you
would
not
expect
it
to
be
cut
short
without
communication.
When
I
raised
this
with
the
hostess,
who
responded
in
a
condescending
way,
she
practically
schooled
me,
insisting
that
that
the
delay
was
our
fault.
She
said
it
was
due
to
the
time
we
spent
using
the
restroom
and
getting
ready
for
the
massage,
which
was
deducted
from
our
treatment
time.
In
previous
visits
to
various
spa
establishments,
I've
never
encountered
a
situation
where
the
time
spent
preparing
for
a
treatment
impacted
the
actual
duration
of
the
service.
Our
main
frustration
lies
in
the
lack
of
clarity
and
communication.
If
it
was
essential
for
us
to
be
on
the
massage
table
and
ready
for
treatment
by
precisely
2:45
PM,
the
staff
should
have
informed
us
of
this
when
we
arrived
at
2:35
PM.
It
seems
that
the
offer
to
have
tea
in
the
waiting
area
was
misleading,
as
it
suggested
we
had
more
time
than
we
actually
did.
Had
we
known
about
the
strict
timing
requirements,
we
would
have
proceeded
directly
to
the
treatment
room,
ensuring
we
didn't
inadvertently
shorten
our
€200
massage.
The
quality
of
the
treatments
was
excellent,
but
the
overall
experience
was
affected
by
a
lack
of
transparency
and
flexibility.
Clear
communication
about
timing
expectations
is
the
bare
minimum
in
an
upscale
facility
like
this.
