I enjoy going to this gym. It is very large and extends all the way back to the next block behind them. It's not too loud, not too crowded and a good selection of equipment. It could have more cardio equipment but there were plenty available when I am there. The place is very clean. Nice shower and sauna area upstairs. Well lighted, open and bright. The staff is minimal here but very friendly. The vibe is good here. The location is excellent. So close to the center. Price is right.

*update below* Hopefully I could put 0 stars DONT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM!!! - No customer support, have been trying to terminate contract for weeks, sending multiple emails without any response Horrible experience, would not recommend anyone to join such a bad managed gym *Update a month later* After transferring my membership to another person (only way to get out of it) and signing the papers one month ago I still got deducted the membership fee for this month. I went to the gym since this is a complete scam and to my (not) surprise the papers were in a pile sitting in the back, of course the paperwork was never touched nor processed, thus resulting in them taking again my money. Thankfully the receptionist helped me and sent an email himself (because FitForFree will never reply your personal email) and now I will have to wait another whole month to see if they care enough to process their paperwork. I think I have never had such a bad customer experience in my life. Please do not sign up here, don't waste your money

This gym is such a disappointment... the guys at the front desk, bartek and kenan are awesome, they are doing everything they can. But it seems that they are the only ones... every week there is something broken. Machines break down and it takes weeks until they are fixed, last time it was the rotary torso machine that was defect for weeks, and it is the only such machine in the gym. Last week they were fixing the stairs to the showers, and it took them like 5 or 6 days. All this time we couldn't use the showers, unacceptable! And they never ever compensate their customers for the inconveniences, we pay money to have a good work out and a shower. 2days ago, and after not being able to shower because of the new stairs, a new problem came up. The sauna area was blocked because of maintenance, and the guys who were supposed to come fix it, just didn't show up. One problem after the next, and the customer is constantly inconvenienced! Who is managing that place? How do you justify this complete lack of care for the people who pay your bills!! It feels like the head office doesn't really know what they are doing, and worse even, they don't care. It's unacceptable that every week there is something broken and we cannot make use of the services we pay for!! The roof in some places is leaking and they fixed it once, but it's leaking again, they put a bucket under it. And for days they have the bucket there. Is this India or Bangladesh? The worse thing is, that every now and then they close whole sections for renovations, which take weeks, during which we cannot make use of certain areas, so our money is going to waste, and then even after a while things break again and here we go all over again. It's a farce... things around fixes are so disorganized and nobody is accountable for any of that inconvenience.

Firstly, the men receptionist with piercing in the ears with no beard is rude to all costumers. Second, this gym has no costumer support. No one can solve anything. They advise you to solve by email but no one responds. Absolute garbage. Also, the equipments are old the gym smells bad

The gym really needs a renovation! The free weights area specifically. Don’t go there to bench press. You either need super long or super short arms. It’s not adjustable, unfortunately. Plus, there is only one bench press.

Almost really nice, in an old building with good soul… quite an aesthetically pleasing layout. Compared with other branch at Laibaansgracht, the sauna space is another level … with amazing chill rocking chairs … and 2 saunas … *** but the place f@&king stinks. And that kinda ruins it. Smells like a farm yard.

Good Value for money and the equipments work just fine, although not outstanding. The staff are in general quite friendly, except for the girl repeatedly mentioned in the reviews. Fail to understand how she still works there and how management can still tolerate one single employee pulling down the reputation of an otherwise good place. Get her out please!

Horrible. Rude staff, they can close you in the gym, enter while changing.. really dirty everywhere. Did I mention rude?! Now they are also closing clubs over weekend. Basically go for something else to save yourself. Can’t wait for this stupid contract to finish so I can get rid of this atrocious experience.

I've visited this gym on past visits to AMS. Every time there is a complication with the front desk person or the ability to use the gym on a daily basis. While the gym has all the basics you would expect the service level is not great. Two days in a row I tried to use the gym but found that they not only did not have change to give back when paying with bills they do not take credit cards. Each time, this trip and the previous trip, the desk person seemed confused and not eager to help. Thankfully there are other gym options. If they could sort out the service level and make it easier to pay for a day pass this would be a decent gym option.

Friendly and relaxed crowd, satisfactory facilities, great location in an old building. But the small sauna stinks and it's been like this for long... And add some hairdryers, it's winter!

Yoga teacher from this studio, Diana Stamate, scammed me and suddenly changed agreement without notice that was agreed before my payment. I contacted them a lot to help me. However, this studio didn’t help me at all, including Dominique. I lost around 70 euro by the scam. Never go to dirty sports club where teachers can scam you.

😠 Unfortunate to see my favourite gym constantly in disrepair. Often taking weeks to months before simple issues are fixed. Cleanliness is also not as it used to be - WCs become disgusting later in the day. Calling customer support wasn’t helpful so I thought I’d post my complaints here.
