Just a star for them. The place is chaotic, people don't keep it clean. The employees are not that helpful. Some of them are just sitting at the table talking to others. There is only one girl who is always cleaning and taking care of people. Some people are stock on one equipment for a longer time so you have to be able to work around your training schedule. Sent a complaint a while ago as the equipments are not updated, sometimes missing stickers on the weight and you are unable to see the weight of what are you about to lift. It is the closest one to my house but not visiting it so often anymore. Seems like they are just getting more and more people in. Opening hours during the weekend are ridiculous. This is the worst basic fit location I seen so far. Definitely have to clean your equipment before use. There are many people not even using a towel while they are training. And the staff does not do anything about it even though they say it is mandatory to use a towel.

Due to the crowd, the toilets are usually dirty. The machines are in good condition after their renovation.

Worst basic fit I train. The machines lack of maintenance and the weights dont reflex the real quantity. Always the same machines are broken, like the back pull. The people is very unkind and places the dumbells anywhere and basic fit stuff doesn't arrange them back, no matter the time of the day. Basic fit Diemen is totally different and well organized.

Morning time : relatively free (7 to 9 am) Evening : Crowded Variety of cardio and strength machines Max dumbell weight is 40kilo Staff is very nice and helpful. Kudos to them as they are working relentlessly in these strange times. Overall positive. 🙂

People don't rerack their weights. The whole gym is a disgusting mess with plates and bars all over the place. I went to almost every BasicFit in the city and this is by far the worst one.

Not clean, dust and dirty papers everywhere. Devices with paper to clean fitness equipment are empty, as are the spray bottles with liquid to clean those devices. Buttons to adjust the weight of fitness equipment have disappeared. It doesn't smell fresh in the gym. The hostess of the gym sat alone in a booth looking at her phone during my hour and a half visit.

It was the most clean and good equipped gym I had ever been in Amsterdam. 10 out of 10 😀

Equipment needs maintenance. Chest fly machine is not functioning properly for months.

Gym is ok, alot of space, cleaning of showers, smell in change rooms, toilets is a place where cleaning services could improve alot. Other than that i would recommend this gym.

The club has now had a refurbishment and is open 24/7. There is more of a variety of equipment, and spaces have been put to much better use. Also big improvements have been made to cleaning the facility so far as well.

Would be better if it wasn’t absolutely freezing here, and specially in the changing room for some reason.

Good Place, but the toilets are always closed wf if you want to pee you have to use the one for women’s . I didn’t get it . Best place for chest day , for Back isn’t that best option.

This branch is very busy specially between 17:00 till 23:00, the toilets is very smelly almost all time, a lot op machines is lack maintains. the good point is that branch is turned to by 24/7 which is very good and also they willing to make whole maintains and repair the whole branch in April 2023, hope the condition of that branch gets better.

Went there 2 times, not a nice gym to go to. The machines were outdated, didn't really like the setup.

Good equipment, just a little too busy most of the time. If you're scared of Corona, I would not recommend it because of the lack of 1.5 meter participation.

Nice gym with good original basic fit gym park but the toilets are often dirty/ugly. Staff should take care more about it.

Small, old devices Only one time I was there I didn't go back after that time

Most equipment is broken and old and overcrowded with people. It makes more sense to workout outside of Amsterdam instead of this trash gym.

Its already the second time that i go to the gym on the weekend and the door its open. The employees are always changing and never know nothing if we ask them something. I have a subscription 1+1 friend and at first one use the card and the other received by email now thats not possible anymore because we need to have the app install. They didnt inform us by email or left a note in the gym

The young and friendly team, with Tim and Rachied makes it a pleasant environment, good service and they gave me good tips on how to improve my training. Always a please to work out there, though some of the equipment should be renewed more regularly.

Several devices are broken and are not being repaired. Staff also do not bother to put stickers (with defects on them) on broken equipment. They are more concerned with making cold talk.
