Great squash facilities! There are lots of players, almost to the world-ranked pro level down to the casual player. Great social atmosphere too. Awesome bar and great food. The only thing is that it is super popular and reservations for courts fill up fast.

The gym is somewhat well equipped, I'll give it that. Staff is friendly, it's spacious and all. The one thing I can't forgive tho, is people don't put the weights back. They use the barbell and aren't disassembling the weights. For the dumbbells there's never an order, everyone just puts them whenever.

It’s a well equipped, nicely maintained and clean fitness center. I worked out here while I was staying at a dorm room in the Grote Bickersstraat. Trainers were friendly, attentive, and considerate. Also, as an international student back then, I liked the vibe of this gym that people just mind their own businesses. As far as I remember, in 2017-2018, the membership price (fitness only) was not that cheap, but it was reasonable (and.. I remember that I received a student discount, though am not sure if they still offer this).

Like playing squash, going to the gym and also enjoying a sauna? Welcome to squash city, you may only want 2 of them but maybe by the end, you have all three? It will suck you in like a squash sucks in the olive oil in your favourite oven roast. It’s love, it’s passion, it’s connection, it’s universal. Discover health, happiness and wellbeing like never before.

Squash City has been my first and only gym since I arrived in Holland as an expat three years ago. I only use the fitness center, and I can say that it is very well maintained and clean. The people are from all age groups, and everyone minds their own business, which is excellent. Trainers are friendly, and so is the rest of the staff. The change rooms are spacious and clean. Music volume is always low so that people can play and listen to their workout playlist using headphones. It's a bit on the pricier side, but it's worth the value. They didn't charge any fee during the lockdown period. As an expat, I recommend this place any day, especially if you live in the center.

Great place for squash. Clean, well organized and good facilities. The online facilities for booking courts and playing matches on the ladder are also surprisingly well built. Nothing fancy, but does what it needs to do well. Anyway, comes highly recommended!

Squash city is the best place on Earth. But Blaz is really the worst player there. Have a look ;)

Great gym. Great people. Very friendly staff, with a nice mix of Dutch and expat gym members. Has a very nice mixed sauna area with showers, steam bath, infrared sauna and normal sauna in the relaxation area, a very well equipped gym with good mix of classes, 13 (!!!) squash courts, and a very nice bar and restaurant with some really good food that you likely wouldn't expect at your local gym! It get's very busy on Wednesday nights, but always able to book a squash court during the day (Monday to Sunday), but best to reserve a court in advance for any weeknight evening (Monday to Thursday) between 18:00-21:00 to be assured of a court. If you want to play squash but lacking a partner to play with, you can join their squash ladder competition which (free to join) where you will play people more or less at your level, and also a great way to find some regular squash partners, alongside their monthly Friday night Social Squash night. Highly recommended sports facility, and thought of by most as the best in Amsterdam.

Great squash facilities and lovely staff. Get's busy on week nights but weekends and during the week day you can always pick up a court. If you don't have anyone to play with be sure to checkout the ladder.

It's got amazing sauna but rules are strict. I got banned from the club because I didn't wear shoes in the gym on stretching area, running machine over two visits, and the management permanently banned me. I got three warnings from two trainers. I apologize to trainers for having to inform me the rules. Mandatory Sign up fee of 40 eur is too high. No hard feelings. Wish them the best.

I recently came to this club with some comrades to play squash. When we walked onto our track we saw that a match was taking place on track 1 between Huub Mulder and an Englishman. The match was played at an insanely high pace and Mulder in particular managed to get the balls from all angles. When they left the court for a moment after the first set, I saw Mulder's divine body. I couldn't resist asking the man next to me if Mulder was number 1 in the world rankings. To my great surprise it turned out to be only an amateur, what surprised me even more was the fact that Mulder was already 53 years old. I have never enjoyed a sports match as much as that Sunday afternoon when I saw Huub Mulder in action on center court while enjoying a cold beer!

Best squash place in Amsterdam tried so far, but it's well known so ensure to book well in advance. Staff knows their equipment and are usually helpful and friendly. Courts are overall well maintained. Sauna which has been a big plus for me personally is currently closed, but they are renovating that so hopefully when the pandemic is over it will reopen in more than its full glory.

Nice place for playing squash, gym and even have some drinks and food. Friendly staff and good installations. Needed to book squash court in advance as it is usually busy. They organise tournaments and some interesting events. Really recommended place!

Excellent gym and wonderful new machines. The staff is super friendly. I’ve been going here for years and very happy with what you get for the membership price.

Good website with a lot of info, that's how I found them. Signing up fee is paid only once but you get a free bag, which is worth it, I guess... I'd rather not having to pay any fee. Their gym is nice and clean, with good equipments too, I still didn't get an equipment out of order, I think the maintenance is good. As any other gym, there are some sort of people that like to leave their weights laying around after use, and others that like to use 2 machines at the same time, taking them 10+ minutes to finish their "exercise". You can see some staff having to do the job of putting the weights on order sometimes. Their squash facilities are nice too, although a bit weared off, like losing paint etc, but it suits one for a fair play. During rush hour it get crowded, as any other place here.

😠 I can't even begin to describe how much I am disappointed with the TrainMore takeover of SportsWorld. When I've signed up for the gym, I was promised quality/ exclusive services and facilities. And I agreed to pay a somewhat high price for it (~80 EUR per month). In the transition period, however, I...

😐 Everything is nice about the gym - no problem. But the only thing I DO NOT UNDERSTAND is why does it close at 5 pm on weekends?? It's so early!! So inconvenient. And also it opens at 7 am on weekdays - also quite late! In the U.S. gyms open at 5 or 6 am during the week and on weekends work almost th...

😐 Bring your own mat or you have to pay 3 euro to rent one of their old ones. I hadn’t been here for a bit but it used to be full service (they even gave you a towel before.)
