Some rooms are limited to a special age of the guest, you get this information after you placed your reservation. These kinds of limits are against EU-Regulations and basic law. Never seen such things before!

Stayed here for about 6 months, they helped me a lot while I was stuck during the lockdowns (my credit card was expired at the time and it was difficult to get by). The owners and all the staff are very nice people. Hope to return someday for a weekend trip :)

Great location almost next to Rijsk museum and few minutes of walk to city centre. Stuff were nice and rooms were clean. Bathroom could have little better design but it was clean. There is no breakfast in the hotel. Best price for accommodation in Amsterdam, nice choice for students. I don’t recommend this hotel to older people because of steep stairs.

The staff were pretty nice and helpful. The rooms were cramped, the mattresses were also too hard to sleep on. There is a vending machine at the entrance with snacks and drinks with reasonable prices. It is a budget hotel but there is no excuse for the lack of an elevator. When you have THREE stairs and guests that bring bags with them you cannot just expect them to walk down those stairs. You can't even fit your feet on the stairs, it's terrible and you need to be extremely careful ( if you are not going to have an elevator at least have someone help the guests with the bags). One of my friends fell from those stairs and it could happen to anyone.

I will totally come back to this place when I’m back in Amsterdam. Location is perfect, staff is wonderful and private rooms are perfect for solo travelers or a couple.

Great location! 3 minutes walk from the main museums and the airport shuttle bus stopped very close to the hotel too. The price was not too bad. I think overall it is a pretty good place to stay. The only issue I had was that the rooms were a tad bit too dark, and the stairs were very steep! Very easy to trip and fall after a night out. But other than that it was fine. Would definitely stay again :)

You get what you pay. Don't expect much. Very good location, hot water and strong wifi connection. The room was too small for 3 people. The building is old, walls need to be painted again. No elevator. You can hear everyone and anything from your room, the rooms are not soundproof. Overall, it's a good option for the money you pay.

I visited September 2022. It is part of the remnants of old Rabat. The staff was superb. The quiet, the old city, and the effort that has gone into providing an oasis are impressive. If you are after 5 star service and everything done for you stay somewhere else. This hotel is perfect for a romantic retreat, and tourists that want to get a feel for the old city. Chatting on the roof top, about the life the universe and everything. Just a privilege.

The hotel is not very clean. The corridors have an very bad smell and there is carpet everywhere, a thing that I consider as very unhygienic. In the rooms there was only one light and no warm water at the washbasin. The mattresses in the beds were much used and very uncomfortable. You could feel the individual springs of the mattresses in your back. The bathrooms were also very small and it was super cold there. But at least they were reasonably clean. But this could have been overlooked, as also at the beginning, the personnel was friendly and the location of the hostel is very practical. But after the first night I discovered some insect bites on my arms, hands, legs and face. I hoped it was just a mosquito but on the second morning I could see the bedbugs crawling on the wall next to my bed. I could hardly sleep because I was itching everywhere and I was afraid of more bites. Even now, a week later, these bites still itch extremely. They were swollen and extremely painful. When we showed a picture of the bugs to the owner and asked him about them, he just laughed and said that this would happen. That it was normal in a hostel. He did not offer us any price reduction or at least a free breakfast. It was just a terrible stay and I would not recommend anyone to go to this place for these high prices. After returning home I had to wash all my stuff for fear of bringing home these insects and the whole week this itching. This is not my idea of a relaxed weekend in Amsterdam.

+ cheap + great staff + great location - all the rest ... I guess you get what you pay for Small room, seems dirty, hot as hell and I was here in September when it's chilly outside Towel Costs 1 euro to rent Alot of stairs.. third floor was not fun, no elevator Worst is the smell, smells like something died in the room, I couldn't breath there We booked 4 nights, after 2 nights I couldn't take it anymore and we booked another hotel for 2 nights Overall if you are on a budget it's bearable I guess, but you won't enjoy sleeping here

It's a great place to stay on a budget! Super close to the Heineken experience, lots of museums and art exhibitions and the tram line. The surrounding area was beautiful and felt really safe.

Awful place to stay, rooms are cramped, sheets are dirty, had 2 noise complaints for simply talking normally in our room after 9pm. Would never recommend to anyone.

One of the worst hotels I’ve been to. “BUDGET” does not mean a room without a working WC , and mouses in the room and in the whole hotel. I highly recommend to stay away from this hotel… also the reception was not helpful in any moment and lacked professionalism

Stayed in a 4 bed dorm. It was very comfortable but the walls were like paper so you could hear everything next door and above so that was hard as we had noisy neighbors one night. Bring earplugs. Can get extra pillows blankets if needed. Stairs very steep aswell. Nice lounge downstairs In great area near restaurants and metro. 2 stops from Centraal. Walked everywhere. Staff were lovely. 10euro deposit for key card. Towels and shampoo soap were one euro.

a very good location near to almost everything in Amsterdam. The rooms are not very big but enough especially for such an affordable price. The staff are very friendly and kind.,

You get what you pay for, but in a good way. No frills but straight to the point. Quiet, which is weird for a hostel, but on point for a budget hotel which is what it really is. Great location too, right next tonthenmetro and canal

Really liked coming here. Had to come late at night, and they received me well. The shared room was not busy, the windows were big, the mattress was not thin, clean sheets and bathroom. Lockers in the room and they let me storage the backpack for free the leaving day. A super cheap price for how well they treated me!

Beware they want to steal your money. We had to cancel due to Covid-19 but they still will keep the 25% of our money!!! Why? I don’t know. They made up their own laws. But my lawyers are already working on this. So you’ll have news from us very soon, robbers.

👍👍 I’m recommending to visit that tower to everybody who is visiting Amsterdam city. Super place if you want to see entire city from the sky. Tickets are around 15 euros. 😐 It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night. Also noisy because of the "cigarette smokers". There are no rules and regulations - or if t...
