    I had my last of 12 sessions today working with two different trainers. In short it was fantastic - both are such skilled, versatile, knowledgeable and empathetic coaches. It is the first time in my life I have enjoyed being in a gym. My physical progress in general and particularly supporting the last mile of my recovery from severely frozen shoulder has been great - much beyond my expectations. The concept of BT is simply great! It also had contributed significantly to my mental well being and recovery. Simply thank you!

    My partner and I are so grateful for the BodyTime team. Not only did we learn a complete new way of being in our bodies, strong and fit, and having fun becoming so, but we found a whole new kind and caring community. Great teachers, depth of learning, and feeling great... come join us!

    I’ve been an athlete my whole life and trained with many people in countless gyms. Body Time in Amsterdam has been my favorite experience thus far. I’ve learned more about my body than with any other trainer/gym and made progress in ways I didn’t expect. Their expertise, attention to detail, care for the whole person and commitment to fostering community makes it easy to visit the gym 5-6x per week! So happy to have found them!

    I have been often passing by Body Time and I eventually entered to check if I could get what I was looking for: small group circuit training focused on condition and body shape. That was 2 years ago. I'm still a happy member. I enjoy the trainings, the attention that I receive during classes, and the cozy atmosphere of a neighbourhood-gym.

    I have been a member of BodyTime since February 2021 and love it. I'm used to large gyms and classes, but BT is a local gym with really knowledgable trainers - and not the least bit intimidating for any/all levels of fitness. Starting out during lockdown I signed up for the 6 week PT membership with some strength specific goals in mind, and ending up renewing that for another 6 weeks. I trained 3X per week and had a programme designed for me that met all my expectations, pushed me to my limits, and taught me workouts I've never even thought of trying before. Now that my PT sessions are over, I've transferred over to the group sessions and because of the relationships I've built with the trainers during my PT sessions, they'll continue to push me in each class. Plus, group classes are only 6 people so you have personal attention and the team know what and when to tailor for you. 100% recommend to a friend ;)

    Great place to work on improving your health in a holistic way. Including focus on nutritious food, strength - both physically and mentally, next to focus on condition training, improving your mobility, etc. Nice and professional trainers and all have a very personal approach

    Excellent small group classes at a neighborhood gym that really treats you as one of their own. Great set of trainers and very personal. What makes classes more fun is that each trainer has their own individual style, and they constantly try to mix it up every once in a while. Highly recommend!

    Best gym I have every been to as I don't like the gyms where the testosterone is flying through the roof. The atmosphere at BT gym is really friendly and focussed on getting to know you and your personal goals. During the training sessions (I only did small group trainings) they spend a lot of time teaching you to execute the exercises well. I joined this gym as my body is injury prone and my mind wants to go faster then my body can. Heather and the other trainers guided me well during my time here and my body was getting stronger and more resistant to injuries. I recently moved to the other side of the city so I unfortunately had to leave. I really recommend this gym for anyone who likes a friendly training environment where they have time and attention for you to help you reach your training goals. Nathalie

    All of the coaches at BT are amazing, each with their own secret sauce of expertise. The classes are playful and challenging in a good way. I used to be so intimidated by gyms with weight training, but the supportive coaching and awesome community vibe here motivated me to join all the classes: Strength, Mobility, Movement and Condition. Thanks to this I not only feel stronger in my body, but I’ve learnt to appreciate and approach my body’s movements better, and in new ways. Heather’s nutrition coaching really helped me in identifying what foods my body (and mind) needs to feel nourished and energized. And also important to building a healthy lifestyle is community and the community at BT is really something. No joke, I even missed this place while I was away on holiday!

    I really recommend this gym. I had always been a person who did more aerobic training to strength training, and often felt a bit intimidated going to a gym. I really liked the sound of this gym based off the online reviews. It is small, but it really focuses on tailoring the best offering that suits you. I started with a personal training package, and Heather was amazing from the start. I have a health condition, so she was very careful to build the right program for me focusing on both mobility and strength. When Heather couldn't train me on some times, all the other trainers were also really good who stepped in. I've no hesitation to recommend this gym. They also do mini group classes as well, so there really is something for everyone.

    Have been training here for over a year now and still loving it. I was never one to go to the gym much, but BodyTime made it a very fun and welcoming experience (from going to the gym never I now go 3 times a week). The movement classes are my absolute favourite. Super proud of the things I am now able to do with my body. All thanks to the great trainers and fellow BodyTimers who make it a great place🙏

    This is going to be a long one, sorry... :) In 30 years, I could never get excited about working out. After growing up without any sports, I started going to the gym in my late twenties, but it always felt like a chore – so I wasn't too disappointed when even those few visits had to stop during the pandemic. Then I moved to Amsterdam, there was no more lockdown, and no more excuses for me not to look for a new gym (ugh). I was about to sell my soul to one of the bigger chains when I accidentally stumbled upon Body Time. Even though I dreaded group classes, I liked their strength-mobility-condition concept, so I signed up for a trial month – no binding annual membership, yay! 6 months later, group classes are my favourite part... :) The community is truly amazing, and every trainer is incredibly fun, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Their personalities shine through every class: I know that I'll need to be revived after condition with Mark or that I'll probably discover new moving parts of my body in Romeo's mobility classes. In a complete 180, I now not only work out at Body Time but picked up BJJ, too – a sport I would never have had the courage to try if the Body Time team didn't infect me with their enthusiasm and love for sports. So thank you Heather and the whole team; Body Time really is the best secret find of Amsterdam.

    BEST Gym in Amsterdam. Personal service, and high quality lessons and training. Heather and Jeroen, family run business take it to the next level. Expats wake up!! Heather is from USA and just gives that extra touch we all love and appreciate. Jeroen is Dutch and also gives his no nonsense quality training. I started training a couple months ago, thinking that it would not last.. I was so wrong . My body just got better and better. Highly recommend!

    What can I say? This place delivers! For years I've tried different gyms and/or studios and this is by far the best one I've attended as they know what they're doing, the small groups make it more like a personal training lesson and the environment is more than relaxed (which is definitely a plus!). The six weeks programs are well thought and structured in such a way that you will see consistency across the different classes, allowing you to steadily progress in performance. Also, changing the focus of the program every six weeks makes it more dynamic and allows you to work on your full body if you are consistent. Honestly, it's a no brainer. Best investment of time and money.

    I'm Body Time gym member since 3 months, getting personal training twice a week. The traings are perfectly tailored to focus on my areas of weakness and I already made a lot of progress. Gym has very friendly vibe - it is safe environment for people that tend to avoid gyms.

    I had such a good experience at body time. It’s not just a regular gym but a community and you feel welcome and taken care of from day one! Trainers are amazing people always there for you- listening, helping out and encouraging! If you are looking for a place to work out but also have fun and open your mind for healthy lifestyle and approach to sport and movement this is the place to go!

    Great place to work out. Passionate and friendly people, nice community feeling and skilled trainers that know what they are doing. I've been training here for many years on a day to day basis. Would advice to anyone who likes to book progress in a responsible and professional manner.

    Amazingly friendly & effective gym. Love the personal classes and the variation of exercises and intensity. The trainers run a 2 month program so you can focus on the lifts you want to improve and learn something new.

    Becoming a BodyTime member has been one of the best choices I've made in the past year. At first I was a bit sceptical towards gym classes (in general), but ever since I joined, I'm hooked! A variety of different classes for fair prices! I love the community at BT; everyone is genuinely nice! The trainers are very professional and knowledgeable, and will help you achieve your goals. I trust the trainers completely, and would sincerely recommend BodyTime for anyone, regardless of their goals.

    Great gym - highly recommend to anyone. All the trainers are excellent. The small 8 person (max) classes mean they can tailor the sessions to each individual in the room, from day 1 beginner through to advanced lifters. I can always get a space in the classes I want - and there is a whole range, including mobility, strength, and HIIT style sessions

    I love Body Time. So thankful for the beautiful community we have in this gym. They did such a wonderful job on creating a safe place where people can come as they are, and share that time with others while training. Trainers are always there with listening ears and are there to answer any of the questions we have. This is not just. a gym but a beautiful community and space they created for the people. So thank you Body Time and excited to share many more fun times together working out.

    Wonderful community with great culture. Within a few days I was already feeling part of the team. One of the great thing in BodyTime is that they are always coming up with creative exercises incorporating fun in the workouts (as it should be :) ).

    I found out about Body Time as I was looking for some support to get me back into exercising after the birth of my child. I signed up for personal training sessions and my coaches, Heather and Rinske, have created a program tailored to me to gradually help me work towards being active again and in the end feel comfortable to join group classes. And I did! All the coaches I trained with at Body Time help us train smart and in a fun way instead of focusing on going "hard and sweaty". They are always able to adapt depending on how we feel on the day and have great tips to provide depending on what we want to achieve. I would 100% recommend joining Body Time if you like to train smart and in a fun atmosphere :)

    Absolutely recommended! I have enjoyed training at Bodytime for about 5 years. It really is a very nice and accessible gym with all top trainers! During my time at Bodytime I was able to make really big steps in my strength and flexibility, thanks to their personal guidance and small-scale groups.     Finally found a gym that suits me! Small groups (max 8), always variety, challenging lessons (also mentally!), lots of personal attention, expert and very pleasant. Fortunately no macho culture! It feels like a community, which encourages me to go several times a week. In short, it's definitely worth taking a look.

    I joined the gym last October after taking 2 years off from really working out since having a baby. I started with personal training and nutrition with Heather, and absolutely loved it. It was such a nice way to get back into it. Now I’m doing the small group lessons and open gym - the vibe here is so much nicer than other gyms and there is always plenty of space to workout. Everyone I’ve met in class is super friendly and it feels like a community. Very grateful I discovered this gym and even got my husband to join because I was so happy with my experience 😊

    This is no regular gym. At body time you really get a full hour of complete mind shut down with playful activities and challenging movements. It also promotes a sense of community, something very rare in our society nowadays. I have only good words about the place and the people working there!

    I never write reviews and I never used to really enjoy going to the gym – BodyTime has changed both of those things! It's an absolutely amazing gym and joining is probably the best decision I've made since moving to Amsterdam. I was someone who played sports but never really did much fitness – now I actually wake up early and look forward to going to the gym! Every instructor makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to work with you. I really cannot recommend this place enough!

    I moved to Amsterdam four months ago and feel so grateful to have found BodyTime! Being new to the city I was hoping to find a gym where I could continue to work on my health and fitness while also making friends and BodyTime did just that and more. Like so many of the reviews comment on, BodyTime is so much more than a gym it really is a community - with monthly events including barbecues, squats and brews night and more. BT has created an environment that is inclusive, motivating and fun! The trainers are all so knowledgeable and supportive and the small group class model helps create a personalized and team experience. I cannot recommend BT enough - thanks for all you do!

    Amazing!! Feels like home when I think about it. I feel so comfortable with the trainers and the people attending. Everyone has their own pace which is great to have for new starters. I would recommend joining all the classes through out the week, they improve you in so many different ways. Mobility and strength are my favorite!! Truly friendly neighborhood gym! <3 <3

    I have only been a member for a couple of months but I can say that I felt an amazing atmosphere at BodyTime from day 1 on! The trainers have a very special approach towards sports and movement. Individual needs are always taken care of while encouraging team and community spirit. All this creates a very safe and comfortable environment for everyone. It is the first gym I have been to very body-mind awareness and intense training sessions come together! Can only recommend for anyone, not matter the goals or fitness level!

😠 Unfortunate to see my favourite gym constantly in disrepair. Often taking weeks to months before simple issues are fixed. Cleanliness is also not as it used to be - WCs become disgusting later in the day. Calling customer support wasn’t helpful so I thought I’d post my complaints here.

👍 Good gym. Day pass was 10 Euro which seems to be good value. 4 squat racks although there were people doing barbell rows and stiff legged deadlifts in them. Had a proper hip thrust bench. We used the sauna which was great to sweat out the beers from the night before. Would have loved some calf machi...
