Arrived 1 minute late and was not able to enter the facility. I understand that if more slots are available after our booking that it would make sense to not let us in, as the gym would become too crowded. However, there were no spots available until 22:00 (I booked a slot for 18:15). For several minutes, I was trying to make the host understand that if we only arrived a few minutes late no other person could have booked our slot since the booking time had passed already nor would unexpected people arrive as it was fully booked until 22:00! What is the logic behind this? You guessed it ! There is no logic. Anyways, terrible customer service.

Scammed. My friend and I were taken on a short tour of the gym, we bought a day pass right after, and we were kicked out almost less than a minute after by the same person who gave us the tour for having hiking boots on despite the fact that’s what we were wearing while we were on the tour and nothing was said until after we bought the pass.The person tried to shift blame onto us then said that they didn’t handle refunds and referred us to customer service online on their website where you need to have an account to send a message to an actual person.

Love this gym to workout! Such a great location in the middle of the city with all the equipment you need. Prices are €10 for a day pass and €25 for a 3-day package.

The people at this gym are unprofessional and rude. Specifically someone named Danny. I was not aware of the rules in a gym, being that this is the first time in my life going to a gym. This guy in the office was rude, shamed me for not knowing the rule and threatened to cancel my membership for asking questions about the rule. I have reason to think this person's behavior was racial motivated. He behaved as if I am supposed to do what he says without any question as and when he says as if I am his slave. Equipment is good. Gym is good. The people at the gym are bad.

It is not so cheap as it seems, because they don't respect the end of the contract and keep taking money from you. They are unwilling to solve the problem when you contact them. This happened to me and to others as well. I repeat: DO NOT GO HERE!!

After deciding to take a one month flexible membership they have emailed me from different mail addresses to still get money of a subscription I never had. When I addressed it they wanted me to go to a police station for identity theft. I only came there during my holiday 4 weeks long in July. It’s been ridiculous that there is no customer service. I even got proof of me taking and ending the subscription but they email me daily! Be careful once you go in this automated place as they try to rip you off

Used base-fit first time in Marseille and really like it. Gave it a try in Amsterdam and liked it. It can get crowded in the free weight section but you can compensate your work out with machines. The gym is eady to find and clean. You can get a day pass at the entrance using the machine, only card payment accepted. The men's lockers are basic but not need more, showers are good. Need your own padlock. Women friendly gym.

Always so full that you can't exercise or have to wait in line for a bench yourself. All the weights hang together and no one hangs their weights back. People who work there literally don't do anything, just sit on that chair. Worst gym I've ever been to.

Peephole in dressing room - I have made numerous complaints about it but basic-fit doesn’t appear to care. The peephole is a hole in the window film allowing sight from the street next to the gym. I have tried sticking something on it to block the view but it’s always removed after. As a matter of fact, basic-fit does not take any complaints seriously. The showers are preset hot in such a way that it burns one’s skin. Nothing is done about it.

Mwaaa they still need to improve some machines, however, the prices are good and the space between machines are perfectly to dot tease another people while exercising.

Manager does not even know their gym attire. Waited till we paid, gave a tour of the place to then say that we did not have the proper shoes and kicked us out without a refund. Horrible horrible experience and customer service.

Very big gym with all the right equipments! Membership at very affordable prices. I enjoy a lot working out there. But at times it gets very busy, because it's the best in this corner!

It is a solid gym. Nothing that will leave you bragging but also a great place to get any workout in. The vibe is good and the staff are all really good. Satisfied.. It will be my returning gym for now

Damn, what a dirty, disgusting place. Ventilation doesn't work, the entire toilet is full of piss that everyone walks through and takes into the club. Everything is sticky, few people train with a towel, it is said that it is unmanned so they cannot enforce it. Really scandalous.

The ventilation system has not been working for several weeks now. The result is heat, stench and 'germs'. It is not recommended to go to this branch now if you want to stay healthy and fit.

Honestly I’ve been to dozens of basic fit in France and this one is the best I’ve seen yet. It’s large enough and has plenty of space. Only bad points are there is only one bench press and same for legs machine there should be more.

Happy with this gym in general and the staff are very friendly and I very much understand you get what you pay for, but is there any chance at all of turning off the heating in the cardio room in the winter? It's too warm in there to do cardio!

SCAM. I bought a membership and now I am told I need to use an app I can not download. They won't refund me and are trying to make me pay €30 for a card to scan in. They also don't have water fountains.

All the machines were in good condition! The only complaint is that the bathroom isn’t that hygienic…

Way too busy for how small the location is, also, it's missing seated isolation barbell curl equipment.

I purchased a subscription for 1 year, I pay for it every month and after the deadline, I again began to receive invoices for payment, for all my attempts to stop it and to understand how this could be, I didn't get an answer, I stopped pay and then without calls and emails Basic-fit for unknown reason, transferred the case to the collectors, they were obliged to pay me cost for 2 months plus their Commission in the amount of 40 euros, after it became clear that it was a mistake and Basic-fit is just not counted the months, that was to close for the Corona virus, the part of funds returned to me, but part paid for by me to collectors were not compensated! Such cases like mine is not one! please never purchase a subscription from this gym, it is impossible to close it later.

Great gym for the price you pay! Has a lot of machines and space. It will be busy at times so plan your visit.

Solid gym. I used to be at trainmore but considering this one is closer to my house it makes a lot of sense going here - since it does have everything you need. Could probably do with a smaller cardio section since barely anyone uses that anyway. Staff is very friendly and helpful

Zero customer service I have ever experienced. There is no way of contacting them to discuss my issue. They won’t download and I have no way of going to the gym now, unless I pay them another €40. Avoid at all cost.

The company is a complete scam if you are international. They stole €60 from me and won't let me access the gym and they know the app doesn't work for me. They also have no customer service number or email to complain.
