Really rude obnoxious owner.. Just search Google and you'll see most coffee shops are 4.3 star and up..these guys are below 4 star that's saying something. we went in ordered 2 cokes and when he asked about weed we said we were gonna buy in 10 mins as we're thirsty and needed a j first ...he then after we pay for drinks says oh but you can't smoke your own stuff.. For context it's 2pm and it's empty..only 2 other people there...and also for context we needed weed..he heard me say to my friend the weeds great here!! But who wants to support such unfriendly businesses who are so rigid.. Enough better options around to avoid. Who are much much more friendly.

Not a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at all. You aren’t allowed to buy a drink in there unless you buy their weed. Even if your friends buy their weed you have to sit there without a drink and you can’t smoke your own stuff. With so many coffeeshops in Amsterdam I don’t know why anyone would come to this place.

Decent prices and really good quality stuff. Prerolls are good this place and the dolphin are the only really good pre-rolls we’ve had. There’s even a cat named Tony that pops in. Really lovely place, I’ve seen some negative comments about being asked to buy more to stay there, we’ve not had this experience but it’s common with all coffeeshops here for the customers spending more to be given a table this place is not rude whatsoever.

Such good vibes here. I came two years ago and found it by chance, went several times during my week stay. Then this year I had a 24 hour layover, went there and had a great chat with the owner, super nice. They even have a daily cat visitor name Antonio, he's adorable. Would definitely recommend this place to have a chill place to relax and grab a drink. 10/10

AVOID THIS COFFEESHOP! Was refused when trying to order a drink unless I buy something from the weed menu, even though my friends had just been before me and bought weed and a drink. I was told “It’s a coffee shop”. Yes, it is the worst coffee shop in Amsterdam and the reviews back that up. I have been in lots of coffee shops and never once been refused service unless I buy something. But it’s okay, you lost out on money, customers but gained a 1 star review. I will make sure to get my friends to also leave a 1 star review.

Friendly boss, lovely neighbors cat (look like batman) Nice chocolate with cream, and pear juice. My friend tried smoke bubble gum and flew to space for a moment. Hahha

It's nice, the guy working there is pleasant and relaxed, atmosphere OK, not great snacks or drinks, basic. I liked it, but wouldn't go out of my way to go there again.

I would not recommend this coffee shop. I visited here with my aunt. The staff were unfriendly and rude. It’s a tourist trap and doesn’t reflect true Amsterdam. You won’t want to stay long because of the uncomfortable seating and stale atmosphere. The product was not of great quality. On the website there’s a reggae sign but there’s no reggae vibe.

Lovely coffee shop! Right in the heart of the best LGBTQ+ area. Great shop for all but fellow queers must stop here!

This has been my favourite coffee shop so far. Everyone is super friendly, great vibe and made to feel really welcome. Hot chocolate was sooooo tasty and the weed was great. Definitely going to come back before my holiday is up. Thank you 😊

Visited this little gem of a coffeeshop on our last day in Amsterdam and we loved it. Very friendly, charming owner. Great music and great vibes! No Wi-Fi though, but you won’t care because you’ll be too busy enjoying the vibes. We’re definitely going back! And the neighbours cat, Antonio, kept us entertained. He even posed for a photo!

Awesome and friendly staff :) wonderful atmosphere and their prerolled joints are delicious! Music is great and there are big windows to look at the street, definitely worth a visit.

Great experience the waiter was a bit shy but it adds to the charm if i could i would’ve added a star for the cute cat that guards the café. Music wise it was great i even got to listen to some aphex twin by requesting for it it made my joint even more enjoyable. Either way it doest look like much but dont be fooled it has a very calming ambiance and da weed is gr8 !

This was the first coffee shop that I went to my first time in Amsterdam, it’s so relaxed and cosy and staff are really nice - perfect spot for any solo travellers. I’ve been to Amsterdam 3 more times since and The Otherside is ALWAYS the first place I go!

Cozy coffeeshop offering coffee, tea, drinks, and good bud. The bartender/owner is very friendly and welcoming. Good mix of people, and everyone is nice and chill. There is even a resident cat that will stroll in and out looking for pats and treats. Came every day while on my 4 day trip to Amsterdam.

Nice ambiance, small spot, nice selection. Will say - be mindful when purchasing pre-rolls as some are mixed with tobacco. As pure cannabis smokers, this threw us off a bit (not fans). Best to roll your own J’s if you’re like us :-)

Gotta say it's my favourite shop in Amsterdam. The hosts are nice and give great recommendations. The joints are sweet and smelly amd on a good price.

The Otherside is personally my favourite coffee shop in Amsterdam. In contrast to many other coffee shops that often have a dark atmosphere, The Otherside is very cozy, open, and friendly. It has more of a living room atmosphere with very good quality weed, friendly staff, and good music! It’s a positive place with good vibes to chill. Besides this there is also a cool cat dropping by sometimes, “Antonio”.

Loved this coffee shop. Atmosphere, tunes, lighting and fab choice of smokes, tea and lush space cake. Dude who works there is lovely too. Will definitely be back.
