In the Centrum neighborhood and one of the oldest coffeehouses in Amsterdam! Great vibe inside with funky-weird decor and sweet treats, snacks, tea and drinks. No alcohol of course. (Yes, it was a setting from the movie Oceans 12 w Brad Pitt too!). Cool, music and helpful staff. Definitely one the best #coffeehouses in Amsterdam!

To my mind, it's the best coffee shop in Amsterdam! Very cozy and relaxing vibe with the ambiance of Buddhism. A pure joint costs 7€, also, you can buy a space cake for 7€ here (spoiler: it is veeeery delicious and effective!). The place is very nice because you can order tasty tea for 2,4-3€ and enjoy it while smoking your joint

On Thursday 17 November we visited the site. On several occasions we tried to order something to drink. The worker told us in a minute. New customers came in and she served them immediately. After waiting 20 minutes at the bar we noticed that the lady was only serving white people. It was the first place we had visited on our trip. It was horrible to start the trip with racist people. Do not visit!

I expected more quality... I am a bit disappointed in the muffins and other products in the coffee shop. In my opinion there are other coffee shops that are quite nice and with good stuff. For muffins and brownies I highly recommend Kadinsky Coffeeshop (Zoutsteeg 14, 1012 LX Amsterdam, Netherlands). You will be amazed by the effect they give you :)). And for other products Abraxas (Jonge Roelensteeg 12-14, 1012 PL Amsterdam, Netherlands). Good luck and hope Dampkring will revive with better products in the future. I gave you guys 3 stars because of your history and the courtesy of the staff but sincerely the products were very low quality.

Small place with a bar on one side. Was crowded n loud when i went. So that ruins the laid back ambiance. Feels like a bar not a coffeehouse. Small weed counter in back with over 40 varieties. The guy serving was helpful. It was 23 euros for 2 grams. What i dont understand after lining up for the weed is why i gotta buy the muffin edibles from the bar n line up all over again... the muffin i was told had half a gram in it. Cost 7.5 euros. Muffin was tasty. Only one girl working so service was slow. She was nice. This place was funky but would never be my hangout spot.

Love this place. But staff should be careful; the other day this Genius bar tender/waitress, a rude one, far to be thin, with many tattoos and a strong tongue, was chatting so loudly, and was making fun of customers who do not speak english or just for their accent.. when she had finished and took time for our order, this genius didn t understand the « ananas » juce i asked for, because you don t say ananas in english for pineappel, only in french and also in…. dutch. Yep, sad that the staff doesn t follow the vibe..

After being recommended this place I am left feeling disappointed. It’s a shame one of the severs attitude towards customers was so unwelcoming and blunt when I was extremely polite - I don’t understand why have such a bad attitude with a customer seeking to have a good experience. Shame because the music and interior was fun but maybe customer service skills is something to be taught to your staff .

Definitely the best coffeeshop in The Netherlands 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟 One of the best places to go in Amsterdam. A " must visit " hidden-in plain-sight gem, the place looks small at the beginning but once you enter the atmosphere will transport you into a different dimension 😉 . The menu for drinks or herbs is so freaking great. Overall is a top star 🌟 place to visit and sit quietly and enjoy the day or night.

Updated 2023 Always the best and chillest place in Amsterdam. Service is top. No pressure, smiling. The lady at the counter was a young Italian girl who was so professional, kind and efficient. She made the best smoothie I ever had in Amsterdam. Generous with loads of fruits, tasty and a reasonable price, for the quality it had. I hope it was not a one time off experience, I would love to go again, To try one more flavour and have the same experience

Such a cool coffeeshop with friendly and patient staff. The places to sit were full when we arrived (Whit weekend), but we were lucky and got a place (at the bar) after we purchased the good stuff (AG13, C5, Wedding Cake and Piff Haze were on our menu). We connected with other people and we all had a great time there. Can’t wait to visit you guys again!

Awesome vibe, cool staff with knowledge and experience to make recommendations (though I think he underestimated us haha), excellent product and chill place to sit to use it. Good vibes and excellent music. Only tried the jaras (hashish) for now, but definitely will be heading back for some bud.

This is a brilliant coffee shop, the staff is really friendly and extremely relaxed, the prices are very good. I got hot tea and my friend got a fresh juice, both were perfect and cheaper than usual. The music was beautiful and matched the vibe perfectly, the bar is also very good and laid out beautifully. Overall I would 1000% recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

Dreadful. Aggressive and very rude and confrontational staff, they literally just made me pay for food then kicked me out without even letting me take my food - because I asked about my sunglasses. Awful establishment, awful management and employees - stay away from here if you want a chilled out smoke and a coffee. They are now being dealt with for stealing from me. They are extremely rude and disrespectful. There are many better shops / cafes nearby - go to any of them but not this place because I promise you all you will get from the staff is TERRIBLE attitude - and theft. Silly people

Such s good place with cool vibe full of stoners. There should be more seating available but it is a good place with very good stuff and a little further from the central station makes it less crowded from that crowd. The place is indoor so you smoke indoor and create hotbox 😍😍 we smoked whole standing which was not constable as I wanted to relax while smoking. But yes the high was awesome. We had the pre rolled pure kush for 7.50€. definitely would visit again and would want a place to sit.

Always fun to stop in this place for a nice coffee and smoke. Great interior. Relaxing. Easy to find and usually busy. Lots of tourists during the warm summer months. Winter days are a good time for me.

Absolutely excellent visit again this year for Kings Day in Amsterdam. Best real hot chocolate around & their own Nutella muffin too. Lovely friendly girl working at the front counter. 👍🏼

High grade service and product. Really friendly and chilled atmosphere. Some of the best weed I’ve smoked this weekend. Zoap and Old School are highly recommended. I can see why these guys are so popular (endorsed by The Trailer Park Boys, haha). Will definitely return next time I’m in town.

Been here a few times over the past weeks. Decent quality bud, great coffee, good chats and laughs with fellow clientele, and bartenders. Lily and Eva are absolutely crushing it with them milkshakes! Definitely one to visit on a regular basis, for casual smokes.

It was really cute and the whole shop looked so vibie! The music was great as well! I also ordered a Smoothie and I saw how it was made freshly, however I personally didn’t like the taste of it, waaaay too much orange juice (although it also says that it’s based on that on the menu) my mates still enjoyed it though! And it was quite cheap for a smoothie :)

A V O I D !!! Very rude waitress with a horrible attitude and also low quality products. Nobody treated me that rude in my whole life and I was their customer. Can you imagine? The waitress approached to our table and asked what we are going to buy. The thing was we had just bought their stuff (which was low quality and expensive) and were trying to roll. I said not now, thank you and she flipped! She pushed the water bottle I have on the table and stared to yell : NOBODY CAN COME TO MY SHOP AND PUT THOSE (water bottle) ON MY TABLE AND ORDER NOTHING TO DRINK ! Then she shoved the coffee menu to our face : NOW, BUY! I was shocked. My brain couldn’t process what just happened and couldn’t even say something. We were 35 & 36 years old, not a child! We had to left the shop without couldn’t even smoke what we paid for. That was the most horrible experience as a customer I’ve ever had! There are lot better options than this horrible place. Don’t waste your time and money.

1st coffee shop I went to while traveling Amsterdam and boy am I glad I did. Such a cool atmosphere and everyone's friendly (no, not just because they're stoned...). They sell anything from pure flower to pre-rolls. Sat @ the bar w/ a friend and had a blast. needless to say, the rest of the night was a trip haha

One of Amsterdam's must-do experiences is visiting a coffee shop. Definitely worth visiting and taking in the location's history. Since it may be a favorite among tourists, it is not something you can experience every day. It is worth seeing, and perhaps the level of service will remain the same.

Great coffee shop. The first time I went here they were the only coffee shop to sell cannabis and alcohol. Nice atmosphere. This coffee shop was in the Oceans 12 movie. I'll be going back here on my next trip to Amsterdam!

Really cool place to chill and smoke one. Old-school vibes and a REALLY good cholocate milkshake. Only bummer is that it's quite expensive. And don't even get me started on isolate prices, highway robbery.

One of the best coffeeshop or the best one, lovely staff, cosy ambiance, good music, lots of choice on the board and at the bar ( homemade tea ), in the center with good price and stuff, you discovering lots of good peoples here. We were here for 4 days, it's wasn't enough ! Try the Khasili, the Ta Lemon ( fruity ) and the ketama is good for the price. Thanks !

For me it's the best in Amsterdam. The staff at the weed counter are friendly and knowledgeable. The product is good. Also a range of juices and shakes served at the bar. It has an old world feel, like stepping back in time, love the wood and the low lights. Small but could always get a seat. It's not a local place like some a little further out but also isn't a tourist trap like those not far away.
