I Love Starbucks coffee and have visited their shops all over the world. This is the worst one by a country mile! The staff are either incompetent or undermanned - the management can decide, it’s not my job! What I will say is that it is one of the most unhygienic restaurants I have ever been in. There is one toilet cubicle for the dozens of guests in the restaurant at any time. The cubicle had overflowing bins, and there was toilet paper and urine everywhere. I asked the staff to clean the toilet- and to their credit, this was done straight away. But Unfortunately, the lack of hygiene did not end there - at the customer stations, the bins were full and over flowing and used cups and rubbish littered the surfaces. It also took about 15 minutes to receive my wife’s drink order (one coffee). Overall a very poor experience?

It’s the second time that the staff didn’t call our names when the drinks are done (we were right in front of the serving counter the entire time), and when we noticed the iced drinks are already melted. We only waited patiently because we saw the staff are busy not because we have spare time to spend.

I witnessed it on 4 January 2024 around 9:30 pm. Starbucks staff yelled loudly at a guy seated without an order yet. The staff said that was the instruction of his manager. And then the customer was annoyed as he was humiliated by the staff. When the customer raised his voice, the staff called his manager, and the manager yelled at the customer, too and rudely removed the staff from the cafe. This is not a very Starbucks experience. I am so shocked! I am only visiting from London, and how come Starbucks Amsterdam staff and manager have been this rude to a customer? They literally bullied the helpless customer. What is literally happening in this branch??!!!

I am a tourist and had some work to do in Starbucks. I spent about 2 hours studying while my mom and my sister was visiting around. They came in to say hi to me for 5 minutes and a staff came to us telling us that we have to order more or have to go out because i have ordered only one drink 2 hours ago. Knowing that there is a starbucks policy that people can come in and chill without ordering(although I DID ORDER), it was very disturbing. Also, when the guy came to us, even though the place was really busy there were plenty of seats around.

At 16:54 they close the toilettes and they do not provide this basic service to customers. Instead, they send you to some toilettes outside. Not a good experience. On the contrary, a shameful service for such a company as Starbucks.

Poorly managed, dirty, with an attitude. Waited about 30 minutes for the table to be cleaned after previous clients left. Went downstairs twice and asked them to send someone. My tea became cold.

Ugh. I had pumpkin frappuccino. Not worth 5 euros. It tasted like chai masala mixed with milk in a mixer.

Starbucks in Amsterdam… The staff was being little rude when my daughter wanted to check out the place before ordering.. I was waiting to order but staff told that my kids can look around the shop after ordering.. I understand since they probably had lot of people who wanted to use restroom for free but it was bit uncomfortable ..

This branch is next to primark The location is good Unfortunately worst staff i have ever seen in a Starbucks branch!!! I was the second in line and it took me 6 minutes to order and 5 minutes to get my drink which was not done right Its called caramel frapptiono but ms anna forgot to put caramel And while she was doing the drink she pauses and goes to wash a something in the sink !?!? Then another girl comes and finishes the drink I dont know whether to laugh or get angry I think its the first day on the job for all of them For the order infront of me they forgot to give the change back So she had to call the supervisor to open the register box Better to go to another branch for coffee I will be waiting for your comments

This is a fairly standard branch of Starbucks, the coffee is good and the staff friendly. Unlike most Starbucks, the service doesn't seem to be as efficient despite having more than the usual complement of staff. The line is slowing moving to get make your order, then almost as long to get the coffee. In their defence, the branch is in a busy area.

Incredibly cheap for a Starbyuck (3.10 bucks for a very large coffee w/ straw 1 milk) + incredible smoothies @ 2 bucks 15, restrooms available for customers w/o having to pay more. Spend some great time after long 12 hours of travel to get ther (I mean in A,Dam, love Septentrional Holland + Capital, don t know why...) so much things to see/do/hear etc....

The drinks, foods and merchandise were all fantastic, as was the service, but I went upstairs to the toilet and standing outside co-sexual toilets the smell of urine and contamination was so strong I felt unwell and unable to use the bathroom there, so I left and went to another establishment. I love Starbucks, it would be great for the hygiene factor to be like the States rather than what I’ve come to see in Europe...

I know Starbucks is American and what can I say, I'm a proud American and they represent 💯 and the service is quick, the staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is kept pretty clean for the volume they do. Go good job Amsterdam staff of Starbucks!

The brunette lady with glasses who served me at 8:41pm name starting with C and ending in S today was very rude. Gave me wrong orders and refused to give me extra cup of water even though I ordered tea. I asked for emperor cloud mist tea and she gave me lemon green tea and also did not offer recipets

01.01.2024 - Starbucks welcomes the customers with this sign on their two floors. Welcome to Starbucks Amsterdam. Wondering why? Simple capitalistic approach - people are coming, then they are ordering and then they are realising that there this no toilets ... going out to free the space for next victim of the green-white lady. Happy New Year!

Nice big Starbucks with outdoor seating.

Nice place was cozy and everyone was friendly. Tasted good. Toilets kind of dirty and tables full of trash that people left.

I have never been a Starbucks fan but could not resist visiting this branch. It's located in this beautiful monument building at Damrak near Dam (Square). Cool interior, very friendly staff

Normal Starbucks experience except the bathroom is very bad, especially for an example of this brand. Shared this picture with the baristas who stated "cleaned by contracted company". WiFi also not working. Not a good Starbucks experience.

Located at a very prominent market place. Long waiting for ordering due to the heavy rush. Would not recommend, if one is looking for a faster service, assess the waiting time before joining the queue.

a little crowded. Workers are very polite with customers. Second floor closes early than the first. I don’t why the closet while it’s crowded.

Great location and great service. Why keep the upstairs close when u guys are so busy. Customer can use the toilet as well if u keep it with code so it won’t be super dirty.

Great service, however Toilets was in a bad state. Probably because of a lot of customers. Maybe make it paid so the toilet can be of better standard and hygienic/clean.

It's Starbucks, so of course there was a long line, but it moved very quickly. The staff were friendly and efficient and they spoke English fluently. Wonderful dessert options and fast service.

Just like other starbucks around the corner. Get in line to use the washroom.

The people there made me a wrong drink because they chatted with each other and didn't read what I ordered carefully. However when I asked for a new one, they showed impatient and without any apology. BTW, they even spelled me a wrong name. Please please please, If you don't know how to spell it, just ask. The most terrible Starbucks I'd ever been to.

Services was okay. Found it strange they had display muffin but when we requested they said wasn't available to later find out it was. But not too bad, wish they had more diversify of burgers

Visited this Starbucks a few times over the past 4 days and always had a great coffee and great speedy friendly service. Nice long opening hours as to be expected from Starbucks. Also have a range of savoury and sweet foods, alongside the usual drinks range. Some yummie cheesy toasted sandwiches too

We are from Greece. We try to find coffee as we make it.. and there is no real good coffee in Netherlands to begin with. Overall the place is nice.

A very unique branch of Starbucks that gives you a beautiful experience.

Very busy location with long lines. Not the cleanest of places and certainly not the cleanest of bathrooms. Good location to just grab a drink on the go, but not really a good location if you want to sit and drink your coffee peacefully.

First of all, not polite staff. I have been waiting for my order 30min! Not gonna mention how dirty the place was, nobody was taking care of it. The toilet looked like haven‘t been cleaned since a while, instant refused to use it. So far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to.

On the main Street of Amsterdam we found the worst branch of Starbucks we have ever seen! The line was endless because they were understaffed, the one toilet was dirty, disgusting, stinky and wet, it took 20 minutes to receive the two coffees we ordered because the two baristas were busy talking, choose wisely and go somewhere else

This branch was close to my hotel so I had coffee for several time. The pastries are cold and they only heat the sandwiches 😔 Other than that, the place was clean and fast service.

One of the staff was extremely rude. I was trying to ask for something to another person and she started almost shouting without trying to understand what I was asking. Don't think I'll go there again.

I don't know how difficult it is to make a coffee, but apparently, it is. I dropped in for a quick coffee, but the staff did not manage to make a cappuccino with oatmilk until the third try. Besides that the coffee was rather cold. Really disappointing
