More of a French diner and on a busy corner 😉 There is outdoor seating facing the canal and neighborhood has a lot to offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is on three tight levels and always busy but the wait is brief. The menu is varied, offering breakfast, sandwiches and sweets. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Can’t speak to any of the food as our party stopped in to enjoy a coffee while we waited for a scheduled event. The hosts got us in immediately and the ordering from your phone with a QR code meant you could have minimal interruptions before, during, and after your food. The coffees were good and so was the muffin. Bit steep on price for water at 3,50€ for a small bottle so I definitely recommend going to a Spar or Lidl and carrying your own water with you. That goes for anywhere in this city. Overall, we enjoyed it and it gave us a good break from the wind while we waited. Really enjoyed it.

The place is very quite and peaceful, I like seating on the bar looking out the window with my coffee. I always order 2 sandwiches and share halfs with my partner, the truffle chicken sandwich it’s my favorite, it’s very tasty! This time I tried the mini pancakes and they are delicious. A recommended place if you want to get away from the touristic places

Very good oat flat white, tasty mango, banana and strawberry smoothie. My friend had the Crouque Monsieur which looked tasty. Great place to unwind in the dappled sunlight after a night out, watching the canal cruises go by. Lovely friendly staff and toilet facilities. You can order via QR code, pay via QR or inside the building.

Lovely place to enjoy a brunch or a coffee by the canals, especially on sunny days! They have QR codes on each of their tables so you can quickly order and relax until the staff brings your order. The area is also very nice to walk around, explore and enjoy the typical Dutch architecture in a less touristic spot!

Great location right by the water. Orders can be made on their website and the service & staff were excellent. Taste of the coffee and cheesecake was mediocre, nothing special but it’s not bad either.

An excellent cafe with delicious food, fantastic coffee and amazing service. In three I stopped in 4 times because the people working here are soooooo nice and warm and welcoming. I had the tomato soup and the lentil soup which were both phenomenal! The tuna sandwich with boiled was huge and very tasty- the wasabi-mayo really seals the deal! Now the ginger cinnamon orange tea is what blew my mind- it was incredible! They fuse all the ingredients together in a strainer and its up to me on how strong I want it. This is the best way to make herbal tea- I have never seen it done this way and now I want everyone to do it this way. Perfection! The location is also very beautiful. A quaint quiet lovely area close to the hustle and bustle but quiet enough to enjoy a moment 💜 Thank you amazing team at Baton- yall rock 💜🥰

Quaint place with a few outdoor seats to take in the view of the picturesque canals. It’s walking distance from a busy shopping areas, but enough off the beaten path to not feel overwhelmed. The staff is very friendly and took great care of me. The Lox sandwich and mint tea I had was spectacular.

Lovely food and despite the fact walking by it looked like a tiny coffee area, there is loads of seating at the back. Spent a relaxed lunch chatting and enjoying good food and coffee. Just what we needed to step out in the rain and relax.

Cute little place ! I had coffee and a sandwich for takeaway. Pictured is their veggies sandwich but the smoked salmon is also super delicious! Very friendly service. Would stop here again:)

Great place to have breakfast or lunch. Good quality food and nicely decorated. Portion sizes are great and the view is one of the best in Amsterdam. Price is slightly high, but then again it is in the heart of Amsterdam. Definitely recommend to grab some food or good coffee here.

Nice espresso in a good spot in Amsterdam. You can find place most of the time. Price is moderate and nice chill cafe near to the canal

There are many food places in Amsterdam. So it is great when you find a pleasant local. An overall good experience. Great service. Good food. Tranquil atmosphere and affordable. Recommend for a quick bite and coffee. Sit outside if weather permits.

We had lunch with the family today. Service was really good and food as well! Unfortunately they didn't have ace for 7 inside so we stayed outside but we were very pleased overall

Nice place with friendly staff! I love going there for brunch on weekends. The coffee is really good and the sandwiches are yummy!! And if you’re lucky with the weather, you can sit outside on the terrace along the canal.

Perfect place for enjoying morning coffee with Apple pie. Good coffee and delicious food. Very peaceful at the Sunday morning.

Its really nice. The tables were all clean and outside they have QR-Codes where you can order (sadly not pay) from. The order came very quick. It's next to a canal, mostly calm and there are not so many cars around. I enjoyed it very much. Recommended!
