The cannabis is terrible and overpriced. The staff is super rude and intimidating. We spent 60 euros there and the security thug started intimidating us physically and with words because we didn't want to get a a drink. This is called extortion and I have reported with the police and I am talking with my lawyer because everything is recorded.

It was a nice place to smoke . Coffee is 3.2 € milkshakes are 5 -6 euros

Very rude, no idea of hospitality best practices. There are far better options in the area. The locals consider the bulldog a tourist shop « bad price quality ».

We went there several times for the coffee shop and drinks and unfortunately this friday night we were not treated well as the first time. The barman was rude to us and we won't be coming back. I ordered a beer (big size) and the barman said that if my girlfriend doesn't drink too we can't stay, so we left. We were not even occupying any table, we were standing close to the bar. We have never seen this in any other bar, really disappointing experience.

What more can you say? This place is so well located, beautiful terrace, very cool atmosphere. The bulldog is a great first stop for anyone travelling to Amsterdam!

Really cool location. Great lesson in the history of Henk and The Bulldog. Weed is good (I recommend the gelato) and prices are decent. Staff are nice but there's a pretty intimidating security guard who comes round and makes you feel like you've over stayed your welcome (we bought 2grams, multiple rounds of drinks and food so it wasn't like we weren't providing them custom). It's also got a nice restaurant upstairs where you can also eat and smoke.

I like this concept of a coffee shop in an ex police station. 5 stars atmosphere.

Nice Coffeeshop conveniently located in the middle of Leidseplein. The shop is themed as a police station (which it used to be back before the owner of the Bulldog bought it) The selection of products is large and varied (16 different strains of marijuana and 6 hash types). The Coffeeshop has a bar for (soft)drinks, coffee and some muchie snacks. It is also possible to sit upstairs in the Bulldog Palace café where you can consume your bought products whilst enjoying an alcoholic drink or a nice meal.

The service from a short, Spanish woman, was beyond terrible. Her service and attitude was very rude, short tempered, impatient & it felt like she was trying cause a fight with my fiancé & I. She even caused an uncomfortable & unnecessary scene, in front of other people visiting the bulldog, who where strangers to the both of us. We even left the venue earlier than we would have wanted to, because of how we where treated, by her service. Disgusting behaviour.

One of the best Coffeeshops in Amsterdam in an area With many Clubs around. You can also find a Casino Close by and get in the right mood With a good Drink outside and INSIDE. This IS a little tiny Club street you must See With a Joint smoked in our lovely ex-police Station. Feel the Ghosts around you but also feel safety when you are one of the good ones ;)

I stopped in for a coffee and the staff were all so kind. The interior is pretty cool, there is an area where they have a ton of different notes in every currency hanging from the ceiling with messages scrawled on. The entire space is so interesting. I'd definitely recommend going!

Great little boozer with decent atmosphere & if your like me and love a good bit of karaoke 🎤 then this is your place. Really clean & tidy only downfall is they charge you to use the downstairs toilet 🙄 two pensioners on guard. After spending a few ££ on drinks/food you would think that the toilet would be free as a paying customer.

Staff rude, waited nearly an hour for 2 lattes, weren’t even given lattes, when I said the order was wrong he said ‘no you didn’t’. Didn’t want to wait another 50 mins for replacements so just paid. Went to use the toilet & had to pay 50c…. Had no cash so couldn’t go! As if paying €8 for two thimbles of coffee wasn’t enough.

If you want to drink/eat and smoke it is the biggest and propably the best place. You know what you get, often a lot of people here. Coffeeshop next door had a lot on the menu as well. Small fast line and not so much time to look thru the menu, should make the menu accessible closer to the entrance and rest of the line.

Super cool place downstairs. The guy at the selling desk was a bit rude when I asked him about the types they had on the menu, so took a star off.

Perfect for stoners with dogs! Very dog friendly place! nice staff and good vibes a bit expensive but the best place for a drink and a smoke, highly recommend!

Great food and vibes, what turned me off was the rude lady in the toiled who told me I couldn’t use the toilet if I didn’t have spare change, I left and I pissed on the street. I won’t be hustled to take a piss I won’t be back

The place is very big, the price a bit high, but the music super very good Dj. Just for the staff I been talking with, about ordering, 2 time wrong drink was sended over charges the food, a bit of more training for the staff will improve this place. Thanks

Security was very rude, made me throw out my water from my water bottle because if i want water i have to buy apparently. Then later said we had to order drinks to stay even though we hadnt finished our prerolls.

The Bulldog Palace is a grand café that is located on the Leidsebuurt. This square is right in the middle of the city's nightlife district. The Palace is the place to be in Amsterdam if you want it all.

Given the prices were good but service not so 3*... bit of a hassle to be served, must things on menu were not available. Just for tourists who want to smoke.
