Fashion for Good

Museum

🫤 2 stars cause the concept is good. But bad story telling and flow, tiny, things are inaccessible, broken down or falling apart. Happy I didnt have to pay with my museumcart; but €10,- is ridiculous. Felt very neglected. People often mention fashion, museum, floor, information, interesting, clothing, future,

Very informative. I liked the “I can do that” tips found in different parts of the showrooms, and participated in a fashion challenge.

Was a very cool place to learn about fashion and the costs of our clothing. It was free when I went in 2019. Sad to see it is temporarily closed. I learned alot and made some oaths to better my choices on clothing.

Very well designed with attention to information layout, interactivity and set design. Although I understand the message of trying our best around purchasing of materials, the tone came across a little aggressive to those who cant afford or are able to buy alternative, high quality clothing. Some parts of the exhibition were also not functioning well. ¼ of the space just being a shop too. The ticket was only 7.50 but I wouldnt pay more to view it again

A Museum about sustainability in textiles. The past, present and a bit of future of ecological fashion. You can leave a lot about the right way to live without useless consumption of buying stuff. A must to see.

i absolutely loved this museum. it offered three different floors, each one representing the past, the present and hopefully the future of fashion. everything was extremely interesting, in particular on the last floor, all the different small solutions to the huge problem of environmental impact of the fashion industry. seeing so up close old looks from major luxury houses such as chanel, balenciaga, versace etc. was a privilege. i also enjoyed exploring the cutting-edge looks on the last floor, from contemporary designers. the staff was nice and i also liked the interactive bracelet's function.

Fashion for good is a platform for sustainable fashion innovation. In this space you can learn how your clothes are made and discover exciting innovations that shape our future. The building is divided into multiple sections. The museum is open to the public which is spread across three floors. Where you can find out the history of the apparel industry. Or things like how much water is spent on making a basic tee shirt. The lives of apparel workers. On another floor you are able to see the pioneering work in the sustainable world where people have come together to make the world a better place. Also there is a Co working space for innovators from around the world to come together and share their ideas and incubate them. Fashion for good also helps these innovators to find right investors and support their ideas to become a reality. They do have summits on a regular basis where investors and innovators are mixed with each other. The foundation is backed by multiple big fashion brands.

This museum shows the sustainability within the fashion industry. There is a section for decorating a pair of white shirts, which costs 15 EUR. Because this activity does not include dyeing, it might be a bit surprising but it is really interesting to designing your own shirts.

Interesting museum with a focus on sustainability in the clothing industry. You learn a lot of information about how cotton clothes are produced and the societal and environmental effect of that. I personally loved the first floor, which highlights new breakthroughs and innovative practices for recycling, reusing, dying fabrics without chemicals, replacing plastic with biodegradable options etc. It gives a feeling of hope that change for the better is possible and it makes me wonder why it's not becoming standard practice already. Throughout the museum you can also scan information boards with a bracelet which give you tips on how to be more conscious about your clothing choices and what you can change to make a positive impact. You can email the tips to yourself at the end. Please note that, despite the word "fashion" in its name, the museum is not necessarily focused on fashion per se but on the clothing industry. I had a bit different expectations going in so I was not sure if this is what I wanted to see but once I knew what to expect overall I enjoyed it a lot still and visited for a second time to see their new addition, which offers a broader historical and cultural perspective.

Slightly disappointing. The bottom floor was entirely a shop, with some interesting items but overall not great for a sustainable fashion museum which should not be encouraging new purchases. The second floor has lots of brilliant information about new and future materials but has no interesting fashion designs to show how these can be used. The second room of the second floor has some very uninspired student designs which look very basic and don’t show the potential of these new fabrics This museum has a lot of potential but doesn’t execute on this well

Nice and interesting experience, I have found out soooo many and useful information. I would recommend you to go for the guided tour, it is not expensive at all and truly worth the money. The only thing is that they promised to send by email a lot of information after the tour, but nothing came, so I am disappointed about this.

Well laid out exhibition. Bottom floor addresses the past, ground floor the present, top floor the future. A thought provoking n informative experience.

This exhibition is not just about showing what is wrong with fast fashion it empowers you to help as an individual. We need museums like this for all fields affecting climate change. We brought our university students for a tour. It was great. Strongly recommended if you arw interested in helping the planet.

Love the idea and concept, but I found it overall a bit underwhelming and lacking in content. I was still glad to support it for the cause, but didn't leave feeling like I learned much. Bummer, as it is a great opportunity to get people more into this important topic! The staff was very nice.

There aren't many museums on this topic so I was very happy I found this one. Great if you want to learn more about the development of production, different materials and sustainable fashion in the future.

An interesting, in-depth exhibition that expertly explained and visualised the various effects fashion has socially and environmentally, focused on three separate collections: Past, Contemporary, Future. Clothes shown in some exhibitions, most notably the contemporary fashion, were able to be purchased. In short, well worth the visit

the staff is very nice and the museum is interesting, but unfortunately you can only pay without cash.

Great concept featuring circular brands, events with the founders, clothing swaps, everything what it takes to avoid sweeping “consumerist” approach

I only happened to be walking by and popped in for a look and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful explaining how the museum works. A lot of really useful and interesting information laid out in a simple and interactive way. I really appreciate the message they are trying to get across too. I hope more people will be intrigued to have a look and become more educated and informed on such an important topic. Would visit again.
