👍👍 A few days ago I went to the museum for the exhibition: Kunst in het Derde Rijk. It was a very interesting exhibition and enjoyed it to the fullest. That was my first visit after the big renovation of the museum. The museum was closed for a long time due to the renovation work, but it was worth it. People often mention museum, exhibition, collection, nice, Arnhem, time, interesting,

Museum Arnhem is a great museum with an always changing set of exhibitions! this time even the permanent exhibition got turned around and rearranged! there are ofthen interactive works there. you enter and exit through the gift shop, there are lockers available for a 1€ deposit and coat hangers. there is an outside exhibition in the yard as well as a cute shic cafe with a wonderful outlook towards the Rijn river and artworks outside. this place is also a Pokéstop for those still playing Pokémon Go. free wifi is available. gift shop has exhibition themed nicknacks

A modern museum on a historical spot. Located on a moraine, above the river Rhine and surrounding threes the museum provides it's visitors a unique feeling of calmness. The temporary collection is well thought, but fortunately the characteristic collection is still there to be admired.

Had the honour to show my project Musetopia-Moldova chapter, together with with my friend Karen Sargsyan at the venue 'Subliminal Dialogues curated by Inge Pollet, ' that took place at the Arnhem museum in the year 2009. My partner Judith Vissel (R.I.P) was pregnant with our first son -David at that time. Museutopia consisted out of 11 large scale panels and it was designed by the amazing Esther Krop!

A very nice museum. This time the museum has an expedition of the arts in Germany through the time of the Nazis, highly recommended to visit this historical exhibition

Beautiful space with good views over the river, short walk "uphill" from Central Arnhem Station, excellent temporary exhibition about an early 20th Century German painter. Pretty bar/café.

It has an attractive collection of art that is perfect for a weekend afternoon tour. Don't forget to stop by the next-door cafeteria for a coffee and a carrot cake. They're delicious!

Medium-sized but very fine museum that is about 10 minutes out of town from Arnhem Centraal. Only temporary exhibitions are shown. The Pierre museum café is also nice...

When we visited there was only a temporary exhibition, and no clear mention of the standard collection not being shown anywhere. Bit dissapointed.

Some things are very interesting after the renovation, but I really miss that old view! The new restaurant is much bigger very nice but they definitely needed more staff and to order more food by the opening! Worth visiting for sure!

Nice museum, good collection. The new layout is nice, alltough a bit difficult to get used too. The expositions were nice too. I get all the boomers complaining that its too much in-your-face criticism on environmental issues, but hé, maybe that's what needed for them to listen.

Beautiful architecture but the exhibitions are not very interesting and also very poor explanations in English. Also the staff is not the most smiling team (and no effort to speak English).

Really nice gem of a museum. The architecture is beautiful and the garden is free to enter. They have interesting art collections and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend going here!

Beautiful museum with attention to details, some fun for children and a beautiful little garden with art and a wonderful view.

Museum Arnhem recently reopened, after a long time of it being closed due to construction work. The building now makes better use of its spectacular surroundings, offering some stunning views over the river Rhine from its vantage point atop a push moraine. The exhibition includes many pieces that have been in the museum's collection for years, but also a fair number of recent acquisitions and works on loan. They're displayed in ways that make deliberate points on social and political issues. In some cases the result is contrived or heavy handed, but in most cases it's effective. It's always deliberate. I estimate you should be able to see the entire exhibition space in about 90 minutes. Add another half hour if you also want to explore the sculpture garden.

Super expensive for what it is and clearly not foreigner friendly. You have no explanation in English, the collections of what to see are small. You are done in 30 minutes due to this lack of pieces of art... No maps available... so really disappointing.

It seems that for musea it is required to take 5 to 15 years of construction before it gets reopened. Full of expectations we bought our tickets. But were disappointed. It was relatively small with a limited number of pieces and only a small number of items were appealing which has never happened before.

Loved this contemporary art museum! Especially as my work is in it 😅😅

The newly refurbished museum has a very interesting collection of pieces. However, there were only Dutch explanations of the art works when I visited without any English translations. There is also an outdoor area with sculptures. There are very unique gifts available in the gift shop and a pleasant cafe that serves lunch and cakes. The toilets are located downstairs and are gender free.

A fantastic museum with very provoking art. I still understood a lot as an English person visiting a Dutch museum. Just make sure you make the most of the visit as there is a lot to see even though there was only three main exhibition areas. The place was welcoming and a lovely place.

🫤 I don't truly get it, I thought library is supposed to be kept quite... I love the library itself. The facilities it offers, the way it looks, the cleanliness, the fact that when you reserve a working/study spot you also can get a complimentary coffee or tea and at the same time, the reservation fee...
