The temporary exhibits are always worth it. I saw the "is it alive?" Exhibit recently. Amazing!

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this museum . There was a good overview of the history of the weaving industry with a lot of old wooden weaving machines from the time it was still hard manual labour. But also an area with very modern computer controlled weaving machines that were in operation and sometimes produced beautiful patterns designed by artists The operators in that room were willing to explain me some of the details of the production process, which was fascinating.

A wonderful museum, very much a must-see. There's a great mix of the old and new in terms of technology and products. If you're in the Netherlands for a holiday, do buy an annual MuseumKaarte annual pass, it'll pay for itself if you only visit a couple of other Dutch museums or galleries.

Absolutely loved it. Went here during a weekend to their design lab to create my own socks, it was a great experience but a bit expensive and I would have liked to have more color choices. Anyway, the entrance is free with museum card. It's really impressive and interesting to see the machines working. It has many activities to entertain your children.

A beautiful museum, telling the story of the textile industry in Tilburg, and covering all the manufacturing stages. It has a wonderful lab where you can see the modern machines in action. There is an entire floor dedicated to experimenting with textile, with a lot of small 'mini games' and activities. You can also watch live tufting of giant carpets by experts, which is just hypnotizing.

Nice museum. They change their exhibitions often, so there's always something new to see. Beauty, creativity and history in one place. Also good for children.

Love their exhibition- ‘is it alive?’ They have a fascinating collaboration with studio DRIFT - ‘I am storm’. The regular exhibitions are also interesting, many interactive/hands-on facilities to introduce the textile histories and products.

The tagline is something akin to "check this out if you think fabrics are boring". They got that right 100%, it's part museum and part custom design factory,so you can get a hands-on feel for historical fabric making, fabric art as well as see how modern weaving and knitting mashines churn out actual designer fabrics.

If you want to understand how things work, definitely go there. Lovely people, interesting exhibitions (both permanent and temporary) and lovely soups at the Cafe. Don't know what else to add except for the fact that people who work here are really fans of what they do. Thanks for the experience!

An interesting place to visit, the old textile mill has been refurbished and brought into the 20th century, you can see the old machines, and the new computerised textile machines, what a difference.

Interesting place for both the industrial heritage and the ongoing activities in the worldwide renowned textile design lab. Moreover, it's not often that you get good coffee at a museum cafe. At this place you won't be disappointed, to say the least.

I have visited Textile Museums around the world, and I can say that both institution and exhibition behind this museum are top class. You will see textile production process from the 1920s up until the contemporary time. Place is made for all groups, will be suitable for kids and even researchs. Thank you Textile Museum in Tilburg!

Great space, modernly arranged old post-industrial buildings. Cool and interesting exhibitions. Old and modern machines shown from the inside. The opportunity to see with your own eyes how fabrics with beautiful and original patterns are created. I recommend a visit!

A nice, small museum reflecting the history of this town and region in the textile industry. The relevant machines are shown to construct thread/yarn and the things to actually weave industrial scale. It is unimaginable how much noise this must have made in the steam age! Just 1 machine can already generate enough deafening noise! Also impressive are the weaving and knitting machines of the modern age. Come and see it all if you have like 1-2 hours to spend and do enjoy the nice and tasty cafeteria after your visit!

My belongings (bags and vest) were stored in a large, closed, beautiful chest so that I could admire the museum unhindered. Interesting how a wool blanket is made! The "lace" exhibit was very stylish and impressive. Enough information about the operations and the entire process. (Original) Ik had online een ticket gekocht en kon daardoor meteen door.
