A nice experience at Café de Paris. We went there without a reservation and everything was ok. The food is very good, amazingly tasty but from my point of view, slightly overpriced. Also, very friendly staff. For surely, I will come back.

Awesome atmosphere, food is delicious but the serving outdoor is veeery slow, the people next to me came later but was served first. As I had to wait for 6pm, I order Mimosa drink and truffle fries, then ordered a cheeseburger and white wine. Got bread and butter in meantime with my drinks between food. Chefs of Amsterdam know how to cook beef, the burger was so juicy but well done that I wanted to congratulate the kitchen myself. So if you are in no hurry, and want to eat great food then this is your restaurant

A big space with great decor, Cafe de Paris impresses with the setting but doesn’t fare too well in terms of food, and especially not in terms of service. We ordered the cheeseburger which was decent, and the vegan steak, which was a thoroughly disappointing entree: literally a partially baked eggplant with some fantastic beetroot sauce (the only thing that saved the dish). Perhaps they could have fared better with actual meat substitutes instead of a poorly thought-of idea of what vegetarian food should be like. The chocolate lava cake dessert we ordered was mostly flavorless and underwhelming. Portions were decent, but the service was really slow. It seemed they only had three people working the floor for about 20+ tables so catching someone’s eye to order took at least 10 minutes each time. On the plus side our server was quite delightful. They take reservations, though on a weeknight there is plenty of space for walk-ins. I’d say: come for the ambience, but don’t expect a grand culinary experience.

On a sunny day it is delightful to sit outside and chat with a cocktail. But for chilly days you can sit inside and enjoy all the lovely food they have! My favorite brunch item is the steak and egg together with those lovely truffle fries. Pair those with a glass of scropino and enjoy your afternoon brunch with some friends. Would recommend the place for sure!

We ate here today expecting what you would for a touristy place in Amsterdam, however we were soooo disappointed There was no seasoning on our "spicy" sandwich, the bitterballen were not crunchy enough, the service was not great at all because they would just simply quickly bring our order (only so no contact with them), and lastly (!) the fries don't meet the Dutch standards at all. As people living in the Netherlands, we know the supermarket fries you can just fry, and at home the cheapest fries literally taste better. The "parmesan" cheese was just plastic tasteless sombrero on top of the fries. We NEVER not finish our fries, but today we did. We are not people to really complain about stuff, but we wanted to let the waitress know how we felt. Though, you could really read on her face how little she cared about our comments on the food. That was what made us angriest and why were writing this review now.

The service and coffee here was awful. We asked multiple times for water and we had to wait for 30 minutes for it and two of us didn’t even receive it. The eggs Benedict was ok, but the bread it was on wasn’t amazing. I liked how you were able to order on your phones and pay but they include gratuity. I would not recommend this place especially for a group larger than 2.

I popped in for a quick bite of breakfast before heading off on the Eurostar. I chose the avocado and eggs on toast. The menu listed chili flakes but I asked for it without. The eggs were ever so slightly underdone, with a bit of ‘goo’, but otherwise tasty. I appreciated the avocado being sliced avocado rather than guacamole as you tend to fund when ordering this elsewhere.

delicious food and amazing prices (for amsterdam). ordered brunch and was surprised by how little we paid for the quality of the food. would defo recommend if visiting amsterdam. the venue is also so lovely- its light and cozy with cool designs and also above a canal. staff was super kind too. would definitely come back! :)

Seated right away with prompt service. Ordered the açaí bowl and vegetable frittata and avocado toast which came out in 10 mins and was absolutely delicious! Server was delightful, too.

Had breakfast here, good spot, good food.

They did a collab with another restaurant so the card was different from last time. We were all a bit hungry but we didn't see anything we liked from that special card so we ate lunch somewhere else. Drinks were good and not too pricy for the city. Service was nice but they weren't that quick.

I did not have a good experience in this restaurant. It was very cold, I asked the waitresses to turn on the heater but they did not do it, so it was very uncomfortable to have lunch while you cannot feel your hands. I ordered a panini and it was extremely salty, and not worth the price. The fries were normal and the decoration was nice.

The food was really good and came out fast, same as the drinks. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and answered any questions we had. Would recommend this place for a chill brunch!

A casual dining place near central Amsterdam. The food was good and staff were friendly. Nothing really unique or special about this place but all around a nice cafe to grab breakfast or lunch!

Nice place, good food. A little pricey but you can expect that on the main street. One things I don't like is that they don't uphold their student Mondays, everytime i try to make a reservation they don't know what I'm talking about.

Cute breakfast and brunch place. I’m not a huge fan of breakfast, so the options were limited for me as they only do breakfast like stuff before 5... and burger or basic sandwiches. My friend got the French toast with fruits and it was truly amazing and I regrets not going for that. I got the lobster roll sandwich... not a big fan of lobster... but it was good. French fries were really good. I do find the place to be overpriced for what you get.

The ambiance is good. The coffee tastes good but it is a lil bit overpriced for normal cappuccino without any art/ decoration. Me and friend came here in the morning just only to have coffee and chit chat, but twice the waitresses came and asked if we need additional orders when our coffee still half cup left. Seems they rushed us abit. But overall is good.

The breakfast was okay. We tried the „famous“ eggs of the place and it was alright, not outstanding. A bit overpriced but in general good service.
