Wonderful place! I came here quite by accident while walking home. I liked the square so much that I came to it on the second day. Old trees that are more than a hundred years old, and birds that either freeze motionless or fly right next to you. The atmosphere in the park is incredibly friendly and intimate. You can simply sit on a bench and watch boats and ships pass by. I will try to visit it every time I come to Amsterdam. I recommend it to you too!

This is probably my preferred spot in the city to admire sunrise, sunset, picnics and even lunch when weather allows. It’s a hidden gem right in the middle of Plantage. The view is wonderful, just as the surrounding buildings and house boats. Very very cozy.
