It is lovely here during this time of the year. During the weekend it does tend to become a bit busy but the forest is so spacious that it doesn't become an issue! I definitely recommend coming here at some point during the warmer months to enjoy the sunshine to the fullest.

Beautiful forest. Perfect to unwind after a day’s rush. Great for biking, walking, running, canoeing, swimming or any other recreational activity. The entrance I took has many free parking spots and a restaurant. Going in the forest there are many roads/paths you can take, personally I like the paths that are covered by vegetation and threes. Remember to bring everything back home you brought here. I wouldn’t recommend leaving anything in the car. Enjoy!

Amsterdam Forest (Bos) is an incredible artificial forest with lake and trail. Near the lake you can rent boat and eat icecream etc. You can enjoy the forest with dedicated horse, cycling and pedestrian track. I enjoyed sitting and enjoying in this beautiful and peaceful place.

A magical place to walk and escape the rat race. Plenty of different parts to explore and a fantastic place for people to bring dogs. Because it is so big, it never feels crowded. You can get lost here but Google Maps will keep you in tow. Just another fantastic place to explore in Amsterdam if you want to get away from Tourist areas.

Nice massive park just at the edge of the capital. Sometimes you wonder how such a massive green space could located just near to a big city. Plenty of walking and cycling trails through forest. And canoeing also available in the lake in middle. Separate kids pool also there. A big playground also available if you are in the mood to sweat a little.

Perfect place to go with bikes or to take a walk but prefered with bike as it is huge! The trails are well done and you've indications during the whole way. There are toilets and places to have some lunch or drinks. Full of nice flora and fauna, with lakes and places to rent kayaks or canoes. I love it!

Massive park with large amount of wooded areas. It is much more rustic and quiet compared to other Amsterdam area parks. Extensive amount of trails and a few cafes. Also interesting there is a massive rowing complex located in the park. There is a bike trail that runs alongside it.

Huge park, apparently the biggest in all of Europe. I could only see the boathouse as walking can only get you so far. Nice pull-up bars.

Great big park for running. Lots of spaces for kids to play and benches for a picnic or reading a book. The rowing section is fun on race days.

Really nice park with natural beauty, you should ride a bike here which is easy to rent from a shop near the main entrance, riding near the lake is the best experience.

Yesterday's forest adventure was straight out of a fantasy novel! πŸŒ²πŸš£β€β™‚οΈ The serene lake for swimming and the enchanting rivers perfect for canoeing made it feel like a journey into a 'Lord of the Rings' wonderland. Nature's magic at its finest!

I love this place. You can find here a charming locations: embankments hidden from view with comfortable spinning loungers and lunch tables, sports grounds, streams with bridges, a farm, a playground for children with animals and other activities .

Very calm place to visit.. specially at spring and Fall.. i visited both spring and Fall and recommend to visit in Fall as you would see lots of colours.. You can walk in there but if you want to cover entire forest, biking is the best way.. There are couple of coffee and snacks bar in case you want to take a break while roaming.. You can also do the boating as there are multiple sports options there.. Also couple of trouist attraction as well.. Also one of the main attraction is Cherry blossom.. Don't miss if you're visiting it in bloom..

More forest than park, very diverse nature, ranging from beautiful quite places to busy playing fields. Also great for kayaking - the rental place is great, but if the weather is good, you have to make reservations. Amazing place to cool down if the city becomes too loud or too hot. Too bad the park was cut in half by the A9 highway.

The really beautiful and peaceful place. It has a good cycle track starting from Center Of Amsterdam. I rented a bike with friends and pedal down here to see the outskirts of Amsterdam. Both look two different places, highly recommended.

Beautiful place to visit specially during the spring. It has over 200 cherry blossom trees which look amazing during blossom season. It’s a huge park & you can spend an entire day, have a picnic and enjoy long walks.

Photos cannot fully capture the beauty and spaciousness of this park. It seemed like this park was mainly for Amsterdam residents which I loved. It takes around 30 min to reach it from the center and here you are, surrounded by the beauty of the nature in its purest, barely touched form.

An early spring morning walk in Amsterdamse Bos was lovely. As you can see from the photos we had blue skies and fluffy clouds, but not pictured is the hail that came down for several minutes. Off the trails, the ground was predictably muddy. Being in a forest, especially one so close to an urban center, is always renewing and pleasurable. I hope to return when the weather is warmer despite the fact that the forest is directly under the flight path to Schiphol Airport.

Amsterdamse Bos is an amazing park and translates as 'Amsterdam forest' from Dutch. It is pretty big and contains some animal parks, sporting clubs, rowing courses, gardens and remembrance monuments. I recommend visiting it by renting a bike and enjoying the nature that is on offer.

Such a good afternoon out. The goats are all friendly and it is so much fun for all ages (me and my best friend aged between 28-25 had a great time). The cafe is expensive however that is how they make their money so get a drink at least, they serve coffee, cold drinks and even wine and beer. The food is nice too.
