    Pros: Perfectly located (5mins on foot till Noorderpark, 2 mins and you arrive at Central station); Very friendly staff; Clean facilities and whole territory Cons: Places for tents are not organized, so everyone install like them want and it's kind of chaotic; If you arrived with tent by car - parking on territory is 8โ‚ฌ per day (as 2022/06), but it's cheaper than to park in city anyway; Maybe it was a kind of special event, but it was a bit noisy;

Been several times to Camping Vliegenbos and I've always enjoyed my stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and the price included all the services (no coins for the warm showers). Location is AMAZING. Will be back.

Great service, friendly and supportive employers, the whole place is super clean all the time and very beautiful. Really good location, the way into downtown is uncomplicated and fast. The kitchen makes nice breakfast and dinner. Prices are more than reasonable and fair. All around an amazing place I can highly recommend, will definitely come again some day!

Overall a nice camping experience. Plus + Low cost stay in a tent Clean tent space A lot of staff that is helpful, friendly, and made out of both Dutch and Internationals. Great connection to public transport: less than 15 min to the city center. โ€œP&P fritesโ€ nearby offers tasteful and low cost snacks just 5 min away from camping. Minus - Only burning hot water in the showers When the only cafe of the camping closes there is no possibility to buy food or good snacks. There arenโ€™t many sitting areas. There are just a few charging locations.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The tent area is softly grassed, so it is very easy to pitch our tent and then sleep comfortably. The bathrooms are clean and plentiful. There are no designated tent sites, so tents can be quite crowded next to each other, especially at weekends. But that's not a problem, especially if your neighbour doesn't smoke day and night. We also liked the kitchen area, which is cosy and practical. What is negative is not the campsite's fault. Some guests are sometimes noisy at night. Or they blow smoke in our faces carelessly, even in the kitchen area, even though we are with children. Excellent value for money. Close to downtown, even by bike or on foot.

Pros: The camping is very well connected to the city center. You can go either with the metro or with a bike (they also rent bikes directly at the reception). They have a small outdoor kitchen with gas cooker, and some tables and benches where you can eat. Lots of trees in the camping and in the park next to it. The park it's perfect for a walk or run ๐Ÿ˜Š Cons: The tents area is a bit too crowded. No hairdryers at the bathroom.

Awesome location! Friendly stuff. Sharing outdoor kitchens are just great, you can literally find any kitchenware there. Bathrooms are clean and convenient. At the Vliegenbos you will also find a cafe where you may enjoy some coffee. And the stars are clearly visible at night :) To be short, here your camping will be VERY comfortable.

The camp house where we stayed at was incredibly dirty and unkept. I literally had to clean spider web and there were layers of dirt on the walls inside. The clerk that works there was rude and unhelpful. At the time of our visit, a bus line connecting the camp to the city was temporarily cancelled b/c of some road work. The camp gave no notice or announcements, we only found out when we got there. That meant that we had to walk 30-40 min to the nearest station every day. I would never visit again.

Super happy with our experience at this campsite. We had our van here for two nights and had peaceful, relaxing sleeps. Facilities were top notch, regularly cleaned and very comfortable! Unfortunately our van broke down after night two and Eric and the team were awesome enough to accept us into one of their cabins. They were super supportive and helped us with contacts for a mechanic etc. Restaurant is such an added bonus, with coffees and pastries handy for a lazy breakfast. Bike rental right at the door step, and all services available when you need them. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel very relaxed and at ease, especially with our situation. Highly recommended this place for your stay in Amsterdam, easy access to the city and metro! Thanks again to the team, youโ€™re awesome!

Stayed a week. Beautiful, peaceful and spotlessly clean. Sweet and simple with everything you need. Great location good supermarket nearby - local transport close by too. We hired bikes from the campsite then took the free ferry across. Friendly - extra helpful staff tooโ€ฆ. Will be back!!!! Thank you โ€ฆ.. Danke Vel (๐Ÿค”spell check!)

Great site just outside the city centre. Nice park alongside to run or walk the dog. I'm surprised with the parakeets in the trees. Good facilities and hookup.

Great campsite in a quiet part of Amsterdam, but only a 10 minute bike ride to the ferry and your right in town. Good bathrooms, kitchen area for campers, and a good Cafe on site. โ‚ฌ18 -1 person, 1 tent

A camping in a great location in Amsterdam Noord. The location was the reason we chose it - close enough to walk to Amsterdam Centraal Station - and we loved the relative peace and quiet of the north side of the city. We were a family camping in the big camping field and we enjoyed 4 good nights here. The site has good facilities - a baล•/cafe (we didn't use but we're tempted by it) and shared covered outdoor kitchen facilities which we made full use of. Only gripe was that it was a little noisy at night with people returning from late nights... but people did settle down. We also used the camping huts for two nights which were good value and comfortable.

Me and my daughter had a great experience here. Very friendly and helpful at reception and the bar. Security was nice too. The area is well kept and clean plus it is quite close to the city. Reception was very helpful to make sure our stay in Amsterdam was nice. Our stay was very quiet. Thankyou

Great location for exploring Amsterdam if you have a camper. The spaces are cramped and there's not much room at all between pitches, so it isn't somewhere I'd want to spend a day on a chair. It's close to the city centre (a walk to the free ferry will get you to central station within about 25 minutes), it feels like you're nestled in a woodland, the parakeets flying through the trees. Showers were very clean and good. The site is very tidy and was peaceful (almost fully booked though). Launderette is good value for money but the shop/cafe/restaurant is too expensive. Staff were all really friendly though!

We had an incredible 3 day stay at the Vliegenbos campsite! The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and close to the city. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the activities offered, such as hiking and lively evenings. We highly recommend this campsite for an unforgettable vacation!โ€

The location is exceptional, conveniently situated in close proximity to the Metro, requiring only one stop to reach Amsterdam Centraal. The bathrooms are maintained scrupulously clean and are heated for comfort even during chillier temperatures. Added conveniences include a combined restaurant and mini-market on-site, eliminating the need to travel far for any essentials or meals. Moreover, bike rentals are readily available for those who enjoy exploring the city on two wheels. This makes it an ideal camping site for any visitor keen on uncovering the unique charms of Amsterdam.

A bit expensive but a good option if you want to be in the right place to visit Amsterdam. 10m walk to Subway station, and 1 stop away from central station, so can't complain. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Make sure you book at least one week in advance, as it can get quite crowded, specially on weekends.

Nice, clean camping fields with perfectly cut grass. Clean toilets and hot water, you can shower as long as you want (no coins or smth). The staff is very nice and helpful, they charged our phones for us and let us use their luggage room after check-out. Perfect location to camp in Amsterdam.

It is a good camping but still quite a walk towards the city center. I would definitely recommend to use bikes if you want to stay here. Everything went smooth.

Really well run campsite with clean facilities. 20 minute walk to the free ferry to Amsterdam. On site bar/restaurant was always busy and had a great atmosphere although we didnโ€™t eat there. Will definitely visit again.

I stayed in "Hikers cabins" with couple of friends from other countries were nice, we had 3 bunk beds with pillows and blankets. There were also table and area to cook. Also it was nice to have small shop were we could buy some breakfast and other things (snacks, drinks, etc) nearby reception besides going for kitchen (open: 8:00-21:00) and restaurant (8:00-23:00). So we didn't have to worry about food or last minute changes in our plan or when we got hungry or thirsty as we didn't need to store stuffs when there are no fridge. Other then that, I definitely recommend staying here for those people who want to feel the "camping atmosphere" but want to stay very close to the city of Amsterdam! It not exactly the walking distance for those people who doesn't really like a lot of walking but you can always catch a bus or taxi. Those people who loves to walk won't find it hard to walk to the station and catch a ferry to go to the center of course. Either way it's nice place for people who want to stay on budget as staying at the center of Amsterdam can be pricey. Also there are more option to stay (in your Campers and caravans or even set your own tent)!

Went there in 2019, the service was initially alright. The location is alright-ish. The camping restaurant isn't bad, good beer and food at reasonable prices, and some nice live music. Safety is a big minus though - it just so happens that my mom got robbed during the night/early morning (I almost lost my stuff too). Her bag was found in the WCs - we lost โ‚ฌ105 that were supposed to be spent in gifts for relatives. The camping's approach to the situation was quite revolting as we weren't allowed to see what happened despite cameras supposedly filming everything... no use in contacting local police since we would be immediately leaving after that. Definitely not going there ever again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

๐Ÿ˜ It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night.
